NIST BTech Admission 2025: How to Apply?
BTech admission at NIST is entrance-based. The admission process includes the online application, entrance exam, physical reporting and fee payment. The steps included in the process of NIST admissions for its BTech programme are given below:
STEP 1: Application Process
The first step is to apply for JEE (Main) as it is the accepted entrance exam for BTech admission. The JEE (Main) application fee is INR 1,000 for unreserved category candidates and INR 800 for reserved category and female candidates. Candidates applying under the NRI quota must register on the institute's official website. After registering, they can fill out the application form and submit it along with the required documents and an application fee of INR 400. For offline application, candidates need to visit the campus of the institute & submit the hard copy of the application form.
STEP 2: NIST BTech Selection Process
Candidates with a valid JEE (Main) score can apply for OJEE counselling. 70% of the total seats are filled through this counselling. 15% of the seats are filled through JEE (Main) counselling of other states. JEE Main result 2024 session 1 has been announced by the NTA. The JEE Main 2024 Result session 1 was released on February 12. NTA has activated the JEE Mains result 2024 link on the official website.
