Absolutely dissatisfied.
Placements: My college is best for aeronautics and applied science. 70% of students are placed by campus placement. The highest package is 12 LPA and the lowest package is 4 LPA. Top recruiters are Boeing, Airbus, Hindustan Aeronautics, and other MNC companies. 30% of students got internships with government and private companies. Major roles are CFD engineer, designer, etc.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good, especially the library, which is a great place to read a lot of books. It has three floors. Classrooms are well-equipped with smart boards, and faculty members teach using practical methods. Hostel mess food is average. There are three canteens, and the food is okay. The college gives importance to sports and other activities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful to students and share their knowledge. Their teaching quality is good. They take students for industrial visits. At the same time, studies are very strict, and students are expected to achieve a high pass percentage. Semester exams are tough.
Other: I chose this college to gain knowledge about the aeronautical field. The main thing is that college culturals are very fun and enjoyable. Avatar is one of the great celebration functions that is like a festival with drums. Here, club activities are also conducted.

I am dissatisfied with the placements in 2021 but good environment and infrastructure.
Placements: The placement in the college is average. About 40% of students are recruited every year. About 15 to 20 core companies are available. You can get a job if there is no rear history. The lowest salary package available is 2 LPA. The highest salary package available is 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: The environment of the college is awesome. Wi-Fi is not available. The library in this college is wonderful. Classrooms and labs are neatly maintained. Sports ground is small. Importance for sports is not given. Canteen food is average. Medical facilities are also available to treat the students. Hostel facilities are poor on campus.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are qualified and friendly to students. They are helpful in every event conducted in our college. To pass the exam, it is a must to get above 50%. Exams are difficult since it is an Anna University college. But faculty members will help you to prepare before exams.
Other: This college is one of the best colleges in Coimbatore for aeronautical engineering. All types of scholarships are available. There are lots of events happening and yet to happen. College must improve the food quality and taste. College should look after hostel infrastructure and facilities.

I am satisfied with the teaching, good placements in 2020 and really good infrastructure.
Placements: Almost 60% of students were placed in the year 2021. About 70% of students got placed in the year 2019. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. Leading Edge and Ultramain are top recruiters here. Only about 30% of students got internships. Software developer and BDO are top roles offered here.
Infrastructure: Classrooms, labs and the library are excellent with knowledgeable teachers. Wi-Fi is available in limited areas. The hostel is good with a Wi-Fi facility, and they clean the hostel twice a day. Sports are not well in this college. The canteen is very bad. The food served in the hostel is also very bad.
Faculty: Staff members here are very knowledgeable to make their full effort to give their ideas to us. Their reaching quality is very good. This course is relevant to join the industry for students. The difficulty of exams is moderate. The pass percentage in 2020 to 2021 is 95%.
Other: Avathar is celebrated for engineering students, and it is excellent and gives extraordinary memories for our college life.

Infrastructure, facilities and staff members are very good.
Placements: Up to 70% of the students will get placed from our college. Top recruiting companies are Capgemini, Defense and Aerospace (to hire aeronautical engineering students), Jaro Education (to provide placements for all branches), Byju's and Paytm (to hire all graduates), etc. Many companies also visit here for placements. Up to 50% of the students from our course got internships. Aircraft design engineer and many roles can attain according to your interest.
Infrastructure: In our department, there is a department library as well as a college library, and there are many books which you can be able to borrow and read. There is a Wi-Fi facility in both the departments and the library. I always give high rating for the lab facility of this institution because, after MIT Chennai, the only institute which has wind tunnel for the aeronautical lab is Nehru Institute of Engineering and Technology. Classroom facilities are awesome, and every classroom has a projector facility and Wi-Fi facility for instant surfing. Hostel and rooms are good, but the food served is a bit low worthy because the food provided at anywhere is not better than the home food. However, you can able to eat the food in the hostel as it is not much bad considered to other institutions. Medical facilities are awesome, and there is the best dispensary in our college, which has all kinds of emergency medicines even for heart attack. Sports and games are given first preferences in our college. Hence NIET is the best college of Coimbatore for South zone football sport.
Faculty: Teachers are 100% helpful and superb qualified to teach us. Their knowledge of the subject is awesome, and their teaching quality is perfect. The course curriculum is relevant, and our college makes us ready for the industry before completing our course.
Other: We are going to pass out in 2021 from the aeronautical engineering course of 2017 batch. We are going to miss our college and batch faculty members. I have chosen this aeronautical engineering course because I have an interest in flights, and now I am happy that I improved my knowledge about my interests. Best things about this course are the memories which I got in the department and flights. If you attend the Nehru Vigyan Scholarship test and get good marks, then you don't have to pay more fee to study. You can get a scholarship ranging from 25% to 100% according to your marks in the scholarship test. If you get more than 180 cut off marks in 12th studies, then you can study with paying any fee and can fulfil your dreams. You just have to pay admission and the miscellaneous fee, which is approximately up to Rs. 35,000. If you are from government quota with a first graduate certificate, then your fee structure would be Rs. 28,500 for tuition and Rs. 65,000 for the hostel. If you are from government quota without a first graduate certificate, then your fee structure would be Rs. 53,500 for tuition and Rs. 65,000 for the hostel. Our institution always conducts events for many times, and the main event is Avatar fest. Department functions are always organised. Extracurricular activities are conducted, and placement training is also provided often. English communication training is also provided often, etc.

It has a good infrastructure.
Placements: About 85% of students in our course got placed. About 60% of students got an internship at our college. The salary offered to the students ranges from Rs. 10,000-25,000 per month. Companies like Safran, etc., visit our campus for placements. For placements, the college provides training to get the job related to our core field.
Infrastructure: The college provides classroom. The college outside environment is very peaceful. The college has a structured lab and aerodynamic lab. In the hostel, they serve good and Indian food for students. There is a spicy village, which serves all the food for students. There is a stationery shop for students. There is a dispensary in which we can get tablets, and the doctor is available once ina week. Our college conducts sports day every year. There are separate sports facilities for hostel students. The college provides a huge football ground, volleyball ground, and tennis ground. In every department, there is a separate Wi-Fi facility for students.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good. Some teachers have good knowledge. Students are not ready for the industry, but they provide something which helps students to grow their industry knowledge. Teachers are very good. They have good relationships with the students, but education is not changed.
Other: I have chosen aeronautical engineering because I have very much interest to learn about the aeroplane. The college should provide industry-related knowledge. Every event should be funded by college management because there are some people who can able to do huge things, but their financial status is very poor. The college should know about every student field of interest according to that they will provide some training, which will be useful for the students' growth.

Satisfied with the available resources.
Placements: 75% of students are placed last year in Aeronautical Engineering. Top Aero companies that visited the campus are Ultramain, Quest Global, GMR aviation, Genser Aerospace and Neviton. The highest salary 2.75 Lacs Per Annum. The lowest salary 1.5 Lacs Per Annum.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are spacious and clean. A well stacked library contains all the necessary books for the academics. The computers in the Laboratory are connected to high-speed internet. Hostel is located within the campus therefore it is easy for going to classes and returning.
Faculty: Since the college is affiliated to Anna University the syllabus is framed by Anna University. More than half of faculty members are either doctorate or pursuing doctorate. Teaching also involves smart class sessions. A virtual learning hub is also present.
Other: This course involves design and manufacturing methods of aeronautical and aerospace components. The methods are both analytical and experimental.

One of the best of there for Aeronautical in Coimbatore.
Placements: There were some companies interviewing for us, like the tech giants like Sutherland, Tech Mahindra and Infosys. But the recruitment numbers or not so great like the other colleges in Coimbatore it was great, it is one of college which offer this in Coimbatore but need to improve more. They used to conduct job fair every year which is very vast and lots of companies will recruit more than 1000 people.
Infrastructure: Has a vast infrastructure, there are adequate place for all the needs, good environment and a large and well-equipped library. Each floor has a separate restrooms for boys and girls and well separate, good laboratory facilities and the canteen, stationery are alla available inside the campus itself.
Faculty: They have some the best faculty, they have most intelligent and experienced lecturers and those who have worked on air force and some large firms and there will also guest lecturers once a week which will be very inspiring. The course curriculum is also good, mostly of practical bit still needs improvement in job oriented learning.

The best teachers, well-equipped labs, great location, needs improvement in placements.
Placements: The placements for the department of aeronautical engineering are not good. Mostly BPOs visit the campus. The salary offered is not good and usually ranges in between Rs. 8,000 and Rs. 10,000 per month. The companies like Amazon and Tech Mahindra visit the campus which is not suitable for the aeronautical engineering students. My college has an average placement record of 75%. In general, the companies related to aeronautical don't visit the campus. The college has a placement cell which guides the students for the jobs, but they fail to bring good companies with related jobs. But the college is highly supportive for the internships that the students find. Since the students have to find their internships, it depends on their performance. The percentage of the students who go for the internships varies since getting an internship completely on own efforts is difficult.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure. The labs are well-equipped. One can find all sorts of equipment for the department of aeronautical engineering. It has a separate building for the library which is named as PK Das knowledge fort. It has a good number of books and also provides the internet facilities. The medical issues are also taken care of. There is a special room for the medical treatments which is given by an experienced nurse who lives in the hostel inside the campus. The hostel rooms are spacious and clean. The bathrooms are well maintained and are kept clean. Apart from the hostel mess, the campus has several canteens which provide food at affordable price. The canteen areas are very clean. A separate department has been set up for the physical education which trains the interested students in various games and sports. Separate courts are also available for different sports. I didn't face any infrastructure related issues during my college tenure.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and very helpful. I always found them motivating. Every department has 5-7 PhD holders, and others have ME or MTech degrees. The classes are regular, and apart from the routine classroom teaching, the powerpoint presentations are also done. In the department of aeronautical engineering, many concepts are explained using the Cessna aircraft placed in the hangar. The student to faculty ratio is 40:1. The students are taken for the industrial visits. We were taken to HAL, Bangalore division for the industrial visits. The students were also taken to ISRO, Sriharikota for the visits. The course curriculum is changed with the requirements. The course structure is well organised. It was really helpful.
Other: The college conducts several events, symposiums, seminars and fests for the students. The guests are even called from other countries to address the students. The scholarship is offered to the meritorious students. The best thing about the college is its location. It is located on the outskirts of the city due to which it is very calm and serene. It has a huge campus which is well maintained and is covered with trees. Polythene is banned inside the campus which makes it eco-friendly.
