    The BTech Mechanical Engineering syllabus is not the same across all colleges, as every college committee sets a particular coursework pattern at the start of every academic year to be followed for the respective batch. The syllabus includes some core subjects, interesting electives, and lab work that gives detailed knowledge to the students about the workings of the field.

    Q:   Is the BTech CSE syllabus the same across all colleges?

    The BTech CSE syllabus differs on the basis of the college offering the course. Every college follows a particular coursework pattern set by the college committee. Though the subjects might vary, the overall conceptual framework is more or less similar for students to get hold of the important concepts of the CSE field.

    The syllabus includes core subjects, elective subject choices, practical lab work, workshops, and a final year research project.

    The average BTech CSE salary for graduates in India can range between INR 4 LPA and INR 12 LPA. The scope of the BTech CSE programme in India is excellent and hence the starting salary packages offered by recruiters are also high as compared to some other engineering courses.

    The salary depends on factors like the years of experience you hold, your academic qualification, skill set, etc. Once you enter the industry and get some years of experience in hand, you will get a higher salary package.     It is a good college in West Bengal.
    Placements: Around 85% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is around 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.25 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 5.5 LPA - 7.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, and Tech Mahindra. Around 65% of students got internships from companies.
    Infrastructure: Facilities are very good. Weekly workshops and seminars are conducted, and it is optional to attend them. The infrastructure is outstanding here. The library has all the books, and the Wi-Fi is top-notch. The food served in the hostel is good. Medical facilities are excellent and available 24x7. You will get a proper gym, a swimming pool, basketball court, table tennis, cricket and football grounds, and a big cafeteria.
    Faculty: Our college follows the syllabus provided by MAKAUT, which is updated with new programming languages like Python, OOPS, and Java. The college conducts 4 tests before final-semester examinations, which would help students to increase their marks in semester results. Faculty members in our college are very liberal while giving marks.

    Infrastructure: The college has four hostels, 1 for 1st year students, 1 for marine, 1 for 2nd year students, 3rd and 4th-year students, and the other one for girls. The hostel rooms are huge, with 2 students in each room. The hostel is easy to get as it is on the campus. The fee charges are Rs. 25,000 per semester.
    Faculty: Teachers in our college are friendly. You can ask for any help, and you will surely get it. They are very well-qualified in their respective subjects. Students need to listen to the way they teach, and success awaits. Teachers are very helpful, be it academic problems or others.
    Other: Joining this college with a scholarship is better than joining it without a scholarship, as the fee is very high.

    It is an excellent college with good faculty members.
    Placements: Placements are good enough. But you have to be very skilled. Because companies like TCS, WIPRO, COGNIZANT, INFOSYS, etc. come for interviews. Mock interview session is also held in college many times before any interview. Note that infosys has a MOU with the college which is a very good thing.
    Infrastructure: This is a college where many courses are available like Computer Science and engineering, electronics and communication, agriculture, physiotherapy, robotics engineering, hospitality and hospital management, law, marine engineering, nautical Science etc. As far as it is the matter of gender ratio, agriculture comes with a very nice gender ratio of 1:2. When it comes to CSE, ECE gender ratio is little poor. While there are only boys in marine engineering and nautical Science. Coming to sports facilities, this is good enough. Basketball, volleyball and cricket are those outdoor games which can be your best sports here. Several basketball courts are there and also a big cricket ground with a nice pitch. Badminton courts are also available outside each hostel. Labs are also in very good condition. Specially computer labs are well-equipped with new computer systems and all security majors. Well defined and separate labs are also available for different subjects in agriculture. Physics electrical and Chemistry labs are also well maintained and contains all the required apparatus in excellent working conditions.
    Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and they are pleased to guide all the students. They provide us a good knowledge of every subject and curriculum. The semester exams are average that is enough for being trained yourself as an engineer. This course is very relevant for CSE students.
    Other: Technical and cultural fests are held every year. Our college conducts a technical fest named Parikalpana in an odd semester, and Sankalp named fest in the even semester. Any student can participate in these events irrespective of their course. The cultural fest is an inter-college fest, and students from many colleges participate here. The technical fest is an inter-college fest.

    Placement was good before. It's not the best college in WB, you can check other colleges.
    Placements: Only by working hard will you be able to get a job in a company. Internships are available, and approximately 40% of students are placed, with the remainder continuing their education. The majority of jobs are for salespeople in companies such as TCS, INFOSYS, and IBM.
    Infrastructure: There are numerous courses available for students in every field of study, including medical, commerce, and marine. Because the hostel fee is expensive, half of the students live outside of the college in a neighbourhood known as Sarisha. The library is terrible; the books are even older than my grandfather.
    Faculty: Some teachers are excellent, while others are bad. I'm not sure how they get to be professors. My school teachers are far superior to them. Semester exams are good because they truly test your knowledge and skills. Labs are useless because the machines are too old, but Wi-Fi is available.
    Other: There are lots of problems in the college.

    This is a very good college.
    Placements: Total 80% students get job on campus in 2022. The highest package is 8 LPA and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. Students get job in Accenture, TCS, cognizant, Wipro. There is no ragging. Also seniors are helpful. Professors also help to make any project.
    Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi in whole campus. And various types of books are there. College foods is very good. Here we have sports hall. Annually every year college organize sports programme. Hostel quality is also good. We have separate hostel for every year.
    Faculty: Teacher are qualified and help full. All are ready for job. All students passed the semester with good percentage. At the time of semester all rooms are surveyed by principal with CCTV. You have to study otherwise it becomes very hard to pass.
    Other: I am very interested about this course.

    Infrastructure: The college has four hostels, 1 for 1st year, 1 for marine, 1 for 2nd, 3rd and 4th-year students and the other one is for girls. The hostel rooms are huge, with 2 students in each room. The hostel is easy to get as it is inside the campus. Students need to give security money of Rs. 25,000, semester hostel fees, and some easy paperwork. The campus has free Wi-Fi all over for the students to avail more information related to their course or project. The college has a big library where students can find any book related to our course. The books can be issued for the whole semester with no extra charges. The college laboratories have many types of equipment, so that the student has no trouble doing a laboratory class. The college has a huge ground, where college football and cricket teams practice every day. The college has basketball grounds both for boys and girls. New students can join any team, if they are interested. Inter-college tournaments are held every year by the college.

    At Neotia University, the employment rate could be as high as 80%. During the campus placement, B.Tech students were almost all placed, and other top students were as well. The average package costs 2.5LPA (INR), while the maximum package costs 9.5LPA (INR).
