Good infrastructure poor placements.
Placements: The placements were not as expected. The salaries offered from Infosys was 28,000 and only very few around 21 students were selected. And the others were offered pool campusing which was not as what they were asked for. They were prepared for IT and core companies and the campusing were of BPO and call centres. And the college didn't provide with any internships as well. Also didn't even recommend any place for internships.
Infrastructure: It has free Wi-Fi throughout campus. hostel facilities, classrooms, lab and libraries are very maintained. The laboratories provide many modern equipments including a robotics lab and microwave engineering lab. The CPUs has 3 basketball fields one Cricket and one football field and a swimming pool surrounded by multipurpose hall. And sport fests are conducted within the campus where different colleges come and participate.
Faculty: Faculty members are very much qualified and entertain one to one interaction. The course is as per makaut syllabus and it has its own independent university running as well with many state of the art courses. It includes biotechnology, electronics and communication and computer Science engineering under makaut. And applied psychology hospitality management robotics under their private university.
Other: Cultural fest tech fests and sports meets. Karate classes under women safety. And many others including table tennis.

The overall view of one of the best engineering and management colleges of Kolkata.
Placements: The placements were good, and almost 95% of the batch was placed. For seniors also it was the same. All kinds of companies visited the campus, and some companies were also converted as part of off-campus placements. The package offered is also good and increases each year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and the campus is huge. The campus has more than 14 hostels and 10 canteens. 5 scholastic buildings and also lush green acres of playground and park are present. Gym and swimming pool are also present for a holistic all round development of the students.
Faculty: Faculty staff belong to eminent colleges, and the course curriculum is vivid to give the students the required industry knowledge. All streams like electronics and communication, computer science, biotechnology, mechanical, information technology, etc. are the courses offered by the college.
Other: The college is located on the outskirts of Kolkata and is 20 mins drive from IIM Joka towards Diamond Harbour. It's a residential as well as day scholar college and now offers management courses as well. The college organises inter-college and intra-college events and fests.
