Yes, NIELIT Itanagar conducts an entrance exam for admission to DOEACC O Level course. The NIELIT exam is conducted every year for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses under the titles as Non-Formal Courses. Selected aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the institute.

Candidates need to pass a minimum of Class 12 or ITI Certificate after Class 10 to apply for NIELIT Itanagar O level course. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.

Candidates must have completed Class 12 exam from Central Board of Secondary Education or any other equivalent examination recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University (including Vocational Course) to get admission in the BCA programme.
