Hostel and college life at NIMS College of Paramedical Technology, NIMS University.
Placements: Placements are given in the NIMS Hospital, Jaipur after completing the course but not everyone gets the placements. Salary varies on the basis of experience and work. The 1-year internship is compulsory in degree courses. 10% of students get placements. It provides good work opportunities.
Infrastructure: Labs are advanced with full equipment. It provides a projector in classrooms for better study. The hostel is very good with 1 almirah, 1 bed with mattress, 1 study table and chair. 2, 3, and 1-sharing rooms are available with AC and non-AC rooms. Mess included in the hostel serves 4 times meals ( breakfast, lunch, bunch, and dinner). The mess menu changes weekly. Food quality is good and students can refill the late.
Faculty: Faculty members are supportive and well-educated. They give guidance when needed. Competitions and seminars are held for better study. Exams are on a yearly basis (external exams), and 3-4 internal exams are taken in 1 year. 35 is the passing mark out of 100. Clinical guidance is also given by the hospital staff
Other: I chose this university because of my hospital experience and its fame. Scholarship is also given by the university on the base of the entrance exam. Cultural and sports activities are also held regularly at the university. Spardha is a gaming competition, which is held every year in the university where all colleges of the university participate.
