NIT Agartala Ph.D. Highlights 2023

The phD programme is available in full-time as well as part-time mode. The admission process for PhD programmes is conducted twice a year i.e. in the month of January and July. Admission to PhD programme will be based on the valid GATE/ NET score. GATE scores are accepted for Engineering specialisations in PhD whereas NET scores are for non-Engineering specialisations. Very much satisfied with the college.

Placements: The placement of the college varies from year to year. Students are well placed in various companies as well as many students are pursuing higher studies. Many students have taken up internships in India as well as abroad both in educational as well as industries.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good with all the facilities available in the campus. The classrooms are well arranged. Good hostel rooms. There were some problems in infrastructure which have been sorted out now. However the laboratories have to be more developed for taking up research work as priority.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching techniques adopted by the teachers are well organized and understandable by the students. There is ample opportunity for the students to get industrial exposure in terms of some visit or internships. The course curriculum that is followed covers all the areas in the subjects from basic to advanced.
