NIT Nagaland is among the newly established NITs in the northeast region. It managed to secure 201-250 band under Engineering category. No, you can not get into NIT Nagaland's BTech programme without having appeared in JEE Mains. The main selection criteria of the course is scores obtained in the JEE Mains exam only, hence, admission without it is not possible. Participating in the JoSAA counselling is also necessary.
