Pros and cons of the college.

Faculty: Professors have good experience with Certificates of Excellence in the profession of teaching, while assistant professors have a little bit of experience but provide good guidance to the students till the completion of the course. Also, they are learning technical skills from the professors, just like the students.

Master of Science in Physics at Nagaland.

Faculty: Academic excellence was superb, but teachers focused more on their teaching. A few students were disappointed with their teaching. Most teachers preferred to take classes using the SMART board and avoided using blackboards. Some of them simply read the textbooks and moved on.

I am satisfied with my college.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most of them are good at teaching and provide quality education. As we know, our syllabus is not advanced according to industry standards, they will provide what they have, but you also need to put in efforts from your side. The difficulty level of exams is moderate. If you study, you will pass easily. If you start preparing one week before the exam, you will easily get good marks. 60% of the people pass easily. Most of faculty members are supp...

Great college, Great crowd and awesome college life.

Faculty: Most of professors and teachers have done their Ph.D. from prestigious institutes. They are all very knowledgeable and explain concepts and topics really well. Teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is similar to most other NITs, i.e., the same syllabus for all branches in the first semester. Though, unlike many other NITs, in the second semester, every branch gets a unique exclusive subject and practical subject. The curriculum is good and relevant. Exams aren’t that tough. Questi...

Good infrastructure and facilities with a chill semester, enough time to pursue your interest.

Faculty: Teaching quality is very good. All the teachers here are qualified and have good knowledge of their subjects. Semesters are very easy as compared to any other college. It is very easy to get pass and get good grades. In one semester, you have 1 mid-semester, 2 quizzes, 1 end-semester, and lab exams.

This college is better than I expected.

Faculty: Our faculty members are very friendly and polite. They are making it easy to achieve a CGPA of above 8.5 with just 2-3 days of studying before the exam. Exams are conducted every semester, with one mid-semester exam and one end-semester exam. Currently, I am in my first year, pursuing a degree in electronics and communication engineering.

College campus is huge and placements are also good.

Faculty: Our college faculty is very friendly and helpful. Some of them have even graduated from prestigious colleges. They always guided us through our doubts. They all are very supportive and teach us diligently so that every student can pass in semester exams. Recently, we have achieved a 70% passing percentage in the institute.

Quite an awesome academic boosting experience.

Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified as they all come from a research-oriented institute of national importance. There is quite a diversity in faculty members from across the country and they teach according to national standards. The curriculum is well updated and the students are well prepared both theoretically and practically with the top-notch laboratories and equipment in the state of Nagaland. The difficulty of the semester depends on the particular teacher as they are also the ones setting th...

Disappointed due to the faculty, but the hostel and overall environment are good.

Faculty: Faculty was not that impressive, it was not completely bad, but okay. Professors conduct classes, and Ph.D. scholars also teach some classes, but the teaching level was good. Exams were conducted very strictly, failing in regular semesters can lead to supplementary, arrear, and summer term exams to clear subjects.

Review of NIT Nagaland - National Institute of Technology.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful here. We can ask any question related to the subject without hesitation, and they will answer us. Semesters are very easy. We can pass easily since it is a grading system and the strength is also very low. The pass percentage for the semester exam is 40%.

Not so good placement for civil, but worth it for a good college experience and healthy environment.

Faculty: The teachers were good. I especially like the math teacher, though he takes too many extra classes. The exam questions are fine enough, like any other NIT. Just pray you don't get backlogged because they make it so difficult to pass. You might end up with backlogs until the sixth semester if you fail in the first semester.

Our college placements are excellent and CSE is excellent.

Faculty: Some teachers are excellent and some are better. Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Semester exams are difficult but starting with the 5th semester, the syllabus is good for civil engineers.

No, you can not get into NIT Nagaland's BTech programme without having appeared in JEE Mains. The main selection criteria of the course is scores obtained in the JEE Mains exam only, hence, admission without it is not possible. Participating in the JoSAA counselling is also necessary.
