NMIT Bangalore MTech Eligibility & Highlights 2026
Admission to MTech is offered under Management and PGCET Quota. For the MTech course, 80% of the total student intake will be filled through Karnataka PGCET and the rest 20% is filled through GATE/ Karnataka PGCET (Management Quota). Check below the eligibility, fees, seat intake and selection criteria for the MTech courses:
Total annual fee: INR 4.50 lakh (MTech Structural Engineering), INR 5 lakh (MTech Data Science), INR 4 lakh for rest of the MTech specialisations
Selection criteria: Karnataka PGCET, Karnataka PGCET/ GATE (for Management Quota)
Note: AICTE has approved 15% additional seats for foreign nationals/ PIO/ NRI/ students whose parents work in Gulf countries.

Diploma is a three-year course divided into six semesters. NMIT Bangalore offers six Diploma courses after Class 10, namely Civil Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science Engineering. Admission for Diploma is through Management Quota only.
