The North Eastern Regional Institute of Management was founded in Guwahati, Assam, in 1992. AICTE, NCTE, MHRD, & BCI have all given the North Eastern Regional Institute of Management their approval. The Institute has a dedicated Placement Cell which provides Placement Assistance to all the students enrolled in different programmes of the Institute. This includes placement after successfully completing their Masters's Programme and Concurrent field work after each semester. The Placement Officer acts as a catalyst in facilitating the process of interaction between the students and the prospective representatives of the concerned recruiting Houses. Both on-campus and off-campus interviews are arranged regularly.
