I have no complaints about our college.
Placements: In our college, almost 60% of students are placed. The lowest salary offered is Rs.15000 per month, and the highest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies visit our campus. Medical laboratory technicians are in high demand by companies because they are highly skilled.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library in this college are too good. I am very satisfied with the college. The upcoming sports are exciting. The upcoming sports are the common sports played in our society. There are both physical and mental games and opportunities.
Faculty: Teachers are truly helpful, very friendly, and highly educated. This course is very underrated. Every student must know about this great course. Exams are difficult but helpful. The pass percentage is 30%.

An Honest Review of My College.
Placements: As I know, there is no campus placement option in our course, but approximately 70 percent of our course students got placed in private sector jobs as well as government sector jobs.
The average package that's offered by both government and private sectors is 0-1.5 Lacs per annum.
There are several recruiting companies like Mankind Laboratories, Labcorp, Dr. Reddy Laboratories, etc.
100 percent of students got internships from our course in government hospitals, i.e. Nagaon Medical College and Hospital, GMC, NMC, JMC, DMCH, etc.
Specializations include Diagnosis of Clinical Pathology and Blood Banking, Microbiology, Cardiac Care Technology, Radiology Imaging Technology, Trauma Care Technology, etc.
Infrastructure: Advanced labs, library, and classrooms.
Models of human skeletons, along with autoclaves, hot air ovens, and all types of microscopes as our basic needs in microorganism interactions.
There is an indoor stadium, boys' hostel, and a canteen inside the college campus.
Faculty: Yes, all teachers are qualified and knowledgeable with respect to our course.
Teaching quality is bilingual for better understanding.
Yes, the course curriculum is pretty relevant to medical colleges.
Semester exams are tough if you do not study properly, and the pass percentage is 30 percent as per UGC guidelines.
Other: The best thing about this course is the flexibility of moving in and out, and by completing each year you get a Certificate for the course. You can get a Diploma Certificate after completing two years and get a job, and then re-enter the course at your choice.
Unrelated subjects should be removed, and only medical-related subjects should be added instead of EVS, NSS, etc.
Our college is registered for NSP scholarships.
Every year, a Freshers' Program is held, and various government programs are conducted in different months.

I loved to be a part of this future university ( Nowgong college (autonomous) to Nagaon university.
Placements: 70% of students placed. Highest average package of MLT technician ranging from 3-4.5 LPM and lowest average package of MLT technician ranging from 2-3 LPM. Top recruiting are medical College and diagnostic centers. Almost all students got internship from my college in medical Colleges in Nagaon and diagnostic centers. Top roles are lab technicians, laboratory manager.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good and wifi, labs, classrooms, library is big enough with 10000 books ( minimum). Our college has boys and girls hostels but it will be increase in future. Canteen is good enough, but I don't have enough information about hostel, because there is only one hostel for boys with limited seats which is provided to the students from long distance or other districts, so needing a hostel is quite complex for boys with near district, but quality is good, we have indoor stadium ( consists of badminton and table tennis) and other physical instruments , we don't have medical facilities within the college campus unfortunately but the medical College is near for emergency.
Faculty: Teachers of our department is so good and helpful and our results also . There is one lab for BMLT department and the practical are held there during practical class. Difficulty of exam is always depends on students efforts in studies but I think for me , it was easy to moderate for me in the sessional exam,
Other: Nowgong college is a very old college ( 1944),NAAC gave A grade , Our college got the autonomous tag in 2020 and after that nowgong college was upgraded to Nagaon university in 2023 and now known as Nagaon university but it is in progress to be fully a university, college has big auditorium and good sound system, recently our freshers gone ,and other extracurricular activities. I wish that our BMLT department should have a separate building with laboratory attached because, our classrooms are in 1st floor beside indoor stadium and the laboratory is in ground floor. The best thing about my course is , it is a job oriented 4 year undergraduate program in respective background ( medical field).
