B.E. in Information Technology - Batch of 2028
1.8
Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, bad placements, and below-average infrastructure.
Placements: No proper placement data is revealed by the college. The highest placement is around 10 LPA, and the lowest is around 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies in our college are apparently all the Fortune 500s, but I have never seen any of those companies visit here, maybe they do, and the students don’t get in. They provide an unpaid internship in their own college app development process, which doesn’t make sense, and they seek money so that we buy their course and get that unpaid internship. Top roles offered in my course are data analyst, database administration, software development engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is really bad, with no proper range. Canteen facilities are decent but could be better. The Wi-Fi in the canteen doesn’t work at all and has very low range. No proper medical facilities in college, only first aid boxes on each floor. No idea about hostel as I’m a home student. Sports events do happen in college with a variety of sports and games.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, others are arrogant and teach just for the sake of teaching. Teaching quality really depends on the teacher, some teach very well, while some teach really bad, hence students feel like skipping classes. The course curriculum is pretty relevant now due to NEP 2020 scheme implementation. I don’t know if this curriculum makes the students industry-ready yet, as they still teach pretty outdated technology. Semester exams are fairly difficult, and the pass percentage is 40 percent of total marks of that respective paper.
Other: I chose this course due to my keen interest in computers. The best thing is that we do get practical experience in labs. I wish they had better computers in the lab. Better and more passionate faculty to teach the students about the subject, less focus on theory and more on practicality. Events like Fusion, Sportivo, Maiboli, and many more happen, which are probably the only brighter side of this college. Also, we have our own hackathon called Quasar, which is a national-level hackathon. The crowd is very ambitious. The campus is not too big, and the roads are bad, full of gravel.

4.4
Good placements, decent infrastructure, and supportive faculty, but practical exposure is needed
Placements: In our batch, around 70-80% of students from Information Technology are placed. The highest package offered is around 10 LPA, the average package is 3.5-4 LPA, and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, LTI, and Accenture. About 60-70% of students got internships mainly from companies like TCS, Capgemini, and local startups. Top roles offered are software developer, system engineer, data analyst, and web develope
Infrastructure: Our department has well-equipped classrooms with projectors and a reliable Wi-Fi connection for academic use. The computer labs have updated systems with all the necessary software. The library is spacious, offering plenty of academic resources and ample study space. Hostel facilities are decent, with clean rooms and basic furniture. The mess provides average-quality food, including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, though there is room for improvement. Medical facilities include a campus clinic and emergency care. Sports grounds and indoor games are also available for students’ fitness and recreation.
Faculty: Faculty members are generally helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable in their subjects. The teaching quality is satisfactory, with some teachers using practical approaches. The curriculum is updated according to university guidelines but lacks sufficient industry exposure. Semester exams are moderately difficult and mostly theory-based, with a pass percentage of around 85-90%. Some subjects focus more on rote learning rather than practical skills.
Other: I chose Information Technology because of my interest in coding, software development, and the wide career opportunities in the IT sector. The best aspect of the course is the mix of programming, databases, and networking subjects, which build a strong foundation for placements. However, I feel there should be more focus on practical projects, industry visits, and workshops to enhance industry readiness. Our college organizes good technical events, annual festivals, and extracurricular activities. The campus crowd is friendly, and my batchmates are supportive.

My life in Padmabhushan Vasantdada Patil Pratishthan College of Engineering.
Placements: Till now, the percentage of students placed in our college is approximately 98 to 99 percent. The highest salary package offered by the college is approximately 22 LPA - 25 LPA. The top recruiting companies in our college are TCS, Capgemini and many more. We also have a placement training organisation that helps with internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: Live classrooms, Wi-Fi and libraries are well-maintained by the college. Which helps students focus on their studies as well as on sports.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and highly qualified, with many holding positions as doctors and professors. They possess knowledge not only in their subject but also in other areas which helps students make connections and stay focused. Teaching quality of the faculty members is excellent.Faculty members are very supportive and help whenever we need assistance. They also act as counselors helping students whenever they face problems.

PVPPCOE Chunnabhati Mumbai review.
Placements: In the academic year 2022–23, 99 students were placed out of a total of 118 students. Some chose to further their education, while others chose to become entrepreneurs. Infosys, Tech Mahindra, TCS Ninja, IBM, etc. are our top recruiters with the highest package of 22–23 academic as 15.6 LPA and the average is 3.5 LPA. As your college is currently NBA-verified, we are expecting better recruitment in the next academic year.
Infrastructure: Faculty members are very helpful. Considering our academics and doubts regarding any topic, students are provided with extra doubt sessions after college too if they request help. The campus could be improved, as for now, construction is going on in the campus area and the canteen can be upgraded by focusing on their food taste and appearance.
Faculty: Yes, the curriculum makes students industry-ready. Exams are not that difficult; we just need to be consistent while studying for exams and refer to faculty notes, which helps us score better. 5 external kts and 3 internal kts are allowed for the next year until the golden kt exam. If you extend 5 kts, e.g., 6 kts, you will not be eligible for next year. You will have a drop if you don't clear your kts until your golden attempt.
Other: This is one of the best course one could opt in engineering and this college is well known for this course. There are some yearly cultural college events namely Maiboli, Sportivo, etc. It has their own committee too which managers at least 1 event in 2 months all department related activities are held in this event to improve child's caliber .

I am dissatisfied due to improper timetable, bad labs and average practicals.
Placements: Last year, many students got placed with an average package of 5-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Zeus Learning, Capgemini, and many more. The training regarding the technical rounds, HR interviews, and aptitude are provided by the college before placements, but it includes charges.
Infrastructure: Not much satisfied due to poor classrooms and bad labs with older versions of Windows and 32-bit systems. Many of the practicals were not conducted last year due to older versions and system incompatibility. No Wi-Fi facility is available. Decent turf is available to play sports.
Faculty: A few faculty members are good at teaching. The practicals conducted are average. Semester exams are conducted properly, but results are declared a little bit late. The college timings are okay, but the timetable is not fixed. Lectures are not conducted as per the schedule.

Decent placements for everyone.
Placements: If you have put decent efforts towards your technical and soft skills, you are very likely to be placed. The Training and Placement Department is very helpful and assists you in the best possible way. The only downside is that the average placement is around 3-4 LPA which is not the most but if you are better than average, you can expect yourself a higher package.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very mediocre compared to other colleges in the nearby area. Other than the Seminar Hall, Training & Placement Office and Faculty Area, all the infrastructure is very old. The labs are fine and recently new devices were bought. Library is well equipped with a big collection of books but the seating area is not the fanciest. Canteen provides variety in food and is pretty satisfactory. When we talk about sports and games, there are 3 astro turfs which are mostly rented by outsiders. Students need to take permission of their respective HOD to play there which is itself a time consuming task. No idea about hostel and medical facilities.
Faculty: Not hugely impressed by the faculty. I never felt that I am getting to learn something of quality here. I spent my college years mostly studying from online sources. I would advise everyone to be a self-learner rather than being dependent on the faculty. The course curriculum was provided by the Mumbai University. Our batch was lucky as we were experiencing a brand new updated curriculum which is fairly modern and keeps up with the current and upcoming technologies. The passing percentage is less when it comes to Mathematics. If you study regularly, it will be a piece of cake for you.

I would rate 8 out of 10 for the college.
Placements: During batch 2021-2022, about 42 students got placed in Top MNCs. The salary package offered by Capgemini is 4 LPA. Our college TPO team continuously helps us to prepare for upcoming jobs and interviews. We also get a chance to witness speakers and industry experiences of previous year batches.
Infrastructure: I am a day scholar. It has a good Wi-Fi connection over the campus, with labs on each floor. There are different labs for different departments. Sports ground and exercise facility is available for physical strengthening. Sports like cricket and football are the favorite of many students.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very coordinated. They guide us not only in academics but also for an individual to grow their passion. Faculty members keep an eye on each student for their overall growth of soft skills to become industry-ready experts. Teachers and faculty members are highly experienced.
Other: I have chosen this course because I have a keen interest in technology learning. The college supports students with different caste for a scholarship. The best thing is they conduct appreciation events in academics and extracurricular activities too.

This is a good college, and also has a sports facility.
Placements: Placements are decent but this is the only college in Mumbai which has a training and placements department in which students are also involved. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. Around 20-30% of students get placed every year. Capgemini, Byju's, Accentuate, Apple, etc., are the top recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: In this college, a Wi-Fi facility is available. AV room, digital library, normal library, seminar hall, other laboratories are well furnished. For sports 3 turfs are there and two open grounds are there. The canteen is decent.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and help in every work and solve students' difficulties. The passing percentage is around 80% every year. The industrial visits make the course curriculum relevant to the course. Other activities like quiz competitions and other events excite students to study.
Other: I selected IT branch CS is also the best branch here. This college is good. Events like alumni meet, tantra, fusion, techgyanathon, etc., are held in our college. Sportivo is the event of sports which take place in our college.
