Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, bad placements, and below-average infrastructure.
Placements: No proper placement data is revealed by the college. The highest placement is around 10 LPA, and the lowest is around 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies in our college are apparently all the Fortune 500s, but I have never seen any of those companies visit here, maybe they do, and the students don’t get in. They provide an unpaid internship in their own college app development process, which doesn’t make sense, and they seek money so that we buy their course and get that unpaid internship. Top roles offered in my course are data analyst, database administration, software development engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is really bad, with no proper range. Canteen facilities are decent but could be better. The Wi-Fi in the canteen doesn’t work at all and has very low range. No proper medical facilities in college, only first aid boxes on each floor. No idea about hostel as I’m a home student. Sports events do happen in college with a variety of sports and games.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, others are arrogant and teach just for the sake of teaching. Teaching quality really depends on the teacher, some teach very well, while some teach really bad, hence students feel like skipping classes. The course curriculum is pretty relevant now due to NEP 2020 scheme implementation. I don’t know if this curriculum makes the students industry-ready yet, as they still teach pretty outdated technology. Semester exams are fairly difficult, and the pass percentage is 40 percent of total marks of that respective paper.
Other: I chose this course due to my keen interest in computers. The best thing is that we do get practical experience in labs. I wish they had better computers in the lab. Better and more passionate faculty to teach the students about the subject, less focus on theory and more on practicality. Events like Fusion, Sportivo, Maiboli, and many more happen, which are probably the only brighter side of this college. Also, we have our own hackathon called Quasar, which is a national-level hackathon. The crowd is very ambitious. The campus is not too big, and the roads are bad, full of gravel.

Good placements, decent infrastructure, and supportive faculty, but practical exposure is needed
Placements: In our batch, around 70-80% of students from Information Technology are placed. The highest package offered is around 10 LPA, the average package is 3.5-4 LPA, and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, LTI, and Accenture. About 60-70% of students got internships mainly from companies like TCS, Capgemini, and local startups. Top roles offered are software developer, system engineer, data analyst, and web develope
Infrastructure: Our department has well-equipped classrooms with projectors and a reliable Wi-Fi connection for academic use. The computer labs have updated systems with all the necessary software. The library is spacious, offering plenty of academic resources and ample study space. Hostel facilities are decent, with clean rooms and basic furniture. The mess provides average-quality food, including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, though there is room for improvement. Medical facilities include a campus clinic and emergency care. Sports grounds and indoor games are also available for students’ fitness and recreation.
Faculty: Faculty members are generally helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable in their subjects. The teaching quality is satisfactory, with some teachers using practical approaches. The curriculum is updated according to university guidelines but lacks sufficient industry exposure. Semester exams are moderately difficult and mostly theory-based, with a pass percentage of around 85-90%. Some subjects focus more on rote learning rather than practical skills.
Other: I chose Information Technology because of my interest in coding, software development, and the wide career opportunities in the IT sector. The best aspect of the course is the mix of programming, databases, and networking subjects, which build a strong foundation for placements. However, I feel there should be more focus on practical projects, industry visits, and workshops to enhance industry readiness. Our college organizes good technical events, annual festivals, and extracurricular activities. The campus crowd is friendly, and my batchmates are supportive.

I am absolutely satisfied because of the faculty members and good placements.
Placements: Placement opportunities are decent, especially for students in computer science, IT, and electronics. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and Capgemini recruited students from the campus in the past. For other branches, placement support exists but can be competitive and somewhat limited.
Infrastructure: The campus is clean and well-maintained with basic amenities. Labs are fairly equipped for practicals. The library has a good selection of textbooks and reference materials. However, the campus size is a bit limited compared to other major institutions.
Faculty: Faculty members are generally approachable and supportive. Some professors are excellent at explaining concepts and motivating students. A few others rely more on traditional methods of teaching. Overall, the quality of teaching is satisfactory.

I would highly prefer to join this college.
Placements: I am in the first-year AIML department. Students in computer engineering got placed. The highest salary package offered is 27 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies are AWS, JP Morgan and L&T. Nearly 70-60% of students got internships in companies like JP Morgan. Courses offered in the college are IT, computer engineering, artificial intelligence and machine learning, mechatronics, and ECS.
Infrastructure: The hostel has each facility. The food is nice. The only issue with the hostel is that it is far away from the college. The hostel provides good quality food for students. For residing, all facilities are available in the hostel.
Faculty: All teachers are highly qualified. They help a lot in preparing us for exams. Semesters are difficult. If we study, we can pass. All of them are very helpful towards all students. Most of them have Ph.D. degrees.
Other: I chose this course because it has high demand. The crowd is nice. All of them are friendly with each other. Events and fests in the college are amazing.

Satisfied about faculty, average placement, good infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: The placement of our college is average. The highest package goes up to 8 LPA and the median package is 4.5 LPA. Nearly 90% of students got placement in our branch. The college also provides internship offers for 3rd-year students. TCS, and IBM are some of the top recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: The facilities available at our college are good. The canteen quality can be improved a bit. The Wi-Fi connection is good. The library is spacious but lacks AC. Classrooms are not that advanced. The college has two turfs where you can play cricket and many games after college.
Faculty: The faculty of our college is good. Teachers are supportive and they always motivate us to do new things. The course curriculum is relevant to the course. They prepare students to be industry-ready. Also, the exam pattern is good; semester exams are moderate. The passing percentage is 40% in semester exams.

Yes, there are so many reasons in 2015, but the placement was not decreased; it's been average .
Placements: In Vasantdada Patil College, there are 75% of students who can be selected for placement every year. The average package in my college is 5 LPA, and the highest is 17 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Tata are coming for placement. So many companies are coming for placement .
Infrastructure: In Padmabhushan Vasantdada Patil College, there is a hostel Wi-Fi facility. The labs have very few instruments. In the college classes, the class quality is very nice. The library has 5000+ books available for reading. The infrastructure is very nice.
Faculty: In the first year, there are so many senior teachers; they always help their students. They give the best in SY and ty there are some teachers who are not senior; that's a lot of problems for students, and the teaching quality is average in college .
Other: In my career, my batch is the best batch of all the years because, in my batch, the college students are very senior.
