It is a good college with an average placement facility and good TPO team.
Placements: Around 60-70% of students get placed. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA and the lowest salary packaged offered was 2.4 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA. TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Eclinical works, etc., visit the campus. Top roles offered were as a software engineer, software developer, and network engineering.
Infrastructure: Labs were not that good. Wi-Fi facility was provided on campus, and we had huge classrooms and a good library. The quality of the hostel was good and near to the college. The quality of food served was average. Sports and games were good. Medical facilities were also provided. Metal health doctor was also available.
Faculty: We had helpful teachers, and the quality of education was average. The industry relevancy was not there need to upgrade that. Exams were not that difficult. Curriculum wise teachers helped us. The assignments were also good. At least 16 marks were to be scored in internals.
Other: Our college is connecting to alumni.

Good college with very good faculty members. Placements are average.
Placements: Placements here are average. Well-known companies visit our campus every year. Tata Communications, TCS, Cognizant, Rave technologies, Bluestar are few top companies that hire Computer engineering and Electronics and telecommunication engineering students. The average package is 4LPA and the highest package offered is 24LPA. Top roles are software engineer, Business analyst etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is above average with many facilities like Wi-Fi, Sports room, Spacious classrooms equipped with projectors are there. Canteen is big and clean. Library is good with collection of different books on various domains. Auditorium is big and many events take place there. Overall infrastructure is satisfactory with all basic facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful here. Leaving 1-2 faculty all have very vast experience in the field or subject which they teach. Course curriculum I think should change and it should become more practical which will make students industry ready after completion of course.

Overall, I had a good experience here.
Placements: There were lots of placement opportunities in our college, and about 30% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered ranges from 10 LPA-12 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered is 1.2 LPA. Top companies which visit our college for placements were L&T, Capgemini, TCS, Amazon and Byju's. Our college provided less internships as they mainly focused on only placements.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided here include Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms and library, which were good according to the academics. The library had all kinds of books which were required during academics and future industry exposure as well. Labs were well-maintained, but some equipment didn't work properly. Apart from that, the food served in the canteen was not good due to which I got Diarrhea one day. However, other facilities were good.
Faculty: Teachers were great and really helpful here. But some teachers were not experienced in their particular fields, specifically in practical knowledge. They mostly focused on theory rather than explaining practical implementation. But the course curriculum needs to be changed because it doesn't prepare students to be industry-ready.
Other: I wish our college should teach us more with practical implementation rather than just providing boring theory lectures.

In 2017, placements were good. This college gives us a chance to improve our skills.
Placements: Last time, 250 students got placed in the campus placements. Students of 2017 batch got very good placements, and students attended interviews in many companies. Students have a little experience in the industries or any other companies. Overall, this college has the best placements record with dream offers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities in the college are the best and fabulous. Padmabhushan Vasantdada Patil Pratishthan College of Engineering is spread over 100-acres which has a beautiful atmosphere and good scenery ideally suited for technical education. It is wholly self-contained comprising of everything that students in the college would ever require.
Faculty: This college is awesome because everyone is like a family here. Our teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good, not very bad. They use real-life examples for teaching.
Other: In PVPIT College, many events are conducted for students, and they are awesome. Events conducted in the college are at the international level.

Overview about PVPPCOE, Sion by an Ex-Student.
Placements: Placements in this college is mostly for the Computer and IT sectors. There is no or least placement offered for Electronics department students. Companies such as CapGemini, TCS, PRDXN, Flipkart, etc. Hire on a large scale. Average package offered to students is 2.5-4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of this College is not so good but Satisfactory. Classrooms are not well maintained. There are cracks on the walls and fire compliant system doesnot work properly. In Computer centres some PCs are out of order while only a few PCs have Internet access. Laboratories equipments are mostly disfunctional and outdated. There are adequate Washrooms. There is a frequent watercut in the college.
Faculty: Faculty members of this college are very supportive and interactive. Very helpful in Academics and extra curricular activities. Faculty members play a Very supportive role in college sports festival. We can give a 4 stars out of 5 stars for faculty members. Engineering Courses here include Computer, IT, Electronics & Telecommunication & Electronics Engineering.
Other: College has one Intercollege festival FUSION which is techno-cultural festival held mostly in March. Other departmental festivals such as OSSILATIONS & TANTRA are also held during this period. Campus crowd is mostly Maharashtrians students. Students crowd has active participation in college festivals and activities. Campus surrounding is not good enough. It is located on a Highway between chunnabhatti wadala sion chembur & kurla area.

The college is not accredited and placements are not good. So be smart and choose wisely.
Placements: On campus placements are very less and mostly for computer and IT department. For Extc very few companies come with package of 2.4 Lacs per annum. Yes, you will get a lot of opportunities through pool campus but the completion increases and chances of getting selected decreases.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi available, Nice computer labs, Classrooms are benches are old fashioned, Library but they turned AC on, Yes, A big ground for sports but they don't allow to play before 4:00 pm, First aid box is available, There is an annual sports festival called sportivo in January month for 1 week and a techno cultural fest named FUSION in the month of March.
Faculty: From the first year to the final year, I came across a lot of faculty members and staff. Some of the teachers are very helpful and rest of them are very rude. You will definitely get a lot of assignment to write and lot of rules to follow like very ID cards everywhere when you are in campus and wear white shirt and blue pants on Monday. They never complete the syllabus except one or two teachers. If you do there work then you are good and if not then your termwork will get reduced.
Other: Sports Event- Sportivo For 1 week in January Cultural Event - Fusion for 3 days in March Oscillation and Tantra - Technical Events for 2 days in February, Campus is big and you will see everywhere construction is going on. Lots of politics for extra curricular activities, Surrounding is the worst part of college, literally nothing is nearby. Canteen is very poor. Unhygienic and oily food.

A good option for someone to stay in proper Mumbai.
Placements: Most of the eligible students got placed in better MNCs. The placement cell always made sure to help all the students with their activities of the placement process. The placement thus has become the best aspect of the college reputation. Thus allowing many students to get placed.
Infrastructure: The college has the very good infrastructure in terms of labs, playground, classrooms and the campus is provided with free Wi-Fi. The labs have very well-advanced computers for programming and other functioning. Canteen has a decent food menu with samosa pav and missal pav being the best dishes on the menu card.
Faculty: The best part of this institute is the helping nature of the faculty in terms of education as well as other personality improvements. They always stand out to help students to deal with different issues in order for the betterment of the student. Most of the time, the course gets completed within the time limit.
Other: It is the best known for its cultural fest Fusion. The another best aspect of the college is its events which allows students to portray their inner talent and also help them to groove up with the environment.

Above average. Dissatisfied with the placements in 2017-18, Good infrastructure. Average facilities.
Placements: Amazon offered the highest salary of about 12 LPA While the number of students places last year were upto 60%. Many pool campus companies offer jobs. The least package was about 1.5 LPA. Alumni events are organised. This year about 10 companies are offering internships. Companies like TCS, Capegemini, Jio, etc. Have visited the college.
Infrastructure: Averagely equipped labs. Internet is accessible in all labs. A medical facility (homeopathy), a yoga centre, a boy's common room and a girls common room, a Gymkhana, a turf for playing football and cricket, a basketball court. A canteen at the ground floor serving fat food.
Faculty: To many assignments. Average teaching qualities. Presentations are made by the teachers to explain student. One day official IVs are arranged. Workshops based on software and hardwares are also arranged. The college has their own psychologist. The student to faculty ratio is high.
Other: Technical events like tantra and oscillation followed by the cultural event called fusion. Also have IEEE events.
