Review of Padmabhushan Vasantdada Patil Pratishthan College of Engineering.

Placements: I am in my final year, and many recruiters have been here. Last year, most of the students got placed. Some got 7 LPA, and some got 3-4 LPA. Due to the conditions of Corona in 2020, there were only a few companies compared to the rather years.

Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is available on every floor of the college. A canteen is available on the campus. A library is available with a lot of books, and you can take books with the help of your ID card for 7-8 days. Many labs are available in the college.

Faculty: Our faculty members are good. Many of them are very good and guide us well. Teachers are well-qualified for every subject. But they lack practical knowledge. The curriculum followed by the college is designed by MU, and most of the colleges under MU will follow the same curriculum.

Good college if you have average marks. Placements not to be expected above 10 LPA.

Placements: The placement in the college are average and not that above average. It's almost 3-4 LPA on average. Almost all the students who are eligible for placements get recruited, but you have to maintain a good CGPA. The major recruiting companies are the mass recruiters like TCS, Capgemini and so on. Not companies like google, Microsoft, etc.

Infrastructure: Hostel is quite average. The fees for EWS students is 10000 INR and mess is good except for its rotis. The mess fees for 6 months is 27000. The locality in which it is located is not that good, i.e. Nearby Wadala. During rainy seasons it's not comfortable for travelling. The sports are good. The common room has carrom and tennis, not other games.

Faculty: The teachers are supportive and the syllabus gets completed on time. The level of teaching is not high. The internal Viva's are made tough but they give marks so no worries about that. The curriculum is the same as given by Mumbai university. The semester exams are not tough and if requested, the teachers guide us.

Other: Both the courses CSE and IT are good. I don't know much about the rest. Various fests and events are taken on time. There are 3 turfs but only one is given and for that also every time we have to write a letter to the HOD and it is given for 1 hour only.

The college has good infrastructure, experienced faculty, and also a beautiful campus.

Placements: Lots of companies are visiting my college for the placements. From them, some companies have their criteria for a job, and some companies have no criteria for their jobs. Approximately, 50-60% of the students are placed in the companies. The minimum salary offered was in the range of 1.8 to 4.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The labs, classrooms, and library are built well-maintained, and they clean every day. The medical facility is available. Sports events take place in my college. My college canteen food is good and testy. All types of foods are available in canteen such as samosa, uttapam, idli sambar, dosa, etc. The hostel rooms are clean. In one room, the maximum of three students can stay. In the hostel, the Wi-Fi facility is available.

Faculty: Our faculty members are good, and they have extreme knowledge about the subject they have to teach. They have good experienced. Around 60% of the faculty members have 25-30 years experience. The teaching method of them is effective, and when required they use a projector. They have good interaction with us and also ask some questions when they teach.

Other: Lots are events take place in the college. "NIRMITI" is the big event, and this event is a national level event. Lots of entries are coming for this events. Approximately, 1,000 entries are coming for NIRMITI. All the departments have their separate state level events.
