B.Tech in Mechatronics Engineering - Batch of 2028
3.8

It is an average, supportive college.
Placements: I don't know exactly about placements. But my seniors tell me that placements are decent, with average packages around 4–5 LPA and the highest going up to 8–10 LPA. The college arranges internships and sessions for student preparation, but in the end, it depends on the individual.
Infrastructure: The campus is not very large, but the infrastructure for the Mechatronics department is decent. The classrooms have projectors and labs with enough equipment. There is a volleyball court and a turf for football and cricket. However, some classrooms are not very good, as the projectors are not working and only 1–2 classrooms have AC.
Faculty: Faculty of the Mechatronics department is supportive and highly qualified in core subjects, with well-experienced staff. However, as Mechatronics is a new branch, faculty is not very well-versed in fields like AI, IoT, etc. Students must take their interest to study and learn about these subjects for an upper hand.
Other: As I am interested in robotics, AI, ML, etc., I find Mechatronics a great choice for me. The crowd is friendly, chill, and cooperative. Most students are from Mumbai and nearby districts. Improvements needed in my Mechatronics department include a dedicated lab for robotics and more faculty for a better understanding of new subjects.

PVPPCOE Chunnabhati, Mumbai.
Placements: In our college Vasantdada Patil College of Engineering, placement is not too good, but the highest package offered is 32 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Our top recruiting companies are Flipkart, Infosys, TCS, etc. But the problem is, if 500 students participate in the placement programme, only 200 students get placement and offer letters. The top roles offered in our college are data analytics, software developed, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not too good, but the labs are present in our college. Wi-Fi is not good, and infrastructure for our department is okay, not too good. The quality of hostels is not good, so I left the hostel and now live in my rental flat. A mess is also available in our college, and the food is very good. For sports, a turf is available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and very understanding. Main thing is that the teaching quality is not too good but okay. Course curriculum is relevant and helps students get ready for interviews and gain industry-level knowledge. If students are good at studies, then nothing will be difficult.
Other: Because I love technology and roots.
