Great faculty, good infrastructure but less than satisfactory placements for the 2016 B Tech batch.

Placements: For final placements, few companies visited the campus. Various online exams like Cocubes and Amcat were conducted by the college authorities to increase off campus placement opportunities for students. Finally the companies where people were placed in are Mindtree, Capgemini, Collabera, Broadsoft and Pathpartner. Average CTC was around 3-4 LPA. Around one-fourth of the 2016 was placed.Roles were mainly Engineer Trainee, Software Developer. Internships were not provided by the college but they had tie up with institutes like Salt Lake Institute of Engineering and Management which provides internship to students.This helped students to undergo internships smoothly without having to search a lot for the same.

Infrastructure: Classrooms were spacious with two air conditioners per class. Library is small but you will find all your B.Tech related books there itself. For any extra material you might have to refer someplace else. Campus is surrounded with huge fields, so if you love playing sports this campus will be heaven for you. Computer labs were good with up to date software but electrical and electronic labs were not equipped with the latest equipments. We had a single canteen which served non vegetarian food in the campus. Food was cheap and tasty. One doctor was available on call for the students in the campus but was not of much help. A stationery shop right next to the college had all the items a student might need and thus you didn't need to step outside the campus for your needs.

Faculty: Teachers in the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department were approachable and friendly. They were regular to lectures, taught in a stimulating way. Every teacher knew almost every student by his/her name and thus everyone's performance in the class was mapped closely by the faculty. You could visit the staff rooms after class to get your doubts cleared and all the teachers would do so graciously. Teachers strictly adhered to deadlines related to lab work submission.
