One of the best colleges in Kolkata.
Placements: More than 90% of students got placed from our course. The average package is above 5 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. Nearly 100% of students got internships from our courses. The top roles offered are data scientist, junior web developer, and many more.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are very good for our courses. Wi-Fi labs are available. There is a good atmosphere in the classroom. There is no hostel facility in this college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-educated. All the teachers hold a Ph.D. degree. Teachers are very helpful and friendly to the students. Teaching quality is also top-notch. This course is relevant to the students and makes them ready for industrial work. Nearly all the students pass the college exams.

Life at Techno Main Salt Lake.
Placements: Recently, around 40 companies visited campus for job roles like machine learning analyst positions. Company are like TCS, HCL, Fractal, EY, IBM, and many more. The minimum package is about 2 LPA and the average package is about 4 LPA and the highest package is about 10 LPA. In 2024, 60% of students got placed.
Infrastructure: Techno Main Salt Lake does not provide any accommodation facility to the students but students can rent PGs in nearby areas. There are many PG or rental flats available in nearby areas. The campus is spread over approximately 3 acres. The institute has well-furnished and spacious classrooms. Laboratories are available for various departments with computers and high-speed internet.
Faculty: The CSE faculty members at TMSL are highly qualified and include Ph.D. holders researchers. All faculty members are highly skilled in problem-solving and research guidance. The teaching modes used in the institute are blackboard and PPTs. They are very much supportive. There are a total of 8 semesters in each semester there are 4 CA and 1 end semester exam. Semester exams are moderate.

Techno Main Salt Lake: Knowledge with fun.
Placements: My course is B.Tech in computer science and engineering. Approximately, 85% of students were placed last year from CSE branch. The highest package was 67 LPA and the lowest was 3 LPA last year. Top companies that visits our college are Amazon, Flipkart, Wipro, etc., and many new startup companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of my college is very good. There is library, different subject labs, and digitalized classroom in the college. We have Wi-Fi available on every floor of the college. Sports and games facilities of the college is good. College conducts many sports programs.
Faculty: Faculty members of the college are good, well-qualified, knowledgeable and helpful. They also motivates students and focus on their practical life. Course curriculum is very relevant for the future. Semester exams are difficult but if anyone works hard then they can score good marks.

It is the 5th best college in case of campus campus life and placements in West Bengal.
Placements: Approximately 93% of students get placed in the CSE branch. The average package for the CSE branch of our college is around 6 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, etc., provide internships to 90% of students from our college, as it is surrounded by companies like TCS, Wipro, and many other IT companies.
Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure, it is not as good compared to other state colleges, but West Bengal, infrastructure is comparatively better. It does not have hostel facilities, but the college is good because it is in an IT hub. Sports facilities are better than other colleges.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They explain concepts many times until we understand them. The course curriculum is relevant. The semester paper is moderately hard, but it is easy to pass the whole paper. The passing percentage at our college is 40.
Other: I have chosen this course because it offers a lot of opportunities to get settled in life, and I chose this college because it is in an IT hub, which helps with placements. I think everything is okay for what a student needs, it's not the best, but it's better. Many events are organized by our college, such as the Startup Skill (ICC), which is organized by different club members. Extracurricular activities are also conducted by our college. If you're good at something, you are given a chance to improve it. The campus is small but better than other colleges in West Bengal.

Techno main Salt Lake : The Hub of Education .
Placements: About 90 percent of the students are placed every year. Last year, the highest package was 47 LPA. Some companies like Wipro and TCS came for mass recruitment, but some big companies also came for good placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good enough. The college provides a good Wi-Fi connection to all students, and the college has many clean classrooms and a library. Different labs are available for different subjects, such as Physics lab, Electrical lab, Chemistry lab, etc.
Faculty: The faculty members are awesome. They have highly qualified degrees and are very knowledgeable, too. They are very helpful; they always focus on students' improvement and try to develop practical knowledge and thinking. Semester examinations are conducted by MAKAUT, so the difficulty level is moderate, neither hard nor easy.

Yes, one can opt for branch change in second year based on his/her score in first year but in the same college only. First year is common for all branches, transfer to another branch is not a problem. You can change the branch in any college but also check the college norms.
