Review of Adamas University for the B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering course.
Placements: The highest package offered in the last year batch was 32 LPA, and the lowest package was 3.5 LPA. The average package was 6.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, etc. About 70% of students got internships. Roles offered in the course are data analyst, frontend and backend developers, devops engineers, etc.
Infrastructure: The computer science and engineering (CSE) department is well-equipped with modern infrastructure and above-average internet speed. Labs need to be improved, but computer labs are very nice. Some classrooms are very good, and some are of average level. The library is fantastic. The hostel rooms are good. The quality of the food is quite nice. Medical facilities are not the best and need to be improved. There are tons of sports and games going around on the campus, and it is playful.
Faculty: Faculty members of the computer science and engineering are well-qualified. Many professors hold M.Tech degrees or are PhD holders. They are very knowledgeable, and they teach very well. The course curriculum is very relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not very hard. Students just need to study casually, and they can score good marks with ease.
Other: I am a B.Tech computer science and engineering student from the 2024-2028 batch. My course is one of the most popular courses, with a strong foundation of coding and other co-curriculum activities, like dancing, singing, etc., so I chose it.

It has really good infrastructure.
Placements: Most of the students got placed. Almost 75% of students get placed. The highest package is 1 crore per annum. The lowest package is 1.2 LPA, and the average package is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Juspay, OneBanc, etc. 85% of students got internships at Vvraio. The quality analyst role is a demanding job nowadays. It is a big opportunity for everyone.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good for those who want to self-study. In the hostel, the food quality is good. It has a neat and clean infrastructure with 24x7 medical facilities. Students need to get permission to go outside because of security, which is perfect for hostellers.
Faculty: Their teaching quality is more than enough. The course curriculum is relevant, and they try to make students industry-ready. In the exam, it's tricky but not hard. Faculty members also help us. 35% is needed to qualify in semester exams. Faculty members also help students to get qualified marks in exams.
Other: I like computer science, so I chose this course. It should add more weight to industrial work. Our college is perfect for events, fests, campus crowd, connectivity, scholarship, extracurricular activities, etc.

The last year's placements were good, but I have no idea about the upcoming year's placements.
Placements: Mainly, the number of students placed last year was not published by Adamas University officials. The highest package was 18 Lacs last year, and the average was 4.5 Lacs. Mainly, Infosys, Amazon, IBM, Deloitte, TCS, HCL, and Wipro came here for placements. Many students, almost above 60%, got internships from our course in Infosys, and IBM. Even the companies pay stipends, like Amazon, TCS, and HCL, which pay up to Rs. 20k stipend per month.
Infrastructure: Faculty members are good, but there are a few new facilities, which are troublesome for students. The teachers really teach well and carefully. Wi-Fi, labs, Library all facilities are available here. There are two different libraries: one in the main building and another in the law building. Teachers take labs seriously. The hostel food is not so good at all; it is better to stay outside. There is a pharmacy center for students, which is situated near the girls' hostel. There is a gym and 3-4 playgrounds. Students can play badminton, basketball, football, and cricket here.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful; most of them are qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good, especially for CSE students. Students should research on their own to be industry-ready, though there are many opportunities here to explore themselves. Semester exam papers are really standard and don't expect much because you will face very strict guards. A minimum of 18 marks in theory and 18 marks in practicals should be scored to pass.
Other: Here, mainly the CSE course is a well-known course, as there are many facilities and you can participate in hackathons and many contests happening every year. It will be better if there are more experienced teachers in programming classes. Every year, there is a big event named Adinova, which happens and except it, there are Agomoni, Holi, Christmas celebrations, and food festivals. Many sports tournaments happen every year. Swami Vivekanand scholarships are available for students scoring above 60% marks.

Adamas University is a reputable institute in West Bengal and is accredited by both NAAC and UGC.
Placements: Our college is better than most other colleges in terms of placements. Companies like Wipro, Cipla, Cognizant, Byju's, and TCS visit the college for placements. The average package offered ranges from 1.5-10 LPA. Many students also get internships, which increases the chances of getting placed.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is present indoors and in the library. Most of the classrooms are air-conditioned. The CS lab is equipped with both Macs and PCs. The engineering workshop is equipped with most of the equipment and is used with proper safety precautions taken into action.
Faculty: Knowledgeable faculty members are available here. In the engineering department, exams are of 2 types like class tests and end-semester exams. There are no mid-semester exams. The course curriculum is at par with other universities, alongside which some important courses are also taught as part of the curriculum.

Really dissatisfied mainly because of the unapproachable faculty. Campus is good.
Placements: My seniors have been offered roles like data analyst, stack developer, etc., mostly in companies like SMC Finance etc. Some of them are struggling badly, though. Most of them take a one-year gap after graduating. Also, if a particular faculty has a grudge against you, he/she will make sure you don’t get placed, no matter how good a student you are.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi doesn’t work. Food is sometimes good, but most of the time it’s bad. The hostel environment is not that good; it feels like a jail. They don’t even allow you to go out in the middle of the day for an emergency. There is a long list of formalities they make us go through, even during the day, even if there is an urgent emergency to go out.
Faculty: The teachers are mostly approachable. They may be knowledgeable, but students generally can’t approach them due to fear. Some teachers are really good though, but mostly, the good teachers are bound to resign because of the intense pressure our Computer Science HOD (now Dean of Engineering) imposes on faculty members.
Other: I chose this course mostly keeping in mind my interest in the subject and the opportunities I might be exposed to. The course curriculum is good and up to the mark. I wouldn’t change the course content, but I would do everything to improve the facilities related to teaching us. We don’t understand most of the material taught, and if a doubt is asked, they never answer things directly. Also, the topics that come in the exams aren’t even taught in class. We have to rely on YouTube the whole year.

Anand International College of Engineering, Manipal, LNMIT, SKIT, etc. These provide placement oriented education and have excellent infrastructure. So in my opinion, yo
