The best facility and infrastructure in Patna.

Placements: Hello, I am a final year student at Patna Women's College. To be honest, do not expect million dollar companies to recruit you on campus. But yes, the placements here are decent. The highest package went to 7,00,000 p. a. whereas the average package was around 2,50,000 p. a. The lowest package was around 85,000 p. A. The recruiting companies are Lupin, Claris Otsuka, Vish International, ARS agencies, Medbag. In, etc. That hire the students for the role of Medical Representative, Lab Technician, Chemist Trainee, Medical Sales Representative, etc. In the 3rd year, all the students are sent to AIIMS Patna for internship work to get industrial exposure. Also, students take up additional internships in companies like Lupin, Phoenix Medical Systems Pvt. Ltd, ARS Agencies, etc.

Infrastructure: I would rate it 5 stars for the infrastructure because it is worth it. The labs are highly equipped with the latest technology equipment needed for regular practice and research work. UV room attracted me the most but there is plenty of other equipment to draw your attention like Centrifuge, Laminar Air Flow, Hot Air Ovens, Incubators, Autoclave, etc. There is free Wi-Fi on the college campus which can be used in the study room where mobile phones are allowed. There is a departmental library specifically for the students of Microbiology where one can find all the relevant books from the curriculum and a highly equipped Central library for all the departments. The central library has a collection of books from different domains in addition to an E-Library where you can get access to all the books on the desktop. The classrooms are large and aerated but it becomes really hot in summers. Coming to college Hostel- I would personally not recommend taking it because the rules are too strict. The hostelers are not allowed to step out of the campus at any cost; mobile phones are given only for a specified duration of the day for 1-2 hours after which the warden seizes it. IT can be a good fit for you if you are a spoilt child and want a disciplined life! Coming to the pros- the food provided by the mess is really amazing, there are regular programs held every second day and hostelers are given an edge of course. The medical facilities are provided for free in the heath center. A doctor is always available for first aid and emergency cases during sports events as well as regular days. The sports and games include table tennis, kho, basketball, volleyball, Cricket, taekwondo, chess, carrom board, etc. Sports day is organized every year on a grand scale where different competitions have held that stretch for a month-long. Also, interested students are trained for basketball and taekwondo.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers are qualified and knowledgeable but very strict at the same time. They are helpful but get prepared for a good amount of scolding before entering the staffroom or the laboratory store. Overall, the teaching style is very easy to understand because the teachers always start from the basics. The curriculum is designed in such a way that it prepares the students to become industry-ready. More emphasis is laid on practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge. There are 6 semesters throughout the course. It can be ranked as easy to moderate in the difficulty level. Therefore, the passing percentage is around 80%. More students fail due to a shortage of attendance which is a major issue. One must maintain at least 75% attendance in each paper to be eligible to sit for the semester examination.

Our college is quite good in terms of study, but average in terms of fees.

Placements: Our college doesn't provide placements. There are departments which offer placements, but placements are not offered for this course. Our college only provides permission to do training in various industries and training centres. Microbiology has job perspectives after masters mostly but not always. Our college only provides masters degree but doesn't provide placements.

Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are well orientated here. The department library is very helpful and also the central library. The library has all the books needed. The hostel maintains the discipline highly and follows it strictly. The hostel has rules and regulations regarding wearing dresses, and they don't allow to study after 10 pm. None of the students shouldn't go out of the hostel without parents.

Faculty: Teachers here are well-equipped, and they all have qualifications of NET, JRF and PhD. Their teaching quality is good. Our college also provides opportunities to write research papers and involve in numerous extra activities. Our college is considered to be the best college of Bihar, Patna. The course curriculum makes students ever ready for the industry. The syllabus is more than enough to go further for competitions.

Other: I chose this course as it's job-oriented. I want to opt for research fields.

Overall, Patna University is average.

Placements: The packages are very bad, and I think it should be improved. However, my friends and I enjoyed this. We passed with 90% marks. But you need to spend time for your studies. The teachers will help you but not as expected. However, everything will be okay if you can obtain a good percentage.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available. We were not allowed to use private Wi-Fi of college. They don't tell us the ID and password of SSID. However, you can use your own internet. Hostel quality is average.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, and they help us with difficult questions, but they never give us answers. Industrial visits are organised. The exams are fun and not difficult for me. The pass percentage is amazing.

Absolutely satisfied because of the placements. The infrastructure is really good.

Placements: An average of 70 to 75 per cent of students were placed. Around 50 per cent of students got internships in my course in my college.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good in this university. The classrooms are good. Wi-Fi are really fantastic and also the mess is average. Medical facilities are good and there are many sports to play, including cricket, football, etc.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching is quality and also, they solve all the problems. The teachers teaching style is really fantastic. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant and it makes the students industry-ready.

College is in city reach. It is run by the government of Bihar.

Placements: Approximately 90% student passed in my batch. Above 70 to 80% students got scholarship. This college is for all type of students means, all the sections of the society. But this college wants above 70% attendance.

Infrastructure: College is very large with a big campus. It is all laboratory like physics chemistry and biology lab. All teachers are nice to the students and the principal is very good. The college is in the banks of Ganga in Patna. It is behind the Gandhi maidan.

Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful and friendly with students. All the teachers are qualified and more talented. Some teachers have done masters degree and some are doctors. They are appointed by the government.

Other: I am interested in mathematics and Science so I chose this course.
