My review of Pondicherry University - Port Blair Campus.
Placements: We had placement opportunities available in this college. Students were placed in good companies if they had strong skills. The packages offered in my department ranged from the highest at 14 LPA to the lowest at 1.8 LPA, with an average of 4.7 LPA. Companies included TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Microsoft, Amazon, Tesla, Flipkart, Tata, TEA, and Tech Mahindra visited our campus.
Infrastructure: Facilities available in my college. It included classrooms, a library, labs, games, playgrounds, transport, a canteen, a bookstore, a mess, hostels, and food. The quality of these facilities was average. The food quality was healthy and good. The college infrastructure was beautiful, with trees and buildings painted in vibrant colors.
Faculty: Faculty members were available to students to clear doubts, and the quality of their teaching style was good and understandable. Semester exams were written well by students who prepared with concentration and focus. The pass percentage in my department was 60 percent. This helped students become industry-ready with course-related subjects.

Very good college for Marine Biology
Placements: There is no placement cell designed for marine Biology students on our campus but many private agencies and companies hire our students they get an interview and if selected placed, as compared to other universities we have the best faculty and students definitely get much knowledge and are mostly self talent, a student passed out from Andaman campus can definitely get placed or else he can have his own startup or he/she may get into Ph.D. for a doctorate most of my seniors are doing Ph.D. in various institutes that's what I know.
Infrastructure: As compared to the mainland facilities, in Andaman, they are adequate, everything is a little costlier than the mainland, coming to our department: department of ocean studies and marine Biology well-equipped with various practical instruments and all, we have an exquisite campus; it is the perfect blend of ecosystems for a marine biologist to learn and do research; we have corals, beeches, seaweed ecosystem and different vegetation, just like everything in one place is our Andaman campus. We have a Wi-Fi facility in our campus and hostels; we have labs, classrooms are very well mostly we involved in practicals as it's a practical subject we roam and see a good deal of flora and fauna around and we have a comprehensive library over here there are thousands of books and with a student library card, one can be allowed. Facilities in hostels are very good, very good infrastructure everything is well-equipped with good interior, quality of food is good, everyone will have unique tastes but one must adjust and be adaptive to the surrounding, little bit problem with the freshwater facility, it's limited we have to use it properly, we have a first aid facility, a shuttle court is between hostels so that we can play, no big ground or something like that to play cricket and all.
Faculty: Teachers are most experienced, it's the central university so you can imagine how much talented and well-educated teachers they choose, you can see their experience and research they did from Pondicherry university, teaching is very well, we have projection classes also. Look study and work is totally different, our university teaches well, gives knowledge, teaches practicals everything up to the mark, coming to industrial work it's a skilled work so if the training is provided to the students, then they can learn quickly. Mostly it's like we have subject knowledge and we can put it into work unless we start it practically.
Other: For a graduate with B.Sc fisheries or B.Sc aquaculture, we have fewer central universities and good scope, so I can say that we have fewer options, so I chose the best and another thing is one must move with their passion right, I'm very much interested in research, oceans are the source of food, future for humankind, only 20% of it is discovered yet, so I'm going in that way. Marine biology is a research orient course so if placements are provided directly after the post-graduation, then it's a good opportunity for employment, but one must not only think in that way its research-oriented so it's good one for those who work hard and discover more We have many events, every festival is celebrated, freshers and farewells are also planned.
