Overall, the college is very good.

Placements: 90 per cent of students are placed in my course. 40 LPA is the highest, 7 LPA is the lowest, and 9 to 10 LPA is the average package for my course. Amazon, Autodesk, Flipkart, etc., are top recruiting companies. 90 per cent of students got internships for my course and at Amazon, Tech Mahindra are companies.

Infrastructure: The facilities available in my course are very good, like Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms. The library in our college is very good and the book facilities are like research, articles, programming and coding books, etc. The quality of food is good in our hostel. In the hostel, there are medical facilities, a Gym, indoor games, etc.

Faculty: The teachers are very friendly towards students, and they are well-educated. The teaching quality is good, and they are explaining with real-world examples. The course curriculum is totally relevant to the IT sector. The curriculum courses are very similar to IT, and the students are ready for industry interviews. The semester exams are not very difficult, but somewhat difficult. The pass percentage is 40%.

Other: I chose this course because I really love this course to learn, while learning we experience some new things towards the IT industry. The internet facilities are sometimes down, try to solve it. At our college, the cultural events are done in a very traditional way.

Pragati Engineering College - Honest review.

Placements: Our college claims to have decent placement offers. 1026 are the placements secured by Pragati students in the year 2024. We also get internships from many companies with a decent stipend amount. The highest package is 34 LPA. The average package is 2.60 LPA. TCS is the top recruiting company for our college.

Infrastructure: For a college that claims to be so prominent and has an average infrastructure. The college can be improved on the ground level. Level up few buildings or better another entirely new structure. There is a free Wi-Fi facility. Labs are also available. There is a central library available at fixed times. There is a college dispensary with help available all the time. The canteen food depends on time, sometimes it is good and sometimes it is not. Hostels do not have AC so you can imagine what it is like in the summer season.

Faculty: While few faculty members are rude and subjective, few are very compassionate and friendly. The course curriculum is apt for what needs to be learned by an IT developer. They provide enough knowledge that help in securing a good job. Semester exams are moderate though few papers vary their level of difficulty. Pass mark is 28 for 70 marks in the semester. We have 2 mids for each semester. Each mid carries 15 marks and 2 mids caries 15+15 that is 30. Semester exam mark is 70.

Other: Counselling landed me in this course. I did not voluntarily choose this college. Labs can do much better and lab assistant positions should be given to righteous people. We have very less events and they are done on an average level. We expect more fun activities like outings, camps, and fests. Campus crowd is good like it's exactly how it should be. There are lots of clubs in our college. Our college holds NCC and NSS wings. We have over 100 clubs.

An okayish college with an Appreciable number of placements but fewer events and fests.

Placements: About 540 students out of 1148 students have placed so far in various companies. For more than 50% of students in my course, the lowest package offered is 3.6 LPA. The highest package offered is 34.2 LPA. The top recruiting companies in my course are Google, ServiceNow, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, TCS, etc.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are okay, but the systems in my course labs are not as expected. Most of them are basic systems with minimally updated frameworks. The quality of food in the canteen is average. Most of the sales they sell today are prepared the day before. They could be remaining food the day before the sale.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and experienced. The course is relevant, as they trains us through classwork, and we apply those technical skills in our interviews and placements. The semester exams are not that hard; actually, the pass percentage varies from batch to batch due to changes in regulations. Our batch (2025 pass-out batch) has a pass percentage of 67.84% to date.

Other: I choose this course because it matches my interests, as I am willing to pursue my career in the software industry. In my college, I choose to conduct coding exams every week, such as Leetcode exams, which help students motivate themselves. Events are very few in our college, and cultural activities are conducted rarely. Coming to connectivity, the college has good bus connectivity from various villages, ranging from Mandapeta to Annavaram, spread over a bus network of 72 to 75 km from the college.

Future of students in this digital world where they choose their future destination.

Placements: 90% of students got placed from our course. The highest package is 35 LPA and the average package is 9 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies according to me are Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, and Amazon I think we are lacking doing internships.

Infrastructure: According to me, infrastructure of our college is okay but not too good enough. Wi-Fi is not available for students in hostel or classrooms, some systems does work properly. Classrooms are okay. Library is very good in our college. The quality of food available in canteen is nice. I'm not a hosteller so I cannot explain about it we don't have girls hostel on campus.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in our college. They guide us in very nice way All faculty members are highly qualified, except for the lab faculty. The teaching quality is very nice, they explain so well. Course curriculum of information technology course is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult.

Other: I chose this course because it has demand in the market. The software industries are running for this technology cleanliness, and infrastructure. Cultural events and physical activities should be conducted and they have to improve only yearly event prism and strides.

It is a well-disciplined college and has very high chances for jobs in the IT industry.

Placements: Information technology is about networking and technology. There is a high chance of selection in placements. Nearly 1,500 students were placed in these years. The highest package is 34 LPA. Infosys and Amazon come here for hiring. It is based on your knowledge and showing skills in interviews.

Infrastructure: We have excellent faculty in our college. There is good Wi-Fi and labs with good software for solving questions in different languages. The hostel fee is a little bit more. The cost of the canteen is less and have a Xerox shop and different food items.

Faculty: Teachers help us to increase our knowledge and in the hiring process which teaches us to select jobs. The passing marks in the semester are 40 out of 100. There is an industrial trip according to your branch. There is a fee for semester exams every semester.

Other: By choosing information technology, you can increase your knowledge on the technology side which is used to select on the software side. There is a small fest and technology event to increase your technology ideas.
