PVPSIT Vijayawada has an engaging campus life.
Placements: The placements and training cell really works to connect students with industries. They organize and help us with everything like placement preparation, interviews, and career guidance. The institute is autonomous and actively updates the curriculum to meet the demands of the job market. They also conduct placement-related activities like mock testing and recruitment drives. They provide stipend-based internships for students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in the institute is spread over nearly 19.98 acres of land. The surroundings are a peaceful and green setting. The institute is located only eight kilometers away from the city center. There are many classrooms with projectors and books, and each classroom has a seating capacity of around 60 to 70 students. We have hostel facilities for both boys and girls separately. The girls' hostel is right on the campus with around 68 rooms, which can accommodate nearly 300 students. Strict discipline is maintained, and there is a strict curfew at the institute's hostel.
Faculty: My institute has good and experienced faculty members who give their best. The teachers' department is led by Dr. B. V. Subha Rao, Professor and Head of our department. There are 22 experienced faculty members for my course. They are intellectually smart and guide us with the right pathways. An outcome-based dedication approach is followed by students, and classes are a mix of blackboard explanations, labs, and practical projects. Our faculty is not only experienced but also approachable; they walk us through real-life examples for better understanding.
Other: My time at PVPSIT Vijayawada has been both challenging and rewarding. I chose this institute because of its strong placement record, experienced faculty, and active campus life. What I really liked is that this institute not only imparts theoretical knowledge to students but also teaches them how to survive in society, how to build a good character, how to develop personal skills, and how to have good personalities after entering society.

Decent college experience with good opportunities, but room for improvement.
Placements: I am from the 2023-27 B.Tech IT batch and currently in my 3rd year. Based on the senior batches, around 75% to 80% of students from our course got placed. The highest package offered is above 16 LPA, the lowest is around 3 LPA, and the average package is around 4.5 LPA. Major recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. Along with some product-based companies, around 60% of students managed to get internships, mostly in IT service companies or startups. Common roles are software developer and web developer.
Infrastructure: Our department has decent infrastructure with computer labs, smart classrooms, and campus-wide Wi-Fi. The library is well-stocked and quiet for study. The hostel rooms are okay for living with proper maintenance, electricity, and water supply. Mess food is average but clean, and thus, a canteen for extra food options, medical support, and sports facilities like a badminton court, cricket ground, and gym are available on campus.
Faculty: Most of the faculty are qualified and approachable and are willing to clear the doubts. The teaching quality is good, and the curriculum is updated as per industry trends, with good coding practices. The semester exams are moderately difficult, but regular preparation is enough to pass. The pass percentage is generally high.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in coding and technology. The best part is the practical learning, though I wish there were more industrial projects and workshops. The campus is well-connected, safe, and will offer scholarships to deserving students.

Semester papers are difficult.
Placements: The maximum students pass out with 9 plus grades and get the highest packages. Last year, the highest salary package offered in our department was 16 LPA.
Infrastructure: Everything is good. There is a garden, a canteen, a playground, and a good environment to learn. The experience is good and you can learn new things, make friends, and create many memories. Here everyone is studying well. Above-average students are many here. The competition is also high here.
Faculty: There are very well-experienced and good faculty members. There is good interaction. Improvement is there in students' academics, so don't worry about the faculty. Semester exams are a bit difficult, and I rate 7 out of 10.
Other: You can enjoy a lot here and don't need to worry about academics or grades.

Placements: The institute has a strong track record of placing students in top companies. The highest package offered is about 44 lacs and the lowest package is about 3 lacs in the college.
Top recruiting companies in IT and software sectors are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, HCL, etc. The institute provides industrial internship support and guidance to the students for getting paid internships. Some students got paid internships at Amazon getting about 60000 a month.
Infrastructure: A well-stocked library with a vast collection of books, journals, and digital resources is available. We have state-of-the-art laboratories for hands-on learning and experimentation. In hostel, they provide the best food to the students.
Faculty: The teachers here are fully qualified and they are able to teach coding languages well. They help the students a lot and they are friendly with the students. They provide the best placements for the students along with guidance. The difficulty level of the semester exams is really high, they ask questions indirectly and many students get them wrong as understanding the question takes more time than answering it. The pass percentage is about 70%.
Other: I chose this course as everyone is going to work in the IT sector and by choosing this getting a job in IT sector would become easy for me. I wish they would lower the difficulty level of the examination so that we are able to balance our academic score and apply for jobs. The events in our college are not many, they conduct only one fest in a year along with organizing the annual day. At the end of the year, they conduct departmental fest.

Infrastructure: The hostel provides very good infrastructure and facilities. Our campus provides 24X7 Wi-Fi. All labs are air-conditioned. Our classrooms are very good. The library has an access key to enter.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The course is very relevant. It makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are very difficult.
Other: I chose this course because it provides very high placements. Everyone depends on the IT sector. Our college is accredited by NAAC A+ grade.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is better. All classrooms are better. Our college has a hostel. It is not good. All canteens are better. The food served in every canteen is not good. Games are better.
Faculty: All teachers are a bit helpful. They are qualified at small degrees. The teaching quality is a bit better. The course curriculum is relevant. It does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy to pass. All teachers in our college are average. The HOD is not good.
Other: Our teachers should teach us well.

Placements: The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Virtusa, etc., visit our campus. Almost 85% of students are placed. Many students get more than two offer letters, with the lowest salary package offered to be 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus and hostel. The library is available. The food served is sufficient. Our college encourages players very well. Medical facilities are not available. The hostel atmosphere is good.
Faculty: Our faculty members are helpful. They begin preparing us for interviews as early as the second year. The pass percentage is 90%. All faculty members are well-qualified.

Placements: Almost 96% of students are placed in different companies. The highest salary package offered is 13 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA - 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Amazon and Capgemini visit our campus. There are 3-4 students who get internships. The top role offered in our course is a software developer.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure has Wi-Fi, labs, classes, a library, a restroom, a canteen, a waiting room, a playground, and a gym available. The quality of food is average. There is no medical care or a playground. The hostel does not provide proper beds. There are many mosquitoes during the night.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful a lot, not only in technology and education but also in getting scholarships. No one in our batch is ready for the industry. Mid-term exams are fair but semester exams are challenging. The pass percentage is 84% in all subjects in the 1st year.
Other: Information technology is the use of computers to create, process, store, retrieve and exchange all kinds of data and information. IT course is typically used within the context of business operations as it is opposed to personal or entertainment technologies. IT course forms part of information and communications technology so I chose this branch.
