Good college. Placements are good for civil engineering.

Placements: I am studying civil engineering, and my seniors got placed in core companies, and they were at almost 80%. The highest package should have a minimum of 5-7 LPA for mainly IT jobs, and the core should have a minimum of 3 LPA. The top recruiter was LNT. Civil engineering software companies like Autodesk are also recruiting.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure for civil engineering labs is good. The library is very clean, and books are available for all subjects. The hostel located inside the college is very clean, and the hostel, which is located at the backside of the library, has a nice environment.

Faculty: The faculty is good. They are knowledgeable and explain precisely. The curriculum is very easy to understand, not hard. Exams are very easy to pass, and the pass percentage is at least 75% for every semester. It is easy to get Sgpa through the curriculum. Students are capable for industry.

Reviewing Pragati Engineering College.

Placements: I have joined Civil engineering as the course has very less students with the class strength being around 60. In our college, the highest package was 33 LPA by Amazon and minimum package offered to students is 3.5 LPA. The top companies visiting are Amazon, Google and Infosys.

Infrastructure: The syllabus sheet is very well prepared and staff teaches really nice in an innovative way they take us to labs to have a better understanding. Coming to the college infrastructure, our college has every facility that a college should provide. We got a good collection of books in our library. We got a hostel in our campus with a mess and other facilities.

Faculty: The staff is very interested in teaching and they are very strict when it comes to academics. Exams and supplementaries are conducted every 6 months, as our college is autonomous, we have the facility to conduct exams in our own college. The semester exams are somewhat difficult and the passing marks are 28 out of 70 for a subject. Anyways, the staff is well experienced so they can train you well.

Our college is the best college in kakinada district.

Placements: 95% of the students passed the course. The highest package offered is INR 35 lpa, and the lowest is INR 2 lpa. CSE students get more jobs. There are many placements offered to students. Some people got internships at our college. TCS is the top recruiting company.

Infrastructure: There is a central library in our college. There is no hostel facility for women. Outside hostels have more facilities than college hostels. The hostel food is not as good as our home food. There are many hostels located outside of the college that you should consider joining.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. They have more knowledge. Only the hods have doctorates. Other faculties include assistant professors. The teaching quality is good. Some faculties are excellent. They teach us how to be better people as well as students.

Other: I've always wanted to work in civil engineering. The best thing is good faculty. There are many events, like Prism, which is the biggest event in our college.

Review of Pragati Engineering College.

Placements: Placements are good, but salary packages are in the range of 3 LPA. MNCs don't visit our college. If you want a high salary package, don't choose Pragati Engineering College. They are not providing any internal training for placements.

Infrastructure: Pragati Engineering College has a boys' hostel on the campus. There are double and triple-sharing rooms. The food served at the hostel is clean, nutritional, and tasty. For students, hostels offer all of the basic amenities, like indoor sports facilities and laundry.

Faculty: The quality of teaching is good. All faculty members are friendly and helpful. We can gain more practical knowledge than theoretical knowledge. The curriculum is totally updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. The education and experience we get in college will definitely make us job-ready.

I am not satisfied because of its placements.

Placements: Around 60-70% of students are placed in our course, and not many placements are related to our course but in software, students get placements. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. The least salary package offered is 6 LPA. Almost 60% of students get internships from Internshala. The roles offered are managers, architects, technicians, etc.

Infrastructure: Our classrooms are very clean in this college. Wi-Fi is enabled, and it also provides a branch library and main library. The laboratories are working fine and conducted regularly, but some laboratory machines do not work. The facilities are good, and they keep washrooms clean. It also has a gym facility. The quality of food is not good, and the canteen is very small. All medical facilities are available. and every sport is available to play.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course is relevant, and it makes students ready for the industry. The exams are not difficult, because teachers teach every topic-related question. The pass percentage is 75-80%.

Other: I like this course, because it has more opportunities when compared to other courses. When students get some experience, then they can earn more money easily where ever they go. Some machines in the laboratory needed to change, and getting more placements in our course-related. Events are not conducted regularly. Sports meet is conducted every year in this college. The campus area is small.
