Placements: I'm from the B.Tech Artificial Intelligence course, 2026 pass-out batch at Pragati Engineering College. Around 75–85% of students in our course were placed, with the highest package being ₹10 LPA, the lowest around ₹3.6 LPA, and an average of ₹4.5–5.5 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, and a few product-based or startup companies. About 60–70% of students secured internships in companies like TCS iON, startups, and through platforms like Internshala and SmartInternz. Common roles offered are software developer, AI/ML developer, data analyst, and system engineer.
Infrastructure: Pragati Engineering College offers good infrastructure with well and good classrooms, well-equipped AI and coding labs, and a rich digital library. Hostels are clean with decent Wi-Fi, 24/7 power, and water. Mess food is average but hygienic, and the canteen is affordable. Medical support is available on campus, and students have access to various indoor and outdoor sports facilities.
Faculty: Teachers at Pragati Engineering College are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, especially in the AI and CSE departments. The teaching quality is good, with a focus on practical learning through projects and certification. The course offers hands-on learning and good exposure to tools and projects. I wish there are more industry-driven workshops. The campus has a friendly crowd, tech fests, cultural events, good road connectivity, and scholarships. Extracurriculars like coding clubs and sports are actively encouraged.

Things students should know about Pragati Engineering College.
Placements: At Pragati Engineering College, placements are very good. Almost 90% of students get placed in various companies every year. There are good packages for students. The highest package at Pragati Engineering College is 40 LPA, and the average package is 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and hostel are good in Pragati Engineering College. It is not that great but just good. There will be no better gym in the college hostel. Labs are good and provide good Wi-Fi. One of the best things in the college is the library. There are several books for those who are interested in reading books in the library.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and good at communication. Some teachers are not good in some departments. The majority of teachers are good and behave kindly. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Internships from 3rd and 4th-year make students ready for industries. Semester exams are moderate. Students will be passed if they have at least basic knowledge in that particular subject.
Other: The campus life at Pragati Engineering College is good, and it will be memorable for us. There will be a technical fest, annual fest, and sports fest once every year.

College had good infrastructure and placement team.
Placements: About 70% students are placed and the highest package was 40 LPA the average package was about 5 LPA. Top recruiting company was Autodesk. Internship recruiters were Accenture and Amazon with a good stipend. This year we had around 900 offers come to the students and they were still going on.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was good almost everywhere on the campus. The labs were good with new equipment. Coming to the hostel, the food was average but compared to home, it was not up to the level. We have a dispensary in the college itself and an available nurse and we have a mineral water supply around the campus and a small solar plant in the main block.
Faculty: Teachers were knowledgeable and they were good with the explanation of the topics. Semesters were easy enough if we followed the faculty and assignments. The course curriculum was designed to obtain all the qualities required while in the engineering and it helps by providing both technical knowledge and general too.
Other: I am studying CSE AI in this college and every year we have fests like Prism, which are cultural to be specified with and we have the technical event named Strides, which is a participation event that enhances the student's way of thinking and elevates mental growth, like active participation and all.

Positive outcome.
Placements: In our classroom, it contains 60 students which is so much spacious and sufficient. The highest package is 40 LPA from AIML and the lowest is 4 LPA. We have many opportunities taking place such as cohort internships and AICTE eduskills internships. Now and then every student does NPTEL courses which is very helpful for placements. Artificial intelligence is a leading course in our college, students get placed in AI very often as their capabilities are insane. Artificial intelligence is taken as a data scientist, AI developer, database developer, and many other roles that play a major role even like AI engineer roles.
Infrastructure: College provides boys hostel and girls stay in outside hostels which are so good. Infrastructure is fab as it gives very pleasant vibes. Season-wise you are going to see great nature over the college as it is surrounded by trees and flowers. We have great equipment in the labs as they are very well and good to use efficiently. Every lab has qualified technicians and qualified teachers who help us to learn and execute code.
Faculty: Every subject has a dignified and well-qualified lecturer who knows about the subject in depth and they encourage us in the classroom to study and to know things so that we can develop a creative mindset. Pragati Engineering College is affiliated with JNTUK University which is Andhra Pradesh's number 1 college. Pragati Engineering College follows the same curriculum and syllabus that is followed by JNTUK.
Other: As everyone knows AI is ruling the world as far as I know, and why I chose this college is that it's discipline, it's management, and the study over here. Pragati Engineering College is one of the top 10 colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

Satisfied because of placements, internships, labs, and library.
Placements: The maximum number of students are placed in my college and they were placed in Amazon, Flipkart, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, etc. The highest package of the 2023-2024 year is 40 LPA and the lowest package is 2 LPA. The average package of my college is 4 LPA. 80% of students are getting placements in Pragati Engineering College. In the academic year of 2023-2024, the batch of students got 1418 placements in top companies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi doesn't exist in my college but every system has an internet connection in labs. Infrastructure is good. Labs and classrooms are clean and good. The library was too good in Pragati Engineering College. I don't know about hostels, but hostel fees are very high for middle-class students.
Faculty: The faculty is also good at Pragati Engineering College but they didn't teach in detail or depth. The course curriculum is okay for students getting placements on campus. Semester examinations were strict. Examination rooms were good and semester examinations were conducted strictly and properly. Semester exam papers are easier than JNTUK exam papers. Pass percentage of exams is 33%.
Other: I chose the AI course because it is trending and has scope in the future. And so many opportunities have arisen in AI Base. Events and fests happen with a large crowd of students. Scholarship is provided by the Andhra Pradesh government. I am also a fee-reimbursement student, and I'm eligible for the POST METRIC Scholarship.
