Academic excellence and innovation: A journey at Pragati Engineering College

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is good and very well maintained by the college management. We have different classrooms and blocks for all the departments, and well-suited labs are provided for all departments as per their curriculum. Also, there are facilities like a central library, canteen, medical facilities, and a ground for involvement in sports and games.

Faculty: All the teachers in my college are well-educated and well-mannered and have a lot of knowledge in their respective subjects. All of them are well qualified in their subjects, and the course curriculum provided is very good and useful so that all students are industry-ready. The semester exams in our college are very well conducted and somewhat difficult, and the pass percentage is 25%.

Infrastructure: The data science depth has dedicated labs with modern software. The campus is Wi-Fi-enabled with smart classrooms and a good library. Hostel rooms are well-maintained. Mess food is decent, and the canteen is good. The college has excellent sports facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and supportive, most with PhDs. The teaching quality is excellent. The curriculum is relevant, covering Python, ML, and big data, which makes us industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately tough, with a pass rate of over 90%.

A brief view of Pragati Engineering College.

Placements: Almost more than 1500 students secured placement from Pragati Engineering College. In which a girl named Telugunta Sahana secured a 40 LPA from the branch of CSE (Data Science) the lowest package starts from 2.8 LPA. The average package is up to 4 LPA to 7 LPA and the highest package from 10 LPA. Accenture is the topmost recruiter in our college. The roles that are offered in our course are data analyst, data entry operator, data scientist, etc. I'm studying in 2nd year so still there is sometime for a chance of our placements.

Infrastructure: Course is well but hostel is waste of money. Food quality is average and medical facilities are good. Sports and games facilities are better. It is comparatively better than outside rooms and then there is space and Wi-Fi is also good. Classrooms are equipped with speakers and projectors but in some of the classes only they are arranged.

Faculty: The teaching staff is great. They teach us very well and they simplify the content by teaching us logically. Course curriculum can make students industry-ready. Pass percentage of semesters is 99.15%. The teaching staff are friendly with every student so that every doubt could be asked without any introvertness.

I really like this college which makes us very comfortable.

Placements: The percentage of students placed last year is 80. The highest package is 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Many MNC companies visited our college for the drive, like Accenture, Tech Mahindra, CarTrade, etc. Many students are placed in these companies.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of our college are very comfortable and spacious. There is a Wi-Fi facility on our campus, and the classrooms are very spacious. The benches are very neat. Our library has a large number of books which are used by students for studying. We have a canteen where we hang out with our friends, and our canteen is very good and of high quality.

Faculty: Our faculty has a lot of experience, and they are very professional. They teach us with examples. Teachers are engaged with us. Faculty support and encourage us in every aspect. Our HOD is very supportive and conducts events for us. Teachers encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities.

Other: I chose this course (Data Science) because in the future, these courses have high priority and more demand. Data Science has more future scope.

Title: Great Infrastructure but Room for Improvement in Faculty

Placements: 95% of the students got placed in different companies. Highest package is about 40 LPA and average package is about 7 LPA and least is 4.5 LPA in Infosys ,Cognizant. The training and testing error performing jobs has been ordered in the interviews.

Infrastructure: The hostel management is managed very well by the college management and hygiene food is provided to the students in order to check the health of the students. The classrooms are wide and spacious. The wifi is 24/7 available across the hostel. The food is good and hygienic.

Faculty: Teachers play an important role in helping various objectives like encouraging in participating in various activities. Teachers are well educated and highly qualified and dignified. There is no partiality between the students and they help us in all the ways and semester exams are strictly conducted by the college management and there is scope for copying.

Other: I chose data science because I want to become a data Scientist and the fests are conducted less and yearly once in the month of January. Scholarship is provided for the college and they encourage the students.
