Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology (PSIT Kanpur) Scholarships and Funding

Scholarship 1

Scholarship for B. Tech Candidates-

1. JEE (Main) Candidates will get 100% Fee Waiver for both Institute Fee and Hostel Fee.
2. Candidates having best innovative technical ideas, 80% & Above Marks in PCM and JEE (Main) 2025 will get CRL up to 100000 and 100% Fee Waiver, including Institute fee and Hostel fee will be given to 5 students who present the best innovative ideas as per the discretion of the evaluation committee of the Institute.
3. Orphan Candidates (who have lost both their parents), 80% & Above Marks in PCM or JEE (Main) 2025 will get CRL up to 100000 and 100% Fee Waiver, including Institute fee and Hostel fee will be given to 5 students.
4. Candidates having 90% & Above Marks in PCM or JEE (Main) 2025 will get CRL up to 100000, 45000 of Institute fee waiver and 15000 of Hostel fee waiver will be given.

Scholarship 2

Scholarship for MBA & MCA Candidates-
Eligibility: Candidates having 80% & Above Marks in Graduation will get 30000 of Institute fee waiver and 15000 of Hostel fee waiver.

Moderate satisfied with my college. Good infrastructure, average placements, and 90% attendance.

Placements: If you have enough tech and non-tech skills, and have a good record along with some real-time projects, you can expect the highest package of 50+ LPA in companies like Microsoft, Google, etc. Many have secured internships off-campus for 1 lakh per month from companies like Turning. Roles offered include SDE, AI trainer, AI engineer, data analyst, python developer, software testers, etc. Around 70-80% of students get placed every year. The minimum package is not known to everyone, but it should be at least 2-3 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, HCL, JTC, etc. Students who got internships are comparatively fewer because getting an internship in large companies is quite competitive.

With just 40 percentile in JEE Main OBC, PSIT Kanpur is kinda out of reach.its OBC closing rank usually lies in the 8–10 lakh range. Even with home state quota, you’d need a much better rank.
