Good placements, strong academics, with good infrastructure and career opportunities.
Placements: I am from MVGR College of Engineering, Vizianagaram (B.Tech information technology, batch 2022-2026). In IT, around 80-85% of students get placed every year. The highest package is 25 LPA, the average package is about 5 LPA, and the lowest is around 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters include Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, Pennant Technologies, and HCL. Nearly 70% of students secure internships through companies like Infosys, TCS, Amazon, and other IT firms. The common roles offered are software developer, data analyst, system engineer, full-stack developer, and associate consultant.
Infrastructure: Information technology department at MVGR College of Engineering, Vizianagaram has excellent infrastructure with Wi-Fi enabled campus, well-equipped computer labs, smart classrooms, digital library access, and research facilities. Hostel facilities are good with spacious rooms, 24X7 Wi-Fi, and study space. Mess and canteen provide decent and hygienic food with multiple options. College also ensures medical facilities with a health center and ambulance support. For overall development, there are facilities for sports and games such as cricket, basketball, volleyball, badminton, gym, and indoor games, which are well-maintained and regularly used by students.
Faculty: Faculty members in the IT department at MVGR College of Engineering are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and very supportive. Teaching quality is good, with a mixture of practical and theoretical learning. The curriculum is updated and industry-relevant, helping students gain skills needed for placements. Semester exams are moderately difficult but manageable with proper preparation. The overall pass percentage remains above 85-90%, showing the effectiveness of teaching and evaluation.
Other: I am from the B.Tech information technology (batch 2022-2026) at MVGR College of Engineering, Vizianagaram. I chose this course because of my interest in software development and emerging IT technologies. The best part of the course is the strong curriculum, supportive faculty members, good placements, and opportunities for internships. I feel there can be improvement in advanced labs and more industry-oriented workshops. Campus has a vibrant crowd with many technical and cultural fests, hackathons, and extracurricular activities. College also provides scholarships, good transport connectivity, green surroundings, and active student clubs, making the overall experience enriching.

Satisfied with college infrastructure, faculty, and placements.
Placements: Above 50% students are placed. Highest package is 20 LPA, lowest package is 4 LPA. Infosys and Cognizant are recruiters. 50% of students get a job as Testing, Project coordinator, Delivery manager. Tech Mahindra, Wipro, and HCL are recruiters. Average package is 6 LPA. Operations research analytics, Data Scientist, Computer network architect, and Software developer are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: All facilities are available. Classrooms, hostel maintenance, and food are good. Games and sports are also available. Canteen and mess are also good. Wi-Fi is available. Labs are available. Classrooms are clean and good. Medical facilities are there. Facilities are excellent.
Faculty: Teaching quality was good and helpful. Semester exams are difficult, and maximum pass percent is 70%. Course is curriculum-relevant. It is making students industry-ready. Faculty are knowledgeable. Teachers are helpful
and qualified. Good teaching quality.
Other: I chose it to get a job in a good software company. To learn more about coding and internships. Very few events are held. Extra curricular activities are held, like the dance club, Singing, Treasure hunt, and FYFP.
