Pleasant campus vibe, friendly faculty, and good library infrastructure.
Placements: My journey at the college has been a whole roller coaster ride. Our professors have constantly supported me to understand and clear my fundamentals. They also supported me in understanding the competitive preparations, which led to my successful selection in the on-campus drive. I have secured an 8 LPA package with the assistance of the college and placement cell. The training classes and mock tests helped a lot in improving myself to meet the industrial standards. The training boosted my confidence and helped me know my weaknesses and overcome them, and to turn them into my strengths.
Infrastructure: The canteen food is good. The library is useful for all the competitive exams. The facilities are good enough to pursue the course effectively. The campus has a sports complex. The yearly sports meet happens during the time of the annual day. Sports are equally encouraged along with the curriculum.
Faculty: Professors are friendly and are always available to clear the queries. My Professors supported me to understand and clearing my fundamentals. Exams are conducted under CCTV surveillance.

The college that made my life beautiful.
Placements: From each department, 20 percent of students are getting placed, it is the same for my course department, i.e., information technology. The highest is 25 LPA and the lowest is 2.7 LPA offered in my course. The top recruiting companies are Pennant, Candela, Global AI, Ready.io, Andino Labs, etc. 30 percent of students are getting internships in HCL, Brainovision, TCS Hackathon, etc. Junior software engineer, assistant software developer, and web developer are the roles offered in my course.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi provided for students, but Wi-Fi is only provided in the labs where the huge computers are available for laptop activities. The classrooms are neat and sufficient for the more than 70 students, a big library is available in our college, and it is not allowed without a student ID card. Quality food is available in our canteen with a neat, clean, and hygienic area. Sports and games, medical facilities, mess, and canteen are all available in our college.
Faculty: The faculty are helpful and Ph.D. qualified in my course, they have high knowledge and has more than 20 years of experience in my course. The teaching quality is very good for my course. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready, because IT management skills are taught in my course. Somewhat difficult for semester exam for the average students, the pass percentage is more than 85 percent.
Other: Currently, the IT industry is experiencing huge growth, and there are many jobs for graduate students, which is the main reason to choose this course. I like web development and software development. Making students learn new things, i.e., AI, data analysis, and machine learning. All events, fests, scholarships, and extracurricular activities are present in my college.

Placements: In our college, so many students are placed in so many companies like Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Google, Microsoft, and soon, with a minimum 5 LPA to 20 LPA. The placements are core, and IT companies are offering jobs. A maximum of 95 percent of students got placed in every branch in our college.
Infrastructure: In our college, there are both boys' and girls' hostels. In our class, there is Wi-Fi, and also in the labs. The hostel food is also good. The food provided is every morning, tiffin, afternoon lunch, and evening dinner in both the boys' and girls' hostels.
Faculty: In our college, every department has good faculty with well-educated teachers. The faculty fully supports the student to participate in a hackathon and do many activities. Every year, there are 2 semesters, and every semester has 2 mid exams and an internal and external lab.

Placements: I am from MVGR College of Engineering, Vizianagaram (B.Tech information technology, batch 2022-2026). In IT, around 80-85% of students get placed every year. The highest package is 25 LPA, the average package is about 5 LPA, and the lowest is around 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters include Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, Pennant Technologies, and HCL. Nearly 70% of students secure internships through companies like Infosys, TCS, Amazon, and other IT firms. The common roles offered are software developer, data analyst, system engineer, full-stack developer, and associate consultant.
Infrastructure: Information technology department at MVGR College of Engineering, Vizianagaram has excellent infrastructure with Wi-Fi enabled campus, well-equipped computer labs, smart classrooms, digital library access, and research facilities. Hostel facilities are good with spacious rooms, 24X7 Wi-Fi, and study space. Mess and canteen provide decent and hygienic food with multiple options. It has best labs for practical experience with highly educated technicians and faculty members. Our hostel is very good. Food quality is very good in both hostel and canteen. They provide varieties of items on menu. In emergency, medicine facility is available. Both indoor and outdoor sports are available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable in clarifying our doubts. Teaching quality is also good, and they all have more than 10 years of experience in teaching. All courses are related to this current industry and trends. Exams are medium level but we can write by reading textbook.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in web development. The best things are subjects and practical experience. More events should be held in our college and extracurricular activities.

Placements: Placement rate is 64.3% (519/825 grades). The highest package offered is 25 LPA, and the average is 5.2 LPA. Top recruiters are Cisco, Capgemini, Accenture, Hitachi, Infosys, and TCS. 989 students got internships, with recruiters including similar firms, e.g., Hexaware, M2P Fintech, and Pennant Tech. Top roles offered are software, analytics, core engineering positions, mainly IT/software engineering, product, automation, and analytics roles from firms like Capgemini, Cisco, Hexaware, and Global AI Tech.
Infrastructure: The hostel has 2-3 sharing rooms, RO water, Wi-Fi, gym, recreation, solar hot water, power backup, and in-house medical. There is no Wi-Fi in classrooms, and there is also no signal, but the canteen food is good. As I do not stay in a hostel, I can't review the hostel's food. There is a central library with 45,691 volumes, 20,796 titles, and 14,276 serial periodicals. A digital library with a 250 Mbps internet facility is available.
Faculty:
The faculty members are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The curriculum is industry-relevant, but it doesn't make students industry-ready, as the college subjects are only the basics, but the industry needs skills that we have to explore. Semester exams are moderately tough, and the pass rate is 85-90%.
Other: There is no difference between CSE and IT. They teach deep concepts about the important topic. There are no events except the annual day and the freshers' day.
