B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2025
2.2

My CSE batch is not a good fit for this 2025 batch to get easily placed.
Placements: Placement ratio in our branch is conservatively odd because only a few students get placed. As I know, the campus placements are very low because of continuous layoffs and recession in my batch. Only a small number of students got placed in some small startups, small companies, or organisations such as ITnetworkz, Techout Solution, and Qspiders. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top roles offered are Java developer, frontend developer, and consultant.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is decent because the number of classrooms, labs, and workshops is available. Some facilities, such as Wi-Fi, food availability in the canteen, and sports grounds, are limited. Classrooms are separate for different departments accordingly, but the seminar hall is just one where all events take place.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable in their field. There are newly added branches like AIDS, etc. Their teaching is not so skilled. Their teaching methods are not updated. The course curriculum needs to change according to the new technology. Passing exams is not so difficult.
Other: The crowd on campus gathers when the semester starts, and after exams, the crowd decreases. Events take place in months. A big fest is also held once a year.

The teaching environment and placement opportunities are absolutely bad.
Placements: Placement on our campus was not very good. The placed students were not satisfied with their roles and salaries. Placement offers were slightly different from the main branch of Priyadarshini in Nagpur. I did not know the recent placement packages, but previously, the highest package was about 7 LPA, and the average was 2 LPA. Internships were not provided on campus, and students had to find their own. The top roles offered were office attendant and sales jobs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was not very developed. Only a few necessary facilities were available. Classrooms were very old, and the lab equipment was not stocked. Classrooms were shared with other branches if more students attended lectures. Library space was available, but not very active. The canteen was available, but food items were limited. The sports ground was very large, but indoor sports equipment was not available.
Faculty: Faculty members were knowledgeable, but the number of faculty members was very low. Only a limited number of faculty members taught semester after semester. Some faculty members were very old and not very good at teaching the latest programming languages and tools. The course curriculum needed to change because it was not suitable for the latest environment of learning computer science. It was not difficult to pass the semester exams, but students had to focus on understanding the topics and syllabus to score well in the exams.
Other: Events and fests did not take place frequently, but when they were organized. Many students attended who had never come to lectures the whole semester. I just wanted to improve teaching methods in engineering so they stood in line with the latest computer science environment.

Good infrastructure and facilities, but the teachers and curriculum are not worth.
Placements: Top recruiting companies include Hexaware, Delta, Capgemini, and HCL. Most of the roles are in the tech background, and some are non-technical. The highest package is around 7 LPA, with an average of 4 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. In our course/department, 50 percent of people got placements.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are in good condition, with proper equipment and tools for study. Desktops are also well-maintained in our department. Classrooms have smart boards and TVs for teachers to teach easily. Our college has all types of sports facilities, whether indoors or outdoors.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful but not very knowledgeable in teaching students effectively. The course curriculum is relevant, but does not make students industry-ready. Exams are not difficult. They are a bit medium, with 95% of students passing. Teachers are not very qualified.
Other: I chose this course to enter the IT corporate sector. The best thing about my course is the high demand in the IT sector, including AI/ML, cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science, and data analytics. One thing I wish would improve is the teachers and their quality of teaching. We have our annual fest called Ashwamedh, which is the best event, and we also host an IIT Bombay zonal tech fest.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2024

Decent academy support with a good campus, but needs more practical exposure.
Placements: Around 60-70% of students from the BE in mechanical engineering were placed. The highest package offered was around 6 LPA, the lowest around 2 LPA, and the average was about 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters included NGOs, media houses, and educational firms. Around 50% of students got internships in companies like Teach for India, Times Group, and local startups. Common roles included content writers, research assistants, and HR trainees.
Infrastructure: The college provides good facilities for our department, including smart classrooms, fast Wi-Fi, and well-equipped computer labs. The library is quiet and stocked with useful study material. Hostels are clean and have basic amenities. The food in the mess is average, while the canteen offers a better variety. Medical help is available on campus with a health center. Sports facilities, such as a playground and indoor games, are provided to encourage student recreation. Overall, the infrastructure is decent and supports both academics and student life well.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable in their subjects. The teaching quality is good, with practical examples and regular doubt-solving sessions. The course curriculum is up-to-date and industry-relevant, which helps in preparing students for real-world challenges. Semester exams are moderately difficult but manageable with regular study. The pass percentage is decent, with most students clearing their exams on time.
Other: I chose the B.E. Mechanical Engineering course for its broad subject options and scope for learning. The best part is the supportive faculty and flexible curriculum. I wish there were more practical activities. The campus crowd is friendly, events are lively, and the college is well-connected. Scholarships are also available.

Good college and infrastructure.
Placements: 100% of the students are placed in this college. Highest package is Rs. 2,00,000 LPA, and lowest is Rs. 1,00,000 LPA. 95% of students are placed in this college with the top-notch companies. In our course, they offer internships.
Infrastructure: Facilities are also good and infrastructure is also available for us and this id also helpful to maintain more discipline and manners in this college. They provide classrooms, Wi-Fi and library to achieve the best dreams. It has enjoyable atmosphere for creativity and has AC.
Faculty: Teachers are more helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Best is the teaching quality, and this course is the best in this college. Curriculum activities are more impressive and relevant to make students industry-ready at any time.

B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science - Batch of 2024

3Placements3Infrastructure3Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
One of the authentic colleges in Nagpur.
Placements: The first batch of B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science had a placement record of 62.5%, while our batch secured 79.3% placement records with 21.3 LPA as the highest package for the department, followed by 17.5 LPA as the second highest.
Infrastructure: The college is located in the central area of Nagpur, which is one of the busiest areas, so they charge higher tuition fees. The campus in charge keeps an eye on all the students, so it is definitely impossible to bunk classes or be late to class. The fine system is also followed by the college.
Faculty: As this course was initiated 5 years ago, I am one of the students to join the course from the second year of initiation. Teachers from other disciplines were advised to handle our subjects, which was a little bit disappointing to join this course.
