Decent academy support with a good campus, but needs more practical exposure.
Placements: Around 60-70% of students from the BE in mechanical engineering were placed. The highest package offered was around 6 LPA, the lowest around 2 LPA, and the average was about 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters included NGOs, media houses, and educational firms. Around 50% of students got internships in companies like Teach for India, Times Group, and local startups. Common roles included content writers, research assistants, and HR trainees.
Infrastructure: The college provides good facilities for our department, including smart classrooms, fast Wi-Fi, and well-equipped computer labs. The library is quiet and stocked with useful study material. Hostels are clean and have basic amenities. The food in the mess is average, while the canteen offers a better variety. Medical help is available on campus with a health center. Sports facilities, such as a playground and indoor games, are provided to encourage student recreation. Overall, the infrastructure is decent and supports both academics and student life well.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable in their subjects. The teaching quality is good, with practical examples and regular doubt-solving sessions. The course curriculum is up-to-date and industry-relevant, which helps in preparing students for real-world challenges. Semester exams are moderately difficult but manageable with regular study. The pass percentage is decent, with most students clearing their exams on time.
Other: I chose the B.E. Mechanical Engineering course for its broad subject options and scope for learning. The best part is the supportive faculty and flexible curriculum. I wish there were more practical activities. The campus crowd is friendly, events are lively, and the college is well-connected. Scholarships are also available.

I am satisfied with the good faculty members.
Placements: Good companies like Tata, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, etc., visit the college and give good packages. The top recruiting companies of our course are Tech Mahindra and Tata. Up to 75% of students got internships from my course in MIDC companies. The top role offered in my course is designer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of course and the hostel are very good. I like to spend time and I like it much more. The Wi-Fi speed of my college is very good. Labs are in good condition with computers. Classrooms are well-furnished. The library is big and there are many books to read.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. The course is good and the curriculum is one of the best parts. Teachers are very helpful and are PhD holders in their fields. They are very knowledgeable. The teaching quality of teachers is very good. It makes students industry-ready.

Story of Priyadarshini College of Engineering.
Placements: I'm pursuing Mechanical Engineering at Priyadarshini College of Engineering, and I'm in my 3rd year. The company like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Wipro, Infosys, and Mahindra. Around 50% of students likely to get an internship from college but it's depends on students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of Priyadarshini College of Engineering is very beautiful, and the campus is well-maintained. Hostel is very good, with Wi-Fi facility for study, and also library space is available. The food in hostel is also good, with 2 full meals and 1 breakfast served daily.
Faculty: The teaching faculty of mechanical department is very good and supportive. They are ready to help students as they need. College has an exam pattern before the university semester exams, with 35 marks each for 2 papers CAT 1 and CAT 2, and sessional 70 marks. Exam are really hard.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty members and facilities.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course was 45 percent. The average package was 5 lacs, the highest package was 7 lacs, and the lowest package was 3 lacs. Some reputed companies reached our college campus for recruitment, and several students got internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities available for my batch are not good. The conditions of washrooms are not well. There is no water supply in taps and flush. The hostel rooms are very small and congested. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is average.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. They are not enough helpful and don't provide enough resources so that students can perform well in the examinations. Our course is not curriculum relevant. The semester exams are difficult because of fewer resources.

Reality of Priyadarshani College.
Placements: The college is average, so don't expect much; you should take the initiative regarding placements and pursuing a good package. Mostly, companies come for web development roles and user testing, and it's rare for someone to get an out-of-the-box package.
Infrastructure: The college offers various facilities, including Wi-Fi, a large library, well-equipped laboratories, modern computer labs, and well-furnished classrooms. The hostel is also good, but the food from the mess is not that great; as you know, all messes don’t focus on nutrition.
Faculty: The faculty is kind and supportive; they help us in every way they can. Even during placement time, the teachers are more excited than the students, and the energy was different when I was studying there. Semester exams are a bit tough, but teachers help us a lot with doubts and exam preparation.

Quite dissatisfied beacuse of infrastructure.
Placements: The percentage of students who were placed in my course was 52%. The highest package was 9.5 LPA, the average package was 5 LPA, and the lowest package was 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Teach Mahindra and TCS. Many students also got internships.
Infrastructure: The furniture of the classrooms and labs is getting old and worn-out. The technologies like projectors, computers, and printers are also getting outdated. Wi-Fi facilities are not available for students. A well-stocked library is present. Multiple sports and medical facilities are there.
Faculty: The teachers are of very helpful and polite nature. They provide both online and offline resources for study. They use different types of methodologies for teaching with their personal involvement with the students. Our course's curriculum is relevant, and many activities are conducted by the college.

Priyadarshini college of engineering, Nagpur.
Placements: Our college provides 50% placements in the most famous industries and telecom companies in India. These companies provide 3 Lacs to 12 Lacs of annual packages. All the students are required to take internships from the college. Approximately 99% of the students attend internships.
Infrastructure: This college has a big campus and a building which maintains cleanliness. The classrooms and library are fully covered Wi-Fi zones. Hostel is far from the college but they provide transportation facilities to the students. Rooms are big and the mess food is also good. The hostel has good sports facilities.
Faculty: Our college has approximately 80% of well educated and knowledgeable faculty members. They provide the best guidance to the students. They give the best training facility. There are two semesters along with four mid-exams conducted by the college. In the beginning, it was tough for us but now it seems easy to clear the semester exams.

The college campus is the cream on the cake.
Placements: Placements are better; however, as my branch is Mechanical Engineering, our placements are average. Only bright students and those who excel in studies can secure seats and opportunities in the placements. The highest package offered to our students is 8 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 3 LPA. Internship opportunities are also available and are provided in the 3rd, 5th, and 7th semesters along with projects.
Infrastructure: The college is in a very large area, providing ample space for various activities. The college has a vast playground, and there is also a spacious lawn for events like Aswamedh. Wi-Fi facilities are available throughout the college, and canteens offer a wide variety of food. Libraries are accessible for every department with suitable study spaces.
Faculty: Faculty members are also good and maintain a friendly rapport with the students. Teachers always provide suggestions and support students during any activity. The teachers are highly experienced, holding degrees in Masters and PhDs. Semester exams are somewhat challenging because our college is not autonomous, requiring us to cover the entire syllabus for the exam.
Other: I chose this course due to my low percentile in the entrance exam; otherwise, I was interested in studying in IT branches.
