The PSIAS BE/BE (Hons) course aspirants need to take the entrance test conducted in-house by the institute. Applicants with a very good academic record can be exempted from the entrance test. These candidates are admitted directly without taking the test. Moreover, the entrance test details are shared with the students over mail. Apart from this, it is also crucial that the aspirants fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements. As per unofficial sources, the criteria is Class 12 or equivalent pass with at least 45% aggregate from CBSE or Tamil Nadu Government examinations.

PSG Institute of Advanced Studies accept course fee payment on a yearly basis. If the candidate is wanting to pay full course fee, then that can be discussed with the college admission office. The fee payment is further accepted by demand draft/bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS). PSGIAS BE/BE (H) tuition fee ranges between INR 6.9 Lacs and INR 13.9 lakh. The college finalise students within a week from the date of application form submission along with Class 12 marks. PSG IAS may inform students about the selection over registered mobile number or through an email. After receiving the selection letter, candidates are required to accept the letter within a week and pay the required amount of course fee. Only after the final payment, the admission is confirmed.
