B.E. in Computer Engineering (Lateral Entry) - Batch of 2029
3.8
4Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
It has good placements, a strong coding culture, decent infrastructure, and a balanced college life.
Placements: I am from the PICT in the BE (CS) course. 85% of students got jobs. The highest package offered is 20 LPA. The lowest package offered is 3 LPA. The average package offered ranges from 6-7 LPA. Top companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, and Cognizant hire students. 70 percent of students got internships in companies like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, and startups. Top roles offered are software developer, data analyst, test engineer, and web developer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in PICT is good for studying. Classrooms are clean and have smart boards. Labs have updated systems and fast Wi-Fi. The library has many books, journals, and a silent reading area, which helps in study and exam preparation. Hostel facilities are decent. Rooms are clean but a bit compact. Mess food quality is average, sometimes good, and sometimes repetitive. The canteen has better options. Medical help is available when needed. Sports grounds and indoor games facilities are also available for students.
Faculty: Faculty members in PICT are mostly helpful and qualified. They have good subject knowledge. Some teachers explain concepts very clearly and are supportive during practicals and projects. Their teaching style can vary from teacher to teacher. The course curriculum is quite relevant and follows university guidelines. It covers core subjects and basics well, but students still need to do extra coding, projects, and internships on their own to become fully industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult. If we study regularly and practice previous papers, it is manageable. The pass percentage is generally high, and it is around 85-90. Most students clear exams with proper preparation.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in the tech field. There is a good placement record in PICT, so I chose this college. It gives a strong base in coding and core subjects. The best things are good placement opportunities, coding culture, helpful seniors, technical clubs, and hackathons. Many students get a chance to work on real projects and improve their skills. The course curriculum can be more updated with the latest industry tools. It should focus more on practical learning and less on theory, which will help students more. Events like the tech fest and the cultural fests are enjoyable. The campus crowd is competitive and motivating.

B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering - Batch of 2026
3.6
4Placements3Infrastructure2Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Good placements, great crowd, good food, okay facilities, bad faculty.
Placements: For E&TC, approximately 55-60% people get placed, of which the average CTC this year was 10.4. The highest and the lowest would be 22 and 4.5 on campus. Only 4-5 companies are core electronics, while 80-90 recruiters are IT-based. Top recruiters visit in the first 3 to 4 months, so preparation must begin before the 4th year. Notable companies include Siemens, B.M.C., MasterCard, Barclays, PhonePe, ION, ZS, PGS, eQ, and Oracle. There are many more; refer to the PDFs available on the official website. Summer internship drives start early in the 3rd year and offer strong PPO chances. Roles are SDE, DA, B.A. Cloud, QA, Hardware/firmware, and the founder's office.
Infrastructure: College is small, but the facilities, like labs and classes, are decent. The number of students is high, so extra lab practice is almost impossible. The library is good, books are plenty, and the space is also okay if you arrive in the morning. A hostel for both genders is good as it has been renovated. Better find local hostels in the area, like Union, Khade, or Stanza. The college canteen is good enough, but the surrounding area has better options. The college gym is small but very well-maintained. For sports, we only have students playing basketball, volleyball or cricket.
Faculty: While the teachers are well qualified, most of them are childish. They value the course, attendance, and timings more than students' personal growth. For pace of mind, other branches are better. The course curriculum is interesting and good. If you're interested, the faculty provides further support. Exams are okay too, but practicals are harder than theory papers here.
Other: The teachers could be more helpful. The club scene here is also pretty good for arts, dev, debate, sports, etc.

B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering - Batch of 2028
4.4

Small campus but big exploration.
Placements: There are so many companies that come to our college. Last year, nearly above 80 companies came. The count of placed students from CE and IT departments is much greater than the ENTC department. Only 10 percent of ENTC students are placed in tech companies. A few ENTC students are placed in Nvidia.
Infrastructure: The college provides unlimited Wi-Fi for all students on campus. Individual labs are available for each practical subject. But classrooms are limited, so we have to compromise on college timing. Because of that, some batches are taken late. The college library is beneficial for students. Overall, the campus size is small.
Faculty: Some teachers in our department are highly educated and very helpful. Their teaching method is very nice. The course curriculum is designed with entrance exam syllabus in mind, so it makes students ready from an industrial job perspective. The difficulty level of our semester exams is higher than SPPU exams, and the exams are conducted strictly.
Other: Because of the small campus size, the college ground is also small, so only limited sports are available for students. But in terms of educational purpose, the college is very supportive. Students can achieve the levels they dream of.

B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering - Batch of 2028

A step towards my engineering dreams.
Placements: About 90 percent of students are placed in PICT from the 2025 passout batch. The highest package offered is 46 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. The average is 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Phonepay, Arista, etc. Top roles offered are software development, management roles, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure facilities for electronics and telecommunication are not sufficient in PICT. Though the classrooms are big, the labs are not of sufficient size. Medical facilities are not very available, and sports facilities are also not very available because the college has no sports ground. College hostel rooms are good, but the canteen food is not good.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, but the age gap between the teachers and the students makes it difficult to connect with them. The content is not industry-ready, but it is the foundation for the industry-ready content, so I think that even though the content is not fully industry-ready, it makes the foundation for the students to be industry-ready. The semester exams are quite easy as this college is an autonomous college, but the pass percentage is less, it is about 85 to 90 percent.
Other: I chose this course because it was the best choice for me. I had a keen interest in learning electronics until the examination. There could be better laboratories so that we could learn electronics and telecommunication even better, because we, as hardware students, need many more things.

B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering - Batch of 2028

Satisfied because of the good placements of the college, and the good placements in 2022.
Placements: The batch I'm studying, B.E., is from 2024, and the course is Electronics and Telecommunication. Almost 95% students are placed from the ENTC batch this year (2025). The highest package is around 48 LPA, the average is 10-12 LPA, and the lowest is 8-9 LPA. Top recruiting companies for this course are like TCS, Infosys, Vipro, Microsoft, PhonePe, Paytm, etc. Almost 85% of students got internships in Accenture, Amazon, Wipro, Capgemini, and Morgan Stanley recruiting, though specific internship percentages vary by year and roles focusing on IT & core electronics. Top roles such as Developers, in Software Development, Core Electronics roles, and VLSI.
Infrastructure: PICT college has a well-established infrastructure with Wi-Fi available throughout the campus and in hostel rooms, modern classrooms, smart lecture halls, well-equipped labs for electronics, communication and computing, and a central library with a rich collection of books and online resources that support both academic and project work. The hostel is pretty good, having 24/7 hot water and Wi-Fi. The mess food is below average, not that good.
Faculty: Teachers are generally chill and helpful, having good knowledge of their respective courses. This course makes students fully prepared for the industry requirements. The semester exams are kind of medium, neither easy nor tough. The pass percentage is almost 40% above.
Other: The best thing is only the placements and the friends that you have made in your daily life. The campus area should be vast. Events, fests and other things have occurred eventually, but not that much as expected for the first time. Generally, because of the small area of the campus, events and fests are not that good.

Underrated college of Maharashtra.
Placements: As I am currently in first year. So last year the number was around 99%. In my branch last year, the batch of 2025 which graduated got 12 LPA average in computer engineering branch, and the highest package was around 56 LPA offered by Amazon. The lowest is around 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are NiCE, Mastercard, Adobe, and PhonePe. Around 80-85% of students got internships in my branch/course which is like on campus internships. Top roles offered in my course are SDE, data analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: As we know the college campus is quite small i.e., less than 6 acres. So the infrastructure is not as good as the premier institutes in India. But I would say it is still better than most of colleges in Maharashtra that are government. Wi-Fi and labs are great but classrooms and library needs the upgrade for sure. As I don't live in college hostel so I can't give information about college facilities. But they are average as started by my batchmates who are also hostelite in PICT hostel. But my female friends says that girls hostel is way better than boys.
Faculty: Professors here are top qualified in their field. As I have only done semester 1 so I don't know about next year faculty members but as I heard from my seniors they are also good. Course curriculum is market oriented, and changes as the market changes. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams here are easier compared to top colleges out there in India. Passing percentage is also good.
Other: As my interest is always in computers and this is best choice out there for me. So I chose it over ENTC in COEP, Pune. The best thing about this course is that the branch is way chill or say relaxing than other branches in PICT. I think that the infrastructure could be better, and if each classroom has digital screens, then it would also be beneficial for students. They should change the syllabus of first year. It includes some irrelevant topics that are not useful after 4 years. But overall curriculum is great.
