Our college provides a good number of placement activities.
Placements: More than 80% of the students get placed with a good salary package every year. The highest salary package offered by Google is 12 LPA, and the minimum salary package offered is 4 LPA. Around 75% of the students got an internship during their studying time. Top recruiting companies like TCS, HCL, Zoho, etc., visit our college for placements. Most of the students get placed with a better role.
Infrastructure: The college hostels have well-planned rooms for every student. The college hostel students are benefitted from some extra classes and lab sessions compared to the day scholars. Apart from academics, hostel students are also encouraged in extracurricular activities like sports, non-technical events, etc. The college has a fully arranged and well-developed library for the students.
Faculty: Faculty members in our institution are well-qualified with PhD degrees in their respective fields. Their teaching is are excellent, so most of the portion is covered within the classes. The course curriculum helps the students to learn in an easy way. Semester exams are conducted in a well-organised manner. The difficulty level of exams is average. The pass percentage is more than 40%.
Other: I have chosen this course because of the jobs offered, and the demand for electronic and instrumentation engineers are increasing. By this course, we will know about electronics as well as technology.

It is a comparatively good engineering college with average placements.
Placements: Placement is the ultimate goal of colleges nowadays. RMD engineering college provides good placements, as the college is located near Chennai. Lots of tier 1 and tier 2 companies used to visit the campus for placements. Most of the students got placed in the software industry from my batch.
Infrastructure: Apart from academics, the college used to give importance to sports as well. The campus has a football ground, cricket ground and two volleyball courts. Wi-Fi is provided in the college. There are some restrictions in the hostel. Labs are quite good and well-maintained.
Faculty: The course curriculum followed in our college is designed by Anna University. Most of the staff members are postgraduates. Only a few like HOD and principal are doctorate holders. An industrial visit is compulsory, and we had at least one industrial visit per year from second year onwards. The student to faculty ratio is 20:1.

It provides a perfect college life.
Placements: Our college has a good placement record. Almost 80% of the students got placed in top companies. In our course, the highest salary package offered is around 20 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 6-7 LPA. Almost 75% of the students got internships in AICTE and the central government internship scheme.
Infrastructure: RMD Engineering College has a good infrastructure with all kinds of labs and workstations. Hostellers have access to the Wi-Fi connection with good speed and internet. The quality of food available in the mess is very good and hygienic. They also have an indoor and outdoor stadium for sports consisting of a huge area and very comfortable for students to practice and relax.
Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly and helpful towards students. Many faculty members hold doctorates. The college also offers many extra courses beyond the syllabus for the welfare of students. They also provide the best smart classes and webinars for students so that they can easily understand.
Other: Our college conducts many events such as inter-college cultural events, which includes a symposium, poster presentation, webinars, etc. They also have a good transport facility which is very helpful for students.

Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate.
Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.
