I am absolutely satisfied mainly with the food they provide in this college.

Placements: Our college offers decent placement and 85 percent of the students are placed in this 2026 batch. The highest package is from the CSBS department which is of 60 LPA and the lowest is of 3 LPA. The top roles are the data analyst, cloud engineer, software analyst, and cybersecurity analyst.

Infrastructure: Our college offers a decent infrastructure when compared to the hostel. When it comes to hostels, especially for girls, it comes with strict rules and regulations. Even the chairman cannot visit the girls' hostel, which makes our college a safer college, especially for girls.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and when it comes to academics, the faculty members care more than we do. When it comes to teaching quality, our college stands first as an autonomous college. Our college, especially our department, has 30 teaching faculty members, out of these 30 teaching faculty members, half of them are PhD holders. The remaining ones are pursuing PhDs. Therefore, the teaching quality is best when it comes to our college.

Placements: R.M.D Engineering College, Chennai, has a consistent placement record for engineering students especially in core and IT-related branches. For recent branches, around 65-78 percent of students got successfully placed across various courses with computer science and IT branches having relatively higher placement rates. The highest package offered is approximately 20 LPA, the average package ranges between 4 LPA to 5 LPA, and the lowest package is around 2.5 to 3 LPA depending on the company and role. Top companies like Zoho, Infosys, and TCS etc., visits to our campus.

Infrastructure: R.M.D Engineering College provides good infrastructure and facilities for the course and department. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled and the classrooms are clean and well-ventilated, equipped with projectors and smart teaching tools. The department was well-maintained, with computers and core laboratories with updated software and sufficient systems for practical learning. The central library is well stocked with textbooks, reference books, journals, digital resources, and comfortable study environments for students. Hostel facilities are satisfactory with clean rooms, and regular water and electricity supply are provided. Mess and canteen food quality is decent, hygienic, and offers both vegetarian options with a health center along with good sports and game facilities including playgrounds.

Faculty: The faculty members at R.M.D Engineering College are qualified, experienced and knowledgeable, with most of them holding postgraduate degrees and some having doctorates. Teachers are helpful and supportive, explaining concepts clearly and encouraging students to ask questions. Though teaching quality may vary from faculty to faculty, the course curriculum affiliated with Anna University is relevant and well-structured covering both theoretical foundations and practical applications which helps students gain basic industry-required knowledge. The semester exams are of moderate difficulty, and the pass percentage is usually around 85-90 percent.

Other: I chose this course at R.M.D Engineering College because of my interest in technology and its good reputation for engineering education under Anna University. The best things about the course are the strong theoretical foundation, availability of practical labs, and opportunities to learn programming, problem solving, and project development. The college conducts various technical events, workshops, symposiums and cultural fests, which help students improve and diversify, creating a comfortable learning environment.

I would recommend students to join this college.

Placements: Placements are decent. Many top recruiting companies visit our college for recruitment. The average salary package offered ranges between 3 LPA - 4 LPA. The minimum salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Laboratory is very good. The food quality is decent. Mobile phones are not allowed on campus. Sports are conducted. Bus services are available for day scholars. I would rate it 3 stars out of 5 for facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is average. They also provide in-depth knowledge to students. Semester exams are moderate.

Good for placements.

Placements: 87% students got placed from our course. The highest package is 12.3 LPA, lowest is 3.6 LPA and average is 4.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are zoho, Cognicent and TCS. 70% students got internship in Zoho and TCS.

Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi and integrated labs with Apple computer labs, good clean classrooms and library with more than 80000 books are available. The food in hostel is superb with a 5 star rating from fssai. 4 playgrounds, 2 basketball courts and 6 tennis courts are there. A hospital is also present for students.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified with PhD and they are with over 30 years of experience. They are good enough. The course is curriculum relevant and it makes students industry ready. Semester exams are somewhat difficult and the pass percentage is 80.

Great infrastructure and environment for students to gain knowledge.

Placements: Our college has a placement percentage of 89%. The highest salary offered by Zoho was 9 Lacs per annum and the least salary offered was 2.4 Lacs per annum and the average salary offered was 4.7 Lacs. The top recruiting companies were TCS, CTS, Infosys, Wipro, Zoho, Tech Mahindra, L&T, etc.

Infrastructure: Our course has Facilities with COE in many domains and have so many laboratory facilities with advanced and improved equipments having high-quality performance. Hostel has many facilities like Gym, Beauty Parlour, etc.

Faculty: Faculty was extremely knowledgeable and gave lots of information about the present technology and software world. The faculty have good knowledge of the subject and teach us with in-depth information about the topic and make us gain knowledge.

Review of R.M.D. Engineering College.

Placements: Around 83% of students from our batch got placed. The lowest salary package offered was 3.25 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 5.3 LPA. TCS, Accenture and HCL were the top recruiting companies of our course. A software developer is a major role offered to the students. The salary offered ranges between Rs. 20,000-35,000 per month. More than 90% of students did an internship in various companies like BSNL, Ramco Systems, etc.

Infrastructure: The college provides excellent hostel facility with the best quality food. It provides a fully equipped gym and labs with the latest and modern equipment. It provides good medical facilities and facilitated playgrounds. Highly qualified and student-friendly trainers were available in the hostel gym.

Faculty: Our college was delivering a very high standard quality of education. Teachers in our college were highly qualified and knowledgeable. All the faculty members were friendly with students to help and share knowledge anytime on any matter with industrial standards.

RMD stood top 3 in top colleges in Tamil Nadu.

Placements: Placements will be yearly once and day 0 has prominent companies like Zoho, TCS and Wipro. Nearly 90% students get placed every year. Placements are taken care and will make sure every student is placed. Upto 60 companies visit college every academic year.

Infrastructure: College was well furnished. Every class room contains of wooden benches and each department contains their own seminar halls that are air conditioned and these seminar halls used for guest lectures. Very speed Wi-Fi with student login helps us to seek and gather more information.

Faculty: There are 150+ teaching staff for our college and we'll qualified. Head of the departments are doctorate holders and many pursued their doctorates and faculty are friendly to students and helpful always. We'll educated and experienced staff are allocated to students.

Other: Every year college day is conducted and hostel meetings are conducted. Chairman helps sportsmen and people who have extra curricular activities talents.

The best college, food, absolutely satisfaction about the study and soft skills, good placement.

Placements: R.M.D college is very good and ranks 1st in the placements all over Tamil Nadu. In my seniors batch 85% people are placed, and in my batch, 90% people are placed. The height of the placements record has achieved for my batch and to my seniors batch. The major companies like CTS, Wipro, Tech Mahendra, etc. visited the campus.

Infrastructure: The college has the best infrastructure in the classroom. There is a complete floor dedicated to the computer lab, in which there is mac lab, they have Wi-Fi facility for the hostelers and laptop is allowed for the hostelers. The college gives much importance to sports also they have all major sports ground.

Faculty: The facility of the college is good, but some faculty will give preference to Tamil students at my time, other than that all are good. The course curriculum they follow is Anna University, but the Anna University should update the course curriculum. But in RMD college they teach new updated technology for only to those students who secured best grades. In my point of view, all the good grades people are not good programmers.

Other: The college organizes annually day every year for the students.
