The college was better, but it needs to improve placements.

Placements: Almost 50% of students got placed between the year 2016-17. The average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, L & T, etc., visited our campus for placements. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. Almost 70% of students got internships in Eco Railway, R & B Department, PWD Department of Odisha, RSP, Jindal etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. The college conducts games and extracurricular activities. There is a central library, and it is available for 24x7. The quality of the food and hostel facilities was awesome. There are a central canteen and cafeteria is also available here. There is a welfare department, and it is responsible for medical facilities.

Faculty: Lecturers in our college were very knowledgeable. Teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it is mostly based on practical knowledge and site visit. I suggest our college students to go through the theory classes as well as practical classes.

Other: I want to become a civil engineer, so I have chosen that course. There should conduct more practical sessions on road construction, building construction and about other structures.

It is one of the good colleges affiliated to BPUT.

Placements: When I passed out from REC in the year 2016, the placement cell of REC was good, and the placement head was very supportive. Placements in college were average. The placement rate of the college was 40%, but it is nearly 60% now. Companies like Digi Cell, Sutherland, Amazon, Cryptex Technology, Global Service Pvt Ltd, etc., visited the campus for placements. I got placed in Digi Cell Pvt Ltd, and my friend got placed in Sutherland. Very few core companies visit the campus for placements of civil, EE and ECE branches. Mostly BPO and software companies visit for campus selections. The average salary package offered was 2 LPA, Off-campus drives were also conducted by our college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructural design of college is very good. It is divided into two blocks, and each department has its individual floor. I am from the civil engineering department. Our labs were too good, and all the apparatus were in working condition. Other departments also have good labs. A central library and E-library are available. There are two boys hostel and 1 girls hostel on the campus which are built by our management. There are a big playground and a beautiful garden available on the campus. The canteen in hostel was good, but the quality of food was not good. Apart from college canteen, there are a cafeteria and juice centre available.

Faculty: The college offers mainly diploma, B.Tech, and MBA courses. The different departments for B.Tech are mechanical, civil, CSE, ECE, EE, EEE. There are mechanical and civil engineering courses in diploma courses. Experienced faculty members and young faculty members are present in the college. The lab assistants are also knowledgeable.

Other: The college is located far away from the main city. The college focuses on the co-curricular activities of students. The college management also conducts different events like annual function, cricket tournament, and other sports.

Students can learn many things in the college, and it is the best college.

Placements: The college provides good placements. Many students get placed on campus. Basically, the companies that visit the college are from Pune and Bangalore, but the package offered is not good. A lot of companies visit the college and conduct interviews to select the suitable students.

Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure. A minimum of 7-8 buildings are present on the campus, and every building is 5-6 storeyed. The college has 3 canteens, cafeteria, juice parlour, and fast food centre. The campus is spread over 10 hectares of land. There is a ladies hostel in the college. A cricket field, football ground, basketball ground, parking ground and many other facilities are available.

Faculty: The college offers many courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, BCA, B.A, +2, arts, commerce, science, diploma, etc. The college has more than 50 faculty members and other staff. All the teachers are helpful. They help us with everything. They conduct doubt clearing classes after the college hours. They help us with our project work. They care for us like a guardian. The course curriculum is very good and helpful.

Other: Our college located near Mancheswar railway station. The college has good infrastructure. The campus is peaceful. The college conducts many events like annual function, and an annual cricket tournament is conducted, where the students of all branches participate and do their best. The college provides transportation facilities.

Other: Really nice college under BPUT but there is a transportation problem. Otherwise, all the faculty members are also good and of a helping nature. It's good for your career, not for your placement. Studies are very serious, not other activities. So many people said that the college is not good but as per my experience, if you don't have that much of money for studies, then only you can select this college. Placements are not that good, so I would suggest you to not give money for placements.

Other: As per infrastructure and faculty members are concerned, REC is a very good college. But placement record is not good. Faculty members are very friendly and cooperative. As compared to other colleges in Bhubaneswar, this college is near to the city. You will feel good about the college after looking at its infrastructure.

Other: I studied in this college from 2008 to 2012 batch in Computer Science Engineering. Lecturers in this college are good. They will always help you out in every problem that you faced. Every year a tech fest will be there which is managed by students and some lecturers and that part is good. Hostel for students is there inside the campus. But communication is problem if you are planning go outside of the campus. Coming to placement, very poor placement like you will get more off campus but on campus is less. So you need to hard work to get placement.

Other: Good thing was it's in Bhubaneswar and had the course I wanted, communication was poor connecting roads were in bad condition, faculties were average, placements were very poor and not worthy So overall experience was average. Hope in coming days it will get improved and provide a better studying and placements center for students.

Other: Raajdhani Engineering College aka REC is one of the private college in Odisha affiliated by BPUT. College is far away from Bhubaneswar Town as it is situated near Mancheswar Railway station. College has well maintained class rooms, library and separate hostel facilities for boys as well as girls. There is a lack of Wi-Fi facilities in the college campus. Also there is high scarcity of experienced Faculty members. Campus Placement is also not so good.
