Good placements in 2017, really good infrastructure and facilities

Placements: 90% students got placed in IT companies and a very good T&P department worked for the all students of the college. It was easy to crack technical interviews. They provided PDP Classes as well. The placement scenario is quite commendable, with several premier industries visiting Raj Kumar Goel Engineering College.

Infrastructure: It has Wi-Fi on the campus. There are four hostels in which two are for girls and two for boys. Hostels have 24-hours Wi-Fi. There are well-maintained classrooms for engineering students. There is a library for all students. They can issue any book for 14 days. It has medical facilities with an emergency ambulance. There are different types of playgrounds for football, cricket, racket, kabaddi, basketball, etc. Good quality food is served in hostels.

Faculty: Good faculty members are there for first-year and second-year students. For third and fourth-year students, teachers are average. I had good experience with all faculty members. They deserved respect in the college whether they are professors or dean or director or any assistant.

Other: It is an average private college for engineering. All faculty members are educated and some of them are IITians. It has a very good director. It is a college of Raj Kumar Goel Group of Institutions.

Other: The college has a brand name of Raj Kumar Goel Group, but the facilities we got were not up to the mark. As far as training and placement activities are concerned, there were very few companies and most companies were BPOs (the major placement was in GENPACT). I was in the 5th batch of the college, but now the things have changed and faculty team has changed. New initiatives have been taken in all the areas here.

Candidate has to have completed 10+2 of CBSE pattern or its equivalent with the above-mentioned minimum total percentage in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics provided the applicant has passed in each subject separately. Candidate also have passed English as a subject of study (core/ elective/ functional) in the qualifying examination. Blind (including colour blind), deaf and/or dumb Admission in these courses depends on candidate eligibility. Candidate must not be over 21 years old at admission.Candidate should have at least passed qualified exam from an AICTE accredited Institution. Candidate must have passed B.Sc. degree from any recognized University as defined by UGC or have 50% marks in aggregate without any grace. 45% marks for SC/ST Category passed XII grade with Mathematics as a subject and at least 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST Category) in total without grace.

Counselling
Admission is through counselling based on the rank obtained in Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE). Remaining vacant seats will be filled through rank obtained in JEE Mains.
