Simply the best college in Delhi NCR - faculty-wise, study-wise and facility-wise.

Placements: The placement department works hard for placements in core industries. I faced 10-12 interviews during my final year, out of which I had cleared 3, and 2 among the three were in core profile. Also, they offer in-house PCB design training, frequent workshops, and seminars. Pre-placement activities are very useful for weaker students. CS students have the greater probability of getting placements than EC.

Infrastructure: In the infrastructure, not a single thing can be rated as poor. There is a cafeteria, separate hostels, hygienic washrooms, many labs, and different seminar halls for respective departments. Also, there is a lot of greenery. Everything is appreciable including the Wi-Fi, the hostel and, various hygienic foods on various days.

Faculty: The faculty is really supportive. I'll never forget my HOD - Mr Chauhan sir. He had an effective grip on the department. Director sir was also humble and polite. Faculty uses modern facilities, but some were not up to the mark. Also, GATE classes are provided in the last semester.

Other: Various extracurricular activities, parties, tech fests, sports etc., are the regular practices of this college. Being one among the RKG groups, RKGEC students also get opportunities to be part of the placements and other activities in RKGIT and RKGITW. Mr Dinesh Goel is successfully upgrading all their educational institutions. I even got admission through university counselling at a low price.

Candidate must have completed 10+2 of CBSE pattern or equivalent with the above-mentioned minimum aggregate percentage in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. Candidate additionally must have passed English as a subject of study (core/ elective/ functional) in the qualifying examination. Blind (including colour blind), deaf and/or dumb candidates shall not be eligible for admission in these courses. Candidate must not be beyond 21 years at the time of admission.

Candidate must have passed qualifying examination from an AICTE approved Institution with at least 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST Category) in aggregate without any grace.

Candidates must have passed B.Sc. degree from any recognized University as defined by UGC with at least 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST Category) in aggregate without any grace and passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject.

Counselling
Admission is through counselling based on the rank obtained in Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE). Remaining vacant seats will be filled through rank obtained in JEE Mains.
