Studying in one of the top 10 colleges of UPTU is a mixed experience.
Placements: Placements in our college were good. Due to the recession, the placements graph dropped a bit, but still, the college was able to place around 60% of the students. Students were offered the highest salary package of 4 LPA and the lowest salary package of 2.5 LPA. The companies such as HCL, Capgemini, Dell, TCS, Ericsson, Aon Hewitt, etc., visited our college for the campus placement campaign. Students were offered the designations of customer support executive, technical support officer, software developer, and some other roles in domains like coding, testing, network engineering etc. The internships were offered based on students' interests. Students can go and join any reputed firm for internships. Most of us joined companies like CEL, BEL, and BHEL, etc. As we are from the EC department, we were not offered any stipends. We have to take up the projects and make our presentations on the projects accomplished.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was quite good. We have 2 libraries with all the books. One can take 4 books at a time, and this system was very helpful for us. Labs are full of electronic equipment which helps us to understand the experiment very precisely with accurate readings. The Wi-Fi facility was available in the hostel and in the library. Our hostel is very spacious. The hostel rooms were available on the basis of single, double and triple occupancies. There are specific timings for the students to have their breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the hostel. The food offered was very delicious most of the times. Although students face some issues at times, each one of them got sorted out by the warden or the college authority. The college also has a medical room with a nurse who was available 24X7.
Faculty: We have at least 2-3teachers for each subject, and everyone was so helpful in terms of resolving queries. They are highly knowledgeable, and each one of them has their own teaching strategies. Some used to teach us with notes, and some faculty use table format. Some faculty also use the question-answer format to make us understand well. Since they use these methods, one can learn the concepts in the syllabus very easily.
Other: The college organises a fest every year in which students perform according to their interests; some students participate in singing competitions, and some students participate in the dance competitions. The college was located in a very good area, and the connectivity is very good. There were scholarship programmes for students whose family income was less than 3 LPA.

It is an average college and its placements need to be improved.
Placements: Placements in the college for our batch were below average. Most of the candidates are dependent on off-campus interviews. The college doesn't invite enough companies for campus placements. Those students who got placed were offered an average salary package of around 3 LPA. There is a placement cell in our college which needs to work more to improve the placement scenario.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. We have labs in each department. The library does not have enough new edition books. The quality of labs and classrooms is good, and they are spacious. Earlier this college was only for women, but now it is also open for boys. Quality of food served was good during our time.
Faculty: We have qualified teachers who are helpful. As the college provides limited opportunities, teachers work hard to give in-depth knowledge to students. The faculty to student ratio was good. We were provided industry exposure in 3rd and 4th year. The course curriculum was based on the latest guidelines of AICTE.
Other: The location of the college in Ghaziabad enables better connectivity to all places. The campus crowd is good, and there are always good and healthy vibes on the campus. Our college also organises an annual fest.

Absolutely satisfied with faculty members but not with placements.
Placements: Placements for our branch were not that good. However, placements for other branches were quite good. Approximately, 70% of the students got placed. The average salary package offered was 3-4 LPA. Companies like Trigent, Infogain, Infotech, Wipro, etc., visited the campus for placements. Students got placements through pool campus drives. There is a placement cell in the college which helps students to get good jobs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college was not very good, but it was quite satisfactory. Labs and classrooms were very good and air-conditioned. There was a separate playground to play many games. There was a very good canteen and the quality of food served was very good. I haven't faced any issues related to the infrastructure of our college during my tenure.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were very helpful, well qualified and knowledgeable. Their quality of teaching was very good, and they were very supportive in every aspect. They completed the syllabus in the given time. They provided very good notes and study material to the students.

Overall, you can have a good experience here. You might feel like you are wasting your time.
Placements: Placements for the last year batch were good but not as they promised. Most of the students were placed from the batch. The highest salary package offered was 9 LPA. Mostly, all the major companies visit here for placements. All the students were offered internships. Our college has a placement cell, and it is very helpful for students who have placement related queries.
Infrastructure: There are more than 15 classes for a batch of 1,000 students. The whole campus is enabled with Wi-Fi facility, but we need a proxy and a laptop for accessing the internet as we cannot access it from mobile. Labs and classrooms are in good condition. We have only one canteen which provides only chips and cold drinks. The mess provides the worst food. Hostel rooms are good and big.
Faculty: Teachers in the college are helpful, but we have very fewer faculty members. We have only 4-5 professors as rest of them are assistant professors. Many of the professors teach two subjects as there is a lack of teaching staff. Till now, we have been provided only one industry visit which was about motivation and was helpful.
Other: There are very fewer events organised in the college. The campus is small, and the crowd is very less for an engineering college.

Satisfactory because some teachers are very good. Which is the farmost need. Rest is just okay.
Placements: Placement was not at all good. For good placement we had to go for off campus. Where our college had no role to play. They make almost all students get places no matter company gives 5k per month or not suirable profile and even if the company is fake. Their target is to show 100% placement which they accomplish in every possible way.
Infrastructure: Alll necessary facilities available. Wi-Fi doea not work most of the time. Games and sports are taken up only twice a year, once on engineers day and second at the time of fest. In labs more than student the lab attendent explores. Medical facility is never used when needed.
Faculty: Faculty is very helpful. Some teachers have great knowledge And take initiatives for great entrepreneur projects in different aspects. Some faculty just try completing the lecture time. Course curriculum is completion is done is any possible way like teaching or just giving assignments.
Other: College does not participate in inter college activities.

Moderately satisfied as many things are great like faculties, events, canteen, placement, etc.
Placements: The placement record of RKGITM is very well. Right now I am studying but my seniors batch got approximately 80% placement record. The highest package till now in this college is 6-7 Lacs per annum and the lowest is 2-3 Lacs. Generally the students got roles as according to their skills for example- if you have good verbal skills then they can hire you as a consultant or etc. Our college don't provide internship and that a draw back in my opinion. Yes, there is a placement cell in the college and it is very useful. They prepare us for interviews by conducting several activities every semester.
Infrastructure: The facilities offered by the college are number less but as a coin have two faces there are also lack of facilities. There is Wi-Fi 24/7 you have to just bring your laptop and they connect the connection to it. The labs, classrooms are well maintained, there are projectors provided in each class and teachers use them for teaching. There is no medical facility in college and that is the biggest problem else sports and games are done annually by conducting sports fest. The food quality is very well at canteen (I think that's the reason why its costly there) Hostels are not so well, they don't have proper food in hostels and quality is also not so good. The biggest issue in college is food quality in hostels, Medical facility and control of teachers on students.
Faculty: Yes, all the teachers are well qualified and they teach very well. All teachers use projectors, models even sometimes internet to teach well. Well there are many students in other branches in my branch I think there are approximately 70-80 students and there are 12-15 faculty in my branch so the ratio of students to faculty will be 16:3 (approximately). Yes, we got a industrial visit once in a four year of our course and the course curriculum is also useful all subjects are linked to the branch and teach us in details for example- we have a subject signals & system and communication in next year and these both two subjects are useful if you are planing to make career in communication filed.
Other: There are annually sports fest, farewell, technical events are happening. There are so much to learn from them. Not only on studies the college also doing events on other activities like- digital marketing, web designing, web security etc. Campus have not so much crowd right know but don't know what happens after 1-2 year. Campus surrounding is also good now very well. Rest my rating for college is 7/10 :-).

Other: RKGITW has a good atmosphere for study. All professors have great technical knowledge. But college has a drawback, it doesn't support much for co-curricular activities. RKGITW is now collaborating with IIT Roorkee, which gives new height to the college. Placement in RKGITW is average. Our placement department works a lot to get the companies for students.
