Review of Rajagiri College of Social Sciences
Placements: I am doing B.Com computer applications with a value-added Certification course (Wiley Certified Business Analyst). The placement opportunities for this course are pretty high between 70-80% of students got placed last year. Our batch also expects the same result as we pass out next year. Top recruiting companies are EY, ICICI, Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: Campus has all beneficial facilities such as smart classes, a cafe, lab, auditorium, Wi-Fi, an indoor stadium and outdoor as well, basketball court, a vast car parking facility, recreation area, chapel, gym, bakery etc. College hostels are top-notch as both boys and girls hostels are good. Food is provided 3 times a day non-veg almost every day and has laundry facilities, gym, games area, chapel, rooms with sufficient space etc.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, most of them hold a Ph.D. Coaching levels are top-notch and helpful in every aspect for a student. Semester exams are easy if you prepare well. The pass percentage is around 35%.

The college has a good infrastructure. It has a clean and green campus.
Placements: I am still undergoing my UG course. I have heard a lot about the placement opportunities on campus. Our seniors got a pretty decent job offer with a decent amount of salary. Students got placed into reputed and established companies like EY, Deloitte, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is top-rated. It has well-furnished classrooms. It has an eco-friendly and green campus. Wi-Fi is available on the campus and hostel. It has one of the largest libraries with a large amount of book collection and great computer labs. Hostels are kept very neat and clean. Good food is provided in both canteen and hostel mess.
Faculty: I feel the course is a bit outdated. It does not prepare you for the real corporate world. The curriculum should include prevalent subjects currently. End semester and internal examinations are conducted on time, and results are also published without any delays. Faculty members are good and friendly.
Other: Extra curriculum is very poor in the campus. No exposure is provided to the students. More focus is on passing the examinations .

Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Kalamassery is one of the best.
Placements: I was a 2019 passed out student. During my tenure, my friends had an aggregate of between 60%-90% in the course when they got placed. But only a few students opted for placements because most of them want to opt for higher studies. The average salary offered in placements was about Rs. 6,000-8,000 per month in our college.
Infrastructure: Compared to other colleges, I think Rajagiri is the best in terms of course and hostel. I stayed in Social hostel near Rajagiri, and it has all the amenities. We can select rooms according to our preference. The mess was clean, and the food served was also fine.
Faculty: The thing which I like the most about Rajagiri is the teachers. Teachers are very friendly, and they are experienced. They are willing to help in any aspect, whether it is about conducting a programme or doing an assignment.
Other: I have chosen this course to start a business. I suggest our college to add new subjects to our course.

Facilities are good. Value for money is not that great, and placements are weak.
Placements: Percentage of students who got placed in our course was significantly very low. About 2 or 3 of them got placed. The highest salary offered was about Rs. 30,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was about Rs. 15,000 per month. Top companies which came to our college for recruitment were Oyo Rooms and Sutherland. Around 10 to 15% of the students applied for an internship on their own during the semester break and got an internship. Top roles offered were mainly in the sales department, and others were in call centre jobs.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of our college were excellent. We had large computer labs and a two-floor library. We were provided with high-speed internet within the campus. I was a day scholar. All the classrooms had projector screens, and the computer labs could accommodate more than 300 students. The library had a huge collection of journals and books.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. They would clear our doubts by providing examples. The course makes students understand all aspects of business and accounting. Teachers were highly qualified and experienced with more than 20 years of teaching experience.
Other: The placement cell needs a slight improvement as the companies that came for recruitment was very low. The course is a bit on the expensive side. The value for money is not that great.

Infrastructure and teachers were better, but the rules in our college were a bit more than expected.
Placements: About 40% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. Companies like Wipro, Oyo and ESAF Bank recruit students from here. More than 80% of the students got an internship programme in their course period.
Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure, our college has the best library and smart classrooms. Hostel rooms are well-furnished, and there are also a food court and other facilities. There is a gym with every equipment for men and women separately, along with qualified trainers.
Faculty: Teachers were well-educated, and their experience in teaching was helpful to gain average knowledge. Many experienced business people regularly visit our college to share their experience and thoughts with students. The course curriculum was highly relevant.
Other: I have chosen this course because I always thought to start my own company. College life was very wonderful with fests and sports events.
