Satisfied with the college life.

Placements: The college offers average or above average placements. Force motors hires top students for the role of wiring harness engineers with a package of 5 LPA. TCS hired 2 students for a digital role with 6.5 LPA package. Both core as well as IT companies visit the college for on-campus placements. 60% students got placements. Internships are a part of the syllabus in the eight semester, we need to do a 3 months internship.

Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is always clean and well maintained, but it has become old now. We have 2 canteens in the campus. The college does not give more attention to sports, the events are held only once in a year. Our labs are good along with having a virtual lab for practicals. Hostel is decent and I personally do not like the food, it’s the same kind of curry cooked everyday. Medical facilities like first aid kits are present in every department.

Faculty: We have a virtual library and other labs for MATLAD coding. Teachers prepare us to face interviews and final exams. Many mock tests are conducted before the exams along with mock interviews before placements. Electrical engineering has a wide scope in MSEB government jobs as well as we can go for IT’s circuit branch.

Other: Scholarships are given but the process is very long. We need to fill a form and after analyzing the student’s backgrounds, scholarships are given according to the category.

It is an autonomous college since 2011.

Placements: More than 95% of students get placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA and the average salary package is 3.6 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, KPIT, Pari, Tata, Barat Forge, and many more. Around 100% of students get internships at this college. It is one of the best colleges in Western Maharashtra.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good with a good building. It has a good atmosphere to study with a library that won 1st prize from AICTE. Many national and international sports are held on behalf of some events.

Faculty: All the teachers in our college are good, well-qualified, knowledgeable, and experienced. Semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is 98.33%. Some students fail in 1 or 2 subjects.

Other: Our college has a beautiful lawn. It organises many events and fests.

Top roles offered are manager and assistant manager.

Infrastructure: Our college provides good facilities and infrastructure. Our department has 5 floors. We have a green energy lab and a thermodynamics lab on the first floor. The library is one of the best in Maharashtra.

Faculty: All teachers are well-educated in their subjects. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. Our course curriculum is the best. The pass percentage is 40%. Exams are conducted strictly.

It is an amazing institute and it is worth enrolling here.

Placements: Around 80% of the students got placed from college. Those who didn't get placed wanted to pursue higher education. In the final year, a student is given 4 choices for the 8th semester, he gets to choose either an internship, a capstone project, research, or entrepreneurship development.

Infrastructure: Well-equipped labs are available for students as and when needed. Nearly 500 Mbps Wi-Fi is available which gets distributed among users. Basketball court, volleyball court, football ground, indoor badminton court are available for students. The quality of food served in the hostel is certainly above average as one would expect from a hostel mess. The doctor is available on the hostel and his charges are included in the hostel fees. In case a student needs immediate hospitalisation, an ambulance of the hostel is also available.

Faculty: The teaching quality is high and all doubts of students are cleared. As the institute is an autonomous one, the curriculum is designed specifically for today's industry needs. Teachers not only focus on completing the syllabus but also how a student will be industry-ready. Digital teaching methods are incorporated rather than conventional teaching methods.

Other: I chose this course keeping in mind the future trends the industry may develop. Teachers not only help us to gain knowledge but also in the personal growth of students. They are supportive of extra-curricular activities. Department wise events are organised around the year. Even the college clubs regularly organises workshops and training. The annual college festival of 3 days and is organised every year. Locals, hostel students, and even international students create a cohesive environment. Government-funded scholarships are available for deserving students.

Faculty is very good. Placement is good. Infrastructure and facilities are very good.

Placements: I am Electrical Engineering student at RIT Islampur. Percentage of students placed in my course is about 50%. The highest package is 3.65 LPA and the lowest is 1.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are KPIT, TCS etc. At RIT there is four track system for 8th Sem. It includes 1) Industrial internship & project 2) Entrepreneurship Development 3) Project 4) Research. Students can choose any one track of four for last semester.

Infrastructure: For electrical department all the facilities are there like well-equipped laboratories, new infrastructure, Wi-Fi, Digital Classrooms etc. Infrastructure of hostel is very good. There is Wi-Fi available at hostel. Hostel has its own ambulance for emergencies.

Faculty: Teachers of Electrical engineering Department are very helpful and qualified. They are good at teaching. They are always ready to help. Lab assistants are knowledgeable and helpful. Laboratories are well-equipped. Department also plans guest lectures which are helpful for students.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: About 80% of the students got placed. The average salary package offered is around 3-4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 6LPA. Bharat Forge, Bajaj, TCS, etc., companies visit our campus for recruiting students. They offered good posts for students who placed in their companies.

Infrastructure: Labs, classrooms, college library, and hostel all are well facilitated. We have a free Wi-Fi facility in college as well in the hostel, and all kinds of required books are there in our library and study rooms. Medical facilities are also there, and good quality of food students get in mess and canteen.

Faculty: Teachers present in our department as well as in other departments all are helpful and well qualified. Their teaching quality is too good. They are always ready to guide students and help students to get solutions. Our teacher always tries to make students industry-ready.

Other: I was always curious about how electricity is generated and transferred from one place to another and how all equipment works on it. I am also quite good at imaging the things and electrical engineering is full of imagination and curiosity, so I preferred this course. Many events are organised on our campus, and they all help us to improve ourselves.

Strongly satisfied with the culture, facilities and infrastructure.

Placements: Last year, our department has a placement of 92%. Our batch will pass out in 2020 and out of 69 students 17 are placed till now. Still, the count will increase in upcoming days. The companies visited our department are KPIT, TCS, Wipro, Bharat Forge, UL group, Dhoot transmissions. The highest salary offered for my course was 3.6 LPA by KPIT. The average package offered is 2.8 LPA. 13 students from my course got 6-month internships in different companies last year.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure provided by our department is quite good. The labs are well-equipped with all the safety instruments and first-aid kits. All the machines are there in labs with which students can perform all the experiments and some project works. The college has given a separate high-speed Wi-Fi network. The college is having 250 KVA generators for uninterrupted power supply. The college library has a collection of 98000+ books. E-book facility is also available. The library is located in a beautiful 3 story building with reading rooms and a cafeteria at top. The Hostel rooms are also good. The food provided by college mess is good at low cost I. e. 1800/- per month. Doctor visits every day in the hostel for 2-3 hours. Also, an ambulance is there for the students in emergency situations. Volleyball, Football, basketball ground is provided by the college. One canteen and two fast-food centres are there.

Faculty: The faculty in our department is well qualified M.Tech. And Ph.D. Holders. The teachers are very helping in nature. Most of the teachers are student-centred. They work for the students. They have good knowledge of their respective fields. The teaching quality is also good. As RIT is an autonomous institute, it has set their curriculum in such a way that it will correlate with the industry and hence the student will be industry-ready engineers.

Other: I have chosen this course because I have an electrical background and I want to explore myself in the field of Electric Vehicles. The students from our college are not only participating in state-level competitions but also performing well. Our college has a very good club culture where students can explore themselves in their fields like motorsports, Rocketry Club, Satellite Club, Cultural Cell, Nautanki club, Media Cell, Student activity centre.

Good campus life and good education.

Placements: Placement for our department is average. Around 40 per cent of students get placed in various companies through placement drives in our college. The highest package offered is around 6.5 LPA. The lowest package offered is around 2 LPA. And the average package is around 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are KPIT and TCS. Around 70 percent of students get internships.

Infrastructure: The library is so good. It has received the 'Library of the Year' award recently. Facilities and infrastructure available are good. Wi-Fi has an average range within the campus. Labs are well-equipped. Classrooms are also good and fresh. Hostel infrastructure is good but the quality of food in mess is not so good.

Faculty: Faculty members in our department are very good and well qualified. They have good knowledge of their respective fields. Some faculty members are very helpful and supportive. Overall teaching quality is good in our department. The curriculum is very relevant and it is up to date. I think students of our department are somewhat ready for industries.

Other: I have chosen this course because it is a core branch of engineering. The best thing is that the knowledge can be applied in our daily life. I think the faculty members should encourage and support the students for extracurricular activities.
