Really good campus atmosphere.

Placements: The year 2026 is not a great year for placements in EEE, RIT. Only a few students, fewer than 10, get placed through on-campus placements. Companies like Sobha Industries, L&T, Mitzogo, etc., visit the campus. Roles like GET and internships are offered. Packages are about 6 LPA. Around 15 students get internships during their last semester.

Infrastructure: The department has its own Wi-Fi, which is strong. It also has its own library. Labs are equipped with instruments but lack accuracy. The college hostels provide an adequate quality of living with clean food. The college also promotes sports and games. The college brings together talented students in every field and prepares them for athletic meets and other competitions.

Faculty: All faculty members are hardworking and available to help. The course is relevant in every scenario. Industries always need skilled electrical engineers. Semester exams are a bit difficult in even semesters and have an overall pass percentage of 80%. The last two semester exams are comparatively easier than the other semesters. Choosing the correct elective is also important for getting good marks.

Other: The course provides real-life problem-solving skills. The department could improve its lab facilities. Many cultural events, sports-related events, and fests are conducted every week. The campus has great surroundings and follows an anti-ragging policy.

The college has good and supportive teachers. It has clubs.

Placements: 75 percent of students get placed in this college. The highest offered is 1 lakh per month, and the lowest offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. Top recruiting campus companies like Infotech, IT companies, etc., visit the college for placements. Companies hire students who are skilled in their courses.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the course is very good. Facilities of the college are supportive and standard, which makes us study well. There are more sports facilities like cricket, kabaddi, etc., in this college.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching is average. Semester exams are simple to attend. The pass percentage is above 80 percent. Teachers will always clear doubts of students. They are very supportive. Faculty members are above average.

Other: The best thing about this course is that we get high-salary jobs and can become skilled people. The college will improve our skills and careers. Many fests and events are organised. Scholarships are available.

Overall, I would say college life is good for me.

Placements: The highest package is Rs. 70,000 per month. The average package is Rs. 40,000 per month. IBM, Infosys, and UST are some of the most recruiting companies here. 10 to 15 percent of people got internships in these companies. The software tester, sales manager, and software engineer are the most common job roles coming for placement.

Infrastructure: The college has a very nice and peaceful environment, which makes studying feel comfortable and stress-free. There are a lot of trees, open spaces, and clean surroundings that give fresh air and a calm feeling throughout the day. Students can sit outside, talk with friends, or even study quietly, which is really enjoyable. The food in the college is also very good, especially in the hostel mess. They serve fresh and tasty meals every day with a proper variety. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are well planned and mostly healthy, too.

Faculty: The faculty is almost good, and some of them are very helpful, and they guide us throughout our entire educational time with them. Some of them are very friendly and polite to the students . I will not say the curriculum makes the students industry-ready because there are lots more to understand when coming to the real world. Semesters are not that difficult, if studied you can score higher marks.

Other: My batch is amazing and has made good relationships with everyone.

Good college - worth the fees.

Placements: Almost half of the students from 23 year passout batch got placed in that year, but now the trend is down falling due to the recession taking place in the companies due to the post covid effect. Also, placements are happening from different companies, Tata Elxsi, L&T, Tarento, Litmus 7, Q burst, etc. The companies not only take on direct job they take the students for an internship plus a job format, so that students get the opportunity to work as in internship with job level salary.

Infrastructure: The college has facilities like libraries for departments and also a college library, a central main library. The hostels are two for boys and 3 for girls, which are the government hostel, the college hostel, and also many private hostels with equivalent facilities as that of the government hostel, including Wi-Fi 24-hour, water, electricity supply, good atmosphere to study, 3 per room, and food and accommodation facilities worth the rent.

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified, most with a doctorate, and they are very helpful. Course curriculum is also relevant because it is very useful for the advancement of industry, and it also makes a students industry ready. The semester exams are medium to hard level examinations, depending on the type of examination. Most of the regular exams are made easy to medium, but in certain exams, tough papers were also given. The college is among the top 5 colleges in Kerala and has a pass percentage of always greater than 90%.

Other: The course is very relevant for the developing industry, and the course was chosen by me due to its relevance and also advancements taking place in the industry. It is a core field apart from the other new fields in robotics, cybersecurity, computer science, etc. The college has a technical fest for the whole college and also for every department, along with arts day, college day, sports day, and many other programs.

Great for aspiring students who wish to enjoy college life with good academic performance.

Placements: Approximately more than 60% students are getting placed by companies. Approximately 87% of the offers by placement companies are secured by our students. The highest package range is 15 LPA. The lowest package is 2.5- 3 LPA, and on average, 3-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are IBM, TCS, Cognizant, Larsen & Toubro, etc. Internship opportunities are grabbed by 90% of our students at various companies based on online and offline interviews and other technical tests. Roles offered depend on their individual branch of study, but relevant roles are assigned to everyone who gets placed.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are advanced and well-maintained. Labs are air-conditioned and neat. An air-conditioned skill development centre is available. The RIT library is spacious and has a wide variety of books, from academic to other genres. Classrooms are wide and spacious to accommodate 80 students. College hostel and canteen food are very good and tasty without shortage. Medical facilities are available. A physical trainer is always available at the physical education department. A Government-recognised counsellor is available once a week. Sports and games are much appreciated. A wide Variety of sports and games are practised here, including yoga and zuba. RIT has won many competitions at the university-level sports.

Faculty: Faculty members are hardworking and sincere in their professions. They are always available for any doubt clearance. Academically, RIT has great scholars who are University rank holders. Internal exams are relevant and helpful to practice for University exams.

Satisfied because of the teachers and campus, dissatisfied because of placement.

Placements: Only 20 students are placed in my course this year. The highest package offered is 3LPA, and the lowest is 1 LPA. The top recruiting companies in my course are Sobha Construction and L&T Private Limited. Only 5 percent of students got internships from my course, and the companies are Keltron, ISRO, and Cochin Shipyard. Top roles offered in my course are junior executive, supervisor, graduate engineer, and trainee.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi labs, classrooms, and the library are of moderate conditions because this is a government college. Private hostels are in good condition, while government hostels still need maintenance. The fund is issued by the government, and hence, funding is a little bit lagging.

Faculty: The teachers who work here are well-educated. As they clear the government exams and teach here. The course curriculum is relevant. The semester exams are of a moderate level, and almost 70 percent of students pass the exam. They share their maximum knowledge with the students.

Other: I chose this course as I am very interested in this subject. I need to learn more sub-courses related to this field. Every year, there will be certain fests and programmes happening for the students. Tech fest and cultural festival will be there in alternate years.
