I am satisfied with Rajkiya Engineering College.

Placements: Around 60% of students get placed on campus every year. Top recruiting company is TCS, as it takes a huge number of students. There aren't many opportunities for internships. Top roles offered to students are software engineer, web developer, and Android developer.

Infrastructure: Our college provides all types of facilities like Wi-Fi, a library, and labs. Hostels are pretty good, and the quality of the mess food is not much good. All types of medical facilities are available in the hostel. Huge indoor and outdoor stadiums are available for sports.

Faculty: The faculty members for management are very professional. Every faculty is an expert in their field. The way they teach us is never forgettable. They also provide practical knowledge. Academics are good. The curriculum is up to date, and it includes all the recent developments. Academic calendar is flexible. This helps us gain good subject knowledge and get job-ready.

Other: You can get a UP scholarship as well as a national scholarship. For the top three students, they provide some monetary prizes. But the fee is average, and it is justified as they provide various facilities.

Students from civil and mechanical also get placed, so the placements are good.

Placements: Around 70% of the students got jobs through direct placements and indirect placements. The highest salary package offered is around 12 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. The top companies that visit here are HCL and TCS, but you get placements in local companies like Capgemini, etc.

Infrastructure: There is no playground for students. Wi-Fi is available all the time. Labs are very good here, and you got all the books for your semester exams from the library. Classrooms are good and air-conditioned, and digital and traditional boards are available in classrooms.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and our college also has a good record on the GATE exam. Many faculty members are young, so the environment is very supportive. Teachers teach very well and are available for students all the time. Faculty members are good enough and well-qualified. They have completed their M.Tech and Ph.D. and thus are very qualified. They teach well, but you have to put effort. Their teaching quality is good but primitive methods of chalk and blackboard are being used. As a first-year student, I did not get any industry exposure. Teachers do their job well and complete the syllabus in time.

Other: I have chosen information technology because of my interest in computers. UP government gives scholarships according to the law made by the government.

Review of Rajkiya Engineering College.

Placements: In the year 2022, our seniors got a salary package of 10 LPA. Most of the students are placed on campus. The rate of getting placed is 55 out of 60. Some of the top recruiting companies are Planet Sparks and Byjus. We also have a placement cell that helps students get placed.

Infrastructure: Hostels are good. In every room, there are 3 students. Every student will get their own bed, table, and cupboard. The mess food doesn't taste like home-cooked food, but it's not too bad. Bathrooms are well maintained and always get cleaned every week. We have a fully conditioned library, computer labs, a chemistry lab, a physics lab, and a workshop lab.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified with Ph.D. degrees. You can ask anything related to their subject. If you are an average student, then you have to work hard to study, otherwise, you will fail the examination. If you want to pass exams, just make your notes in your readable language so that you can revise everything just before the exam.

Other: I chose this course because I have liked cars since childhood. They need to improve more core subjects in the mechanical branch. You will get a fest every month and one special Rajkiya Premier League for cricket, which is held in March or April.

The behaviour of the faculty members is very good with all students.

Placements: Many students got placed at our college in companies like Tech Mahindra, TCS and Byju's. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, and the minimum salary package offered is 3 LPA. Many students joined many types of internships. The college offer roles mainly in IT engineering.

Infrastructure: The hostel facility is very good. The hostel serves very tasty food made by the cook on time. The quality of the food served is very good, and the parts of the hostel are very cleaned. All hostel rooms are cleaned by the servant daily on time. The connectivity of the hostel is very good with high-speed data.

Faculty: Mostly, I like Promod Kumar Srivastav, who is the only teacher for tough mathematics for all branches, and the manner of teaching is also good. Other faculty members are also good. After taking class, faculty members send notes to the students.

The college has well-educated faculty members, but the placements are poor.

Placements: Getting placed from this college is difficult. Still, you can get some decent placement in the IT sector. The chief recruiter is expecting around 8-10 companies visiting the campus for 2019 batch. Training is also a difficulty here, we need to manage on our own. The college doesn't organise industrial visits. Shortly, the college may have tie-ups with some companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is still in the developing stage. Hence, you can't expect modern infrastructure. Two floors are well-furnished, and the rest 2 are under construction. Labs are not well established, but they have all the machines and equipment. There are no playgrounds and multi-purpose halls.

Faculty: The college has well-educated government faculty. Guest faculty members support them. All the young professionals have 3-4 years of experience. Thus, they can give better guidance about GATE. They have great command over their subjects. The college follows AKTU's course curriculum.

Other: Events are conducted on a regular basis, so one can enjoy their college life. The location is a remote area. Hence, connectivity is a bit problem, and the city Varanasi is 50 km away.

College location was not good. The market was 5–10 km away from the college.

Placements: There were no placements in Mechanical Engineering, and no company showed interest in conducting placement drives. The number of admissions kept decreasing continuously. No one from the Mechanical department got a job. Only four to five Mechanical Engineering students got jobs in business development.

Infrastructure: Facilities were good. Wi-Fi was available with a daily data limit of 1 GB. Labs were good, smart classrooms were available. The library was open only during the daytime. The mess was available, but the food was very spicy and oily. I felt a burning sensation in my chest after eating the food.

Faculty: Faculty was supportive, qualified, and knowledgeable, but sometimes the guest faculty was not good. Some teachers taught well, but others only fulfilled their responsibilities. No books were available in the library or the market for some newly added elective subjects.
