Best polytechnic college in West Bengal.
Placements: Ramakrishna Mission Shilpamandira is a fantastic college, where the placement rate is high, nearly about 98% and the companies are also good, department-wise core job. Some companies are JSL, Wood, Voltas, Volvo, Ashok Layland, Tata Advance, and many others.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility is very poor, but the mess coordinator may visit the mess once in a month to check the mess conditions but no action will be taken. The classrooms are in good condition also the lab and workshops are well placed. The Wi-Fi facility is not available for students.
Faculty: Faculty is quite good. The teachers are helpful and their teaching quality is very good. In every month internal exams have to be given also with a huge assignments for each subjects, which helps us a lot in semester exams to get a good mark with a good percentage.
Other: Scholarship is given by the state council. Campus surrounding is good.

The college helps to create our future perfectly and a great career.
Placements: This year, a very good number of students got placements. 35 companies visit the college to recruit new fresher students. Almost 99% of students got jobs from college-campus programs. The college provides vocational training at Bakreswar Thermal Power Plant, Aditya Birla, etc.
Infrastructure: Sports and games facilities are good. The college grounds are well-maintained. Every morning, our college starts by chanting a prayer for Swami Vivekananda Ramakrishna and Maa Sarada. Then, the air technical presentation will be given by students for 5 minutes.
Faculty: All the faculty members guide us properly. Every month an internal sessional exam is conducted by the college to know our study preparation every month and the final semester. Industrial readiness is provided by the college to improve our behavior.
Other: The college provides scholarships like the Mahindra Swami Vivekananda Scholarship, Bluestar Scholarship, etc.

Good placements in every year, 100% placements are provided.
Placements: Some recruiting companies are Jindal Stainless, Volvo, Blue Star, and Voltas. These companies give a huge package, such as Rs. 48000 per month (the highest package). Every year, an internship certificate is provided by the college, so it helps in students' future lives.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are well placed. They also provide medical facilities. After 5:00 PM, the students are gathered in the playground to play football, cricket, and volleyball. Every week, the mess coordinator visits every mess to check the mess conditions. Canteen facility is also given.
Faculty: Every month, every student has to give internal exams, which help us in semester exams to get marks. Industry readiness gives every month to the students for their improvement. Teachers are very friendly and help the students a lot, and there are some curriculum activities conducted.

Placements: As we all know, this college is known for its disciplined educational structure and excellent placements every year. In 2025, 98% of students are placed in my course and 100% of students are placed. The highest package offered by Normet India is 5 LPA. The lowest salary is 2.2 LPA. The average package is around 3 LPA. Top companies in my course are Tata Advanced, Volvo, Voltas, Wood India, Jindal, Ashok Leyland, Arcelor Mittal, Blue Star, Normet, Tata Hitachi, and many more. More than 25 companies come to recruit students. This year the salary is 6.2 LPA (DEE and DCE).
Infrastructure: There are so many advanced labs and workshops in our college. The labs and workshops are regularly upgraded as per current technology. So many companies are building up their own labs in our college like Blue Star, Indian Oil Petronius, Siemens, and a new contract has been signed by TVs Motors. We have a big machine shop also including CNC and VMC. Also, we have 3D printer machines. In our college, there is a big library all semester, and extra books are provided from the library for every student.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and maximum have Ph.D. holders. They learn and deliver a lot of extra things and technology apart from the textbook. It can help us in future professional life. They are so helpful and supportive. Our college regularly conducts exams as monthly internal tests. In the exam hall, there are 5-6 guard teachers and 4 live CC cameras. But don't be afraid that teachers are completely making us ready to give 100% output in exams, and company interviews.
Other: Actually, this is not a normal college, this is a manufacturer of future engineers. The best diploma college in West Bengal. If you want a disciplinary lifestyle and try some new things. You love this college. Also, there are so many strict rules, and everyone is not able to follow them. But if you manage all things, you get a very special output in 3rd year.

Best technical college within affordable fees.
Placements: This year, almost 95% of students were placed in our course. Average packages received by our students were around 2.8 lacs per annum; the highest package received this year was nearly 4 lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies of our course were TATA MOTORS, MAHINDRA, TATA STEEL, JINDAL, L&T, etc. This year, most of the students got their internships.
Infrastructure: Our college has one of the best infrastructures for technical education; most of the labs were so good and well maintained, and the workshops were well equipped. Our classes were projector-enabled for better learning, libraries were full of knowledgeable books, and Wi-Fi facilities were also provided. The food quality was very good and tasty. Medical facilities were available. Sports equipment was present.
Faculty: Our teachers were very good their teaching process was very understandable. They were highly knowledgeable and experienced professionals. Our course curriculum was relevant and it prepared the students for the industry. Our semester exams were not so hard.
