B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2019
3.8
Every year, sports and culture are organized by college.
Placements: The college doesn't provide any sort of placements. They just informed us about a pool campus that was going on in techno india. Moreover two or three companies came to provide placements, but unfortunately they were BPOs. It was the same in our senior batch too.
Infrastructure: The Infrastructure is good. The campus is huge. It is a far better then any other campus. The campus consists of the football ground, three canteens, free Wi-Fi zone, one indoor stadium, gym and girls hostel.
Faculty: The teachers were very helpful. They taught us well. But we can do nothing with our studies if we don't get any sort of placements in our college. The faculty were qualified too, and they provide us quality education. We didn't get any industry exposure.
Other: Very poor placement cell.

The college is excellent, faculty are helpful, the Wi-Fi is available. The campus is eco-friendly.
Placements: I got placed in Manlift India Pvt. Ltd. and the salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. Students were offered jobs across India. To join the company, I have to submit all my documents, and I've to sign a 2-year bond. So I didn't join the company. I got the job in another company, but the salary package offered is very poor. The college is good, but salary packages offered by the companies are very poor.
Infrastructure: Companies like L&T, Genpact, HGC, Manlift India Pvt. Ltd, Ragilix, Voltas, MRF, Pavitra management etc., visit the college to offer job through campaign companies. But the salaries offered are very poor. Companies like L&T, Voltas, and MRF offer a salary package of 2 LPA, but the other companies offer a salary package of 1.2-1.4 LPA.
Faculty: The faculty members are helpful and friendly. Classrooms are very good, and they are fully air-conditioned. The library is very big, and there are many books available in the library. The college has a first aid room. The college also provides sports facilities. The labs are very good, and they are air-conditioned. But the labs in the mechanical department are not air-conditioned.
Other: The environment and the education system followed are excellent.

The worst engineering college.
Placements: Placement is too poor. They offered only Marketing and sales jobs. As an engineer that was not suitable for us. Salary package is approximately 1.5 to 2 Lacs per annum. They only Bring marketing and sales companies for placement. Percentage of students who got an internship from college is 0. yes There is a so-called placement cell but that was totally useless.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good but not the superb. Classrooms are nice, the library contains enough books, medical facilities are not present here, sports and games facilities are not good. Yes, there is Wi-Fi. But not for students. They only show it up on their websites saying there is full Wi-Fi enabled campus but its fake. And at last, I came to the labs. Labs are good but not enough components and equipment are present there.
Faculty: They offered B.Tech and Diploma as well as BBA MBA courses. Courses are big but faculty members and their knowledge are too tiny to fit in this. Faculty members are a most horrible thing in this college, They don't have enough knowledge to teach in an engineering college. Some of them having M.Tech degrees but not all the faculty members have Masters in technology. After 4 years I completing my B.Tech I want to say the lab assistance having more knowledge than some of the professors. Faculty members ARE the worst THING IN THIS COLLEGE.
Other: Only Tech Fest have occurred. No cultural fest, no extracurricular activities are there, yes scholarship is available but only for reserved candidates.

Considering the college, everything is good but it needs to improve a lot.
Placements: There are least number of placements in our college. Sometimes there have been fake companies as well. But now they are offering a good number of placements with good amount of salary packages ranging between 2.3 - 9.8 LPA which is pretty good. The average package is 2.3 LPA, and getting the highest package is pretty rare. The college should take few more initiatives for grooming the students. In the least, there should be companies in which students are willing to join.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good enough for students, and teachers are quite well. There is no fest or freshers. It's totally vague now. But there happens to be a tech-fest, but that just for show; there is nothing appropriate about the tech fest. The canteen is well-maintained, but the food hasn't been acceptable for a year or so; it was really bad. Though it improved lately, there is a need for varieties in food. Otherwise, the canteen is good, and the workers are fun. Wi-Fi is totally bad and really worthless. The computer lab is okay but the configuration to work with is not up to the level. We have requested for Wi-Fi connection in a different lab which was being setup lately, but there was no response from the authorities about it.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and qualified. They will be ready to help you in your problems. They seem nice when it comes to studies. Sports are not encouraged here; once a year students play cricket, and there is nothing else. The common room now remains empty other than few of us playing carroms. During final sports meet, students participate in long run and cricket, that's it. That's what you get to see here. None the less, students come, eat, study and leave. This is the possible case scenario here. You won't see them doing something creative; it is pretty rare.

Our college is worth the money.
Placements: Compared to the other colleges, the placements in our college are the best. Most of the colleges don't give placement. Every month, about 2-3 companies come to the college for placements. Our placement officer is friendly with the students, which is very important for all the colleges.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best. One of the most important things is our laboratory. The laboratory equipment and laboratory process are outstanding. The classrooms are also neat and clean all the time. Most of the colleges don't have ACs in the classes, but our college has AC in all the classes.
Faculty: All types of courses such as B.Tech, diploma, BCA, MCA, BBA, MBA are available on our campus. The faculty are too good. All the faculty members are helpful, and our TIC always speaks frankly with us and help us always. And now our college is trying to be a self-university within the coming 2 years.
Other: One bad thing in the college is, we have no tech fest held in our college. We have no freshers and welcome party.

It is a good college and better than other colleges.
Placements: There are good placements. Also, good companies visited the campus, and 20 to 30 students passed the interview. So, I suggest that it is better than other colleges.
Infrastructure: The college campus is very big. There are 5 buildings in total. One university building is built recently, and the others are diploma and B.Tech buildings. There is one sports ground. There is also a common room, which is the games room. The labs are clean and well-equipped. B.Tech building has free Wi-Fi zone. All the classrooms have CCTV cameras in the front. The cooling mineral water machine is available.
Faculty: Faculty services are very better. All the classes are conducted time to time. All the teachers are very faithful. The teachers talk well. Faculty are very helpful. If any teacher is absent, then that particular class is taken by another teacher, so we will not miss any class in between the college hours.
Other: One fest is conducted every year, and one tech fest is also conducted.

Satisfied, and the reason behind this is my good placements and best faculty experience.
Placements: I got an offer letter from Value Prospect Consulting with the CTC of Rs. 10.2 lpa, Hinduja Global Solution with the CTC of Rs 1,73,000 p.a., Marc Bearings Pvt. Ltd. with Rs. 1,44,000 p.a. I passed out in the year 2017, and maximum campus visits are organised by our college, approximately, 60 companies from different sectors like IT (Regalix), sales and marketing, consulting, core companies, and BPOs like Genpact and Hinduja Global Solution. Good placement record with placement assistance.
Infrastructure: Hi-Tech campus with the facilities of free Wi-Fi, modern labs and library, book bank with study rooms, and A/C classrooms. There is a green lush playground with garden and lotus pond which enhances the beauty of college. The cafeteria and canteen are available.
Faculty: Since I was a student of EE department and in this situation, I feel glad and proud by giving a review about my college. Qualified and experienced faculty members are available. Doubt and extra classes are arranged every week. The guest faculty members are invited for giving lectures. The courses offered are B.Tech (UG course) in computer science and engineering (CSE), electrical (EE), electronics & communication (ECE), civil (CE), and mechanical (ME), and a diploma in computer science technology (CST), mechanical (ME), electrical (EE), civil (CE). The PG courses offered are MBA and MCA.
Other: The festivals organised are techfest, cultural fest, sports and games like annual sports and inter-college sports competition. The college helps the students in the preparation of government job exams for aspirants.

Average infrastructure. Poor placements, but they are improving. Management is very strict.
Placements: There are nice placements here, but not with very high salary package. Most of the companies here are from Gujarat and Delhi, and most of them are the marketing companies. There will be no core companies be arriving at the campus. Most of the campus placements here are pooled campus drive. They should have more focus on the campus placements, and the grooming sessions for the students should be arranged here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is very good, and the classes here are fully air-conditioned. Here, the library facilities are also very good with two books given to every subject. It also has a very nice playground in front of the college along with a nice gallery. Also, the ambiance here is good compared to the other colleges of the same grade. I think no improvement is required in this case; rather they should work more towards making the placements well here.
Faculty: Here, there are top-notch faculty members as per the university standard. The faculty here are also good, but they need to be improved a bit, and there is a lack of doctorate faculty members here. Most of them have M.Tech degree, and some of them who have M.Tech are pursuing their PhD. They must also hire some experienced faculty members who have worked in industry and have practical field experience.

Yes, you're eligible, though you won't get any decent government college. Try to get some good private college. Moreover, you can predict the college you can get with your rank with this predictor- https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/resources/wbjee-college-predictor All the best.
