Overall, it is a good field with good faculty.
Placements: Around 60–70% of students get placed, with packages ranging from approximately 4 LPA to 10 LPA and an average of about 6 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, and Accenture, offering roles such as data analyst, software developer, IT consultant, and junior AI engineer. Internships have no fixed percentage, with some secured through the college and many through projects or off-campus efforts.
Infrastructure: The college offers free Wi-Fi with a 1:1 computer ratio, ERP portals, and official student emails. The library has around 28,000 books, e-journals, OPAC access, and a tie-up with the IIT Powai library, classrooms and halls are air-conditioned with projectors, including a seminar hall seating about 200 and an auditorium seating approximately 850, specialized labs are available for AI/IT, electronics, mechanical, CAD/CAM, and more. Sports facilities include an equipped gym, outdoor courts, and a playground, other amenities include a terrace garden and a placement cell office, there is no on-campus hostel, so students stay in nearby PGs costing around ₹8,000–15,000 per month, the mess offers good-quality, home-style food, and the hygienic canteen serves Indian and Chinese snacks, while no clear or official on-campus medical facility is mentioned.
Faculty: Teachers are mostly helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, though some use outdated methods. The curriculum is relevant and industry-oriented with modern labs, but could include more practical projects. Exams are tough, checking is strict, yet the pass percentage is above average.
Other: I chose AI & IT for its career scope in AI/ML and Data Analytics, the best things about the program are the supportive faculty, relevant curriculum, good labs, and placement opportunities, though it needs more practical projects and updated teaching methods, campus life includes tech and cultural fests, a friendly crowd, clubs, and sports. The location in Bandra is well-connected with good surroundings, and merit and government scholarships are available.

Good faculty support and decent placements.
Placements: At Rizvi College, around 75% of students in our course were placed. The highest package is 12 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, and Wipro. About 60% got internships in firms like L&T, Accenture. Roles are Developer, Analyst, and Engineer.
Infrastructure: The college is having very good classes, which include AC. Our course has smart classrooms, Wi-Fi, computer labs, library & seminar halls. Hostels offer clean rooms, decent mess food, a canteen, 24/7 medical help, and sports facilities for cricket, football & indoor games.
Faculty: The faculty are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, with good teaching methods. The curriculum is relevant and keeps students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult but manageable, with a high pass percentage, as most students clear successfully.

Real and genuine review of Rizvi College.
Placements: Around 60% of the students were placed in the placement, and the highest was around 13 Lacs per annum, and the lowest was around 4 Lacs per annum. The top recruiters in my college were TCS, Capgemini, Google, and Microsoft. The percentage of students who got internships from my college is around 60-70%. The top roles offered in my course are fresher roles in computer software development, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure available in my department are like every class, it has Wi-Fi, and the labs have two to three Wi-Fi routers as the lab is big. The library has many books to read, and the space is very spacious, with around 100 to 200 people able to sit at one time. The quality of the facilities is good, but the food is good but a little...
Faculty: Yes, the teachers were helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. I can see that while the exams were held, the teachers supported us in many ways. They are providing important topics and completing the syllabus. Therefore, we don't have any regrets about the course. The core curriculum does make students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because it's the most demanding course in today's world, computer engineering. It is the best I can have around the college, so I chose this course. Improvements about the course... well, it doesn't have any major improvement. I think it needs more practical knowledge and practical data. The placement opportunities are very good.

Graduates are placed in various roles across IT, civil, and mechanical engineering sectors. The college has a decent placement record, with some students securing high packages and roles in top companies. Placement varies by department.
Infrastructure: Rizvi College of Engineering has modern facilities, including Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, and spacious classrooms. The library offers a vast collection of books and online resources. Hostel facilities are decent, with average food quality in the mess and canteen. Medical facilities are available on campus. Sports and games infrastructure includes a playground, gym, and indoor facilities for activities like table tennis and carrom. Overall, the facilities support a comfortable learning and living experience for students. The campus provides a conducive environment for academic and extracurricular activities.
Faculty: Teachers at Rizvi College of Engineering are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. Teaching quality is good, with clear explanations and supportive teachers. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for their field. The college focuses on experiential learning and industry readiness. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and the pass percentage is around 80%. Overall, the college provides a good learning experience, making students industry-ready with a strong foundation in their chosen field.
Other: I chose Rizvi College of Engineering for its strong reputation and industry connections. The best things about my course are the knowledgeable faculty and practical training. I wish for more industry exposure and an updated curriculum. The college hosts various events and fests, and the campus crowd is friendly. Connectivity is good, with decent campus surroundings. Scholarships are available for meritorious students, and extracurricular activities like sports and cultural events are encouraged. Overall, it's a great place to learn and grow.

Decent college with supportive faculty, good infrastructure, and moderate placements.
Placements: Around 65–70% of students were placed from our batch of 60. The highest package was 12 LPA, the lowest around 3 LPA, with an average of 5.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, and some startups recruited. About 50% got internships in companies like Cognizant, Deloitte, and a few local firms. Common roles offered were software developer, analyst, tester, and support engineer.
Infrastructure: The department had decent infrastructure with Wi-Fi, well-maintained classrooms, basic labs, and a library with useful resources. Hostel facilities were average, rooms were manageable, and cleanliness was maintained. The mess food quality was okay, with limited variety but hygienic. The canteen offered basic snacks. Medical facilities were available on campus, though limited. Sports facilities included a playground, indoor games, and annual sports events, but equipment was sometimes lacking.
Faculty: Most teachers were helpful, well-qualified, and had good knowledge of their subjects. Teaching quality was decent, though it varied from teacher to teacher. The course curriculum covered the basics well, but needed more practical exposure to make students fully industry-ready. Semester exams were moderate in difficulty, with regular study. They were manageable. The pass percentage was around 85–90%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in the field and the career opportunities it offers. The best part was the structured syllabus and helpful faculty. However, more focus on practical learning and industry exposure would have made it better. College events and fests were fun, and the campus crowd was diverse and friendly. Connectivity to the campus was decent. Extracurricular activities were available, but could be more frequent. Scholarships were offered based on merit and financial need.

One of the best faculty members, but infrastructure is negative.
Placements: As a SE student, we are not usually aware of the exact number of placements, but they are not very special. The most notable recruiting companies in my opinion are TCS and Accenture. However, the salary packages offered are quite low in value. The highest salary package offered was around 6 LPA as of 2023 session. Overall it's an average to below-average college if we consider placement opportunities. The average salary package offered is around 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Everybody mostly gets internships through other third-party companies separate from the college or placement cell.
Infrastructure: Almost all classrooms have air conditioners and Wi-Fi, as well as projectors. There are Aquaguards on every alternate floor providing both normal purified water and chilled purified water. However, the college shares multiple facilities with four to five other colleges which is horrible. There are only two elevators and they are always busy and overworked. Canteen is not big if we consider the fact that it is common for law, architecture, hotel management colleges, etc. We will never get a place to sit during lunchtimes which almost makes the canteen useless and also it's overpriced.
Faculty: This college has one of the best faculty members in Mumbai colleges. Especially the HODs and other professors in high-level positions are very caring and always cater to everyone personally. Each semester we get question banks to prepare well for the IIAs called "Term tests" and those are very helpful. Most teachers have more than 10 years of experience and we always feel like professors are our friends, they are the nicest.
Other: There is an annual fest called Rays and there are a number of productive events we can participate in. The location is refreshing as well since it's located near the sea. Although far from the railway station it's still very accessible because of bus and sharing autorickshaw services from Bandra station.
