College is good, but the evaluation of RGPV Bhopal University is bad.
Placements: When I was studying, none of the company visited the college for placement. The college doesn't provide proper instruments for practical, but later they are updating and got many new instruments for practicals. Companies also visit for placement on the campus. I don't have an idea about the internship.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility available on the campus. Labs are in very bad condition. The college has classrooms and a library, but books are not available when students need them. There is no medical facility available before. After a year, sports and games are played on Saturday.
Faculty: Teachers are good, helpful, well-qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good, and they use the blackboard method for teaching. The student-faculty ratio in common subject is 120:1, and in other subjects, 60:1. I did not get industry exposure.
Other: The college provides scholarships to ST, SC, OBC students. The campus crowd is good. Every year, the college organises events like freshers party and farewell.

I am absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty.
Placements: Placements in our college are not good. The college boasts about placements but they are not able to provide placements. They are not even trying to invite companies. They are providing internships, but these internships are of no use. In internships, the company only gives the introduction of the work and explains what you have to do.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average. The library is available in the college but not properly maintained. Indoor games are available but outdoor games are not available here. Canteen and mess are available here, and the quality of the food served is also good. Hostels are also available, and they are good.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are PhD holders, but none of them knows how to teach in the class. They do not clarify doubts. They don't get any industry tour and don't provide industry exposure. The student to faculty ratio is 60:1. The course curriculum is not worth as there are many good colleges in the country.

An average engineering college.
Placements: The important note is this college is now as a deemed university, earlier, and it was under the state technological university of
Madhya Pradesh. Now, it is known as Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan University, i.e., SRK University. Let me be frank, most of the colleges in Bhopal do not offer placement. RKDFIST is one of them. Except for computer Science and electronics engineering, there are no placements for other branches of this college. Even in CS or Electronics, the placement percentage is quite low. For example, during my batch, only 5-8 students from these two branches got placed, and their average packages were below 2.5 LPA or even less. If somebody asks me to rate on the scale of 10, I will give it 1.5. Only local area based companies used to select the students. A few big companies like Bharti Airtel used to come sometimes. There's no internship from the college or we can say even we don't know what internship is. They used to think internship and vocational training are similar. There is a TPO cell which is of no use. So, I can rate 1.7 out of 10.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is fine. It's not that bad, but also not that good. When I was in college, there were no Wi-Fi facilities. I don't know about now. Labs and classrooms are also good. In some labs, many of the equipment is missing, but I think that is due to the financial problem or costly equipment. For boys, the hostel was only for 1st-year students. The canteen facilities are just basic one, and only breakfast facility is there.
Faculty: The TPO cell in charge is not that much knowledgeable. Some teachers were very useful, qualified and knowledgeable. Not all the faculty were good, but some of them were extraordinary. The college teaching quality was not too good at that time. Only a few faculty used to take an interest in teaching. Teaching methods were traditional, but sometimes they used digitalised methods. At my time, the ratio was 4-5 students per faculty. The college used to send us in some construction industry time to time to gain basic knowledge. This college used to come under state technological university, i.e., RGPV, Bhopal, but now, this college became deemed university in 2016, and its name has changed to SRK University.
Other: There is an annual day, or annual fest called Sancharan. It includes many indoor and outdoor sports. You can't see the crowded campus on ordinary days. The college connectivity is good, just near to NH 12. Bus facility is also good, no matter where you live in Bhopal, the college bus can reach you easily. Scholarship facility is available time to time by some bank or by the state government for reserved students.
