Placements: 50% of students get placed in this course. The highest package in our course is 6 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The top roles offered in this course are many like IT fields. The percentage of students who get internships in our course is 90% in private companies.
Infrastructure: It feels better to learn and fresh to leave the college to learn something which will be useful in this course. The hostel is good to stay in without any problems. It serves good food. We can live in the hostel without any disturbance or any irrelevance.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and supportive. They are qualified for this course. They are very knowledgeable about this course. Their teaching quality is very much better. They make us ready for the industry work and earn according to the course.

I can review the college 4/5 because all facilities are good but placements are low.
Placements: I am from 2025, passing out batch of artificial intelligence and data science, and the first alumni batch of this course. Now that I am in the 7th semester, the placement is not much interesting. The 3 companies came till now in the 6th semester and still are to come. The average package is 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college campus is excellent. The college has all kinds of facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, canteen, zero shop, and hostel too. There were up to 15 Wi-Fi networks available, separate hostels for boys and girls. And a digital library is available, and it consists of more than 2000 books with a reading room available 24/7.
Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful and knowledgeable. Most of them are well qualified and well educated; some of them have done Masters in a particular course and will teach well. The course on artificial intelligence and data science is future, and it is going to make an impact in big ways. If I say about examinations in this college, they are very strict; all classrooms are under CCTV. Minimum passing percentage is 79%.
Other: Artificial intelligence and data Science is a domain where software and hardware technologies are required to build anything like roots, chatbots, models, etc. The annual events are conducted once a year and include more then 20 technical and non-technical events. There were around 600 students who graduated next year. You can apply for NSP and SSP scholarships.

There were low placement offer in our college.
Placements: The depth of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science started 2 years ago, so placements have not been achieved yet. The highest package is 7 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Spyder, Infosys, etc. There are less number of students who have get internships.
AI Architect, Data Scientist, ML Engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college has Wi-Fi, digital classrooms, library, labs, digital labs, a garden, grounds, canteens, and more. I am not from the hostel, but according to my friends, the hostel is more secure, and the mess food is a little bit good, not much. The hostel is good, and students can join other messes outside the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are well, and they don't have vast knowledge about courses we get. They are well-qualified. The teaching quality is well compared to other colleges in Belagavi. Our course is very good, and if students complete our course, they have more chances to get a job in the industry. Students are not ready to go into the industry while studying here.
Other: I chose this course because I like to explore it, so I took admission here.
The practical knowledge should be more than the teaching. There are events by depth, and the fest is held once a year, but trust me, it's damn good. The campus is well-maintained, and scholarships are dependent on students.

Well-equipped campus with supportive faculty and good placement opportunities.
Placements: I am pursuing a B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at SGBIT (S. G. Balekundri Institute of Technology), batch 2021–2025. Although my batch has not yet graduated, the placement statistics for the previous batch (2024) are promising. Around 80% of eligible students got placed. The highest package offered was 12 LPA by a product-based company, while the lowest package was 3 LPA. The average package ranged between 4.5 and 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The Artificial Intelligence and Data Science department is well-equipped with smart classrooms. It includes high-speed Wi-Fi, modern labs with GPU-enabled systems, and access to online libraries and journals. The central library is spacious with a good collection of technical books. The hostel offers clean rooms, 24/7 water and electricity, Wi-Fi, and security. The mess provides hygienic and decent-quality food with both veg and non-veg options. The canteen serves snacks and beverages. Basic medical facilities and a visiting doctor are available. There are good sports facilities, including a gym, basketball court, cricket ground, and indoor games. Overall, the campus is student-friendly and safe.
Faculty: Faculty in the AI and Data Science department are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. Many hold M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees and are approachable for academic and project-related guidance. The teaching quality is good, with a mix of theory and practical learning. The curriculum is regularly updated to include industry-relevant subjects like Python, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Cloud Computing, making students job-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult but manageable with regular study. The pass percentage is quite high, around 85–90%. Continuous internal assessment, assignments, and lab work help students prepare well for the final exams.

Top recruiters included Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Mindtree, and IBM. Around 70% of students secured internships, with roles like AI architect, data scientist, and ML engineer. The placement cell actively coordinated campus and pool drives to enhance industry readiness.
Infrastructure: The AI and data science department at SG Balekundri Institute of Technology has excellent labs with the latest software and high-speed Wi-Fi. The faculty members provide ample support to help students succeed.
Other: I chose the AI and data science course because of its relevance in today's tech-driven world and its potential for career growth. The best things about the course are the practical learning opportunities, industry-relevant curriculum, and the scope for research. However, I wish there were more hands-on projects and better exposure to real-world applications. Campus has a lively crowd, and events like tech fests provide excellent networking opportunities. Connectivity is good, with decent transport options. The campus surroundings are peaceful, and ideal for studying. Scholarships and extracurricular activities are encouraged, though there could be more options for sports.
