Contentment with the faculty of English and French .

Placements: Ramnarain Ruia College collaborates with University of Pennsylvania, and is offering many placements in the entrepreneurial sector as well as the public sector. Further, several internship opportunities are provided to us constantly for our a multitude of developments.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not at all uniform. There are variety of differences in the benches, placement of benches etc. From one classroom to another. No washrooms are there on the individual floors. There's a renovation going on right now, however, nothing considerable has changed.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are very helpful, especially from the English department. Commendable hard work has been displayed by them with excellent knowledge in their field. The faculty of French is also very appreciable. There are many extracurricular clubs and activities that one can participate in. The examinations are thorough.

Other: The faculty of French is very good, thus I preferred to join this college. There are many clubs and events that the departments, college as a whole and the student council conducts. It is near the train station as well.

It is a good college if you aren't into sports.

Placements: We got random job opportunities posted on WhatsApp, and that was all. There is no real placement cell. We had to look for jobs on our own, and even the opportunities posted, one had to get it done on their own. Not a lot of support is provided by the college regarding this.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty outdated. There is no Wi-Fi. The benches are small. Fans barely work. There is no AC, so one has to manage. There are no sports facilities.

Faculty: The college has excellent faculty. The course structure could be more precise as it feels were haywire. The course structure is basically from a set of books by international authors with really complex English which can be difficult and taxing at times to understand.

Other: The crowd isn't very good. Campus life is almost non-existent. There are minimal sports and cultural activities.

Our college is very knowledgeable and the food is good.

Placements: This college offers various subject combinations which allow students for a vast range of jobs, constant placements are forwarded through professors. The companies are mostly high scale offering internships and a good stipend. Around 25% of students get internships.

Infrastructure: This college has a Wi-Fi facility, a library, and a reading hall for studies. It has a huge space for socializing, and the canteen serves good and healthy food. Students have a shooting range a gym and a games room for leisure with carrom and chess. There is a huge tennis court which is very professional and clean.

Faculty: Professors are helpful and polite, students can go to them for doubts and problems. They are highly educated and qualified and almost very polite with their students. Every student is given personal attention, and the curriculum is very up-to-date. The semesters are easy if students study.

Other: Fests at this college are good, and there is a lot of scope for exposure.

There are no internships in M.A. only it is available for B.A.

Placements: The crowd of students are good basis for academic and also in co-curricula activities. For B.A. the highest salary package offered is 5 LPA. B.A. in economics is wide so any bank, IT firm, MNCs are preferred. After B.A. approximately 50% of students get internships, and BA in economics and psychology.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure for degree college is far better than junior college. Library is open to all anytime within college hours to read, and reading stuff is also available in quantity. There are various laboratories for science classes. Classrooms are good in this college. The canteen is not good.

Faculty: The best teachers students will be able to find here. They help students with all their difficulties. The course is very helpful and it makes the student ready. If one learns throughout the year exams are very easy for them 40% is passing but students have to read to get the admissions.

Other: This course is very wide and students can get jobs easily. There should be compulsory reading for economics-related activities for all students.

It is an excellent college with a great crowd.

Placements: Most of the students are unaware of the placement cell in the college, especially the students of the arts department. Placements in college are not very great, and hardly any student opts for it. Most of the students opt for further studies. Overall, the placements in the college are not that good.

Infrastructure: The college is old, and hence the infrastructure is not modern. However, the students hardly have any complaints about it, except for the washrooms, which are highly unkempt. The college does have all the facilities like gymnasium, library, tennis court etc.

Faculty: Most of the teachers in our college are greatly and aptly qualified. The atmosphere with the teachers is comfortable. The old traditional methods of teaching are followed, and nothing new is prescribed. There is minimal use of technology or other equipment present in the college. The student to faculty ratio varies for every department. Overall, faculty members in the college are excellent.

If you want to balance both academics and extracurricular activities, this is a great choice.

Placements: As graduates, most of the students were looking forward for doing masters. Placements wise, very few companies visit the college to hire the students. Most of the companies which offer sales or voice process with the salary package of 4 LPA visited the college. The company named like J. P Morgan also recruited a few students for their outbound in Goregaon. Tommy Hilfiger visited the college and offered sales roles with good salary package. Placement cell in the college wasn't very actively involved. A few finance firms also visited the college to hire the students.

Infrastructure: All the facilities were available in the college. Wi-Fi facility, library, labs, sports, foreign language centre, gymkhana, etc., were available in the college. After the NAAC accreditation, many facilities were improved and added. The college location is one of the best with both Dadar and Matunga stations which are accessible by walking. The campus surroundings are very quaint and beautiful with the styled houses. The college is adjacent to other prominent colleges like Poddar and Welingkar.

Faculty: I'm not aware of the faculty members of other specialisations, but the faculty members for the economics department were very good. Ms Varsha, Ms Devyani, and Ms Aditi were excellent teachers and are experts in specific areas of economics. They encouraged us to look beyond the curriculum, and they ask us to look at the topics that are related to all the concepts with current affairs. Also, the principal is a hands-on man and is always active in the college.

Other: This is the second best arts college after Xavier and has a historical legacy since 1937. NCC and NSS units is very active in the college as well as the Hindi Natak Mandal. The fest named Ruia is the best part in the college, and the college organises many fests throughout the year. Every department organises a fest on its own, and the collective college fests named Aarohan and Utsav are also organised in the college. The campus crowd is mixed. Here, many conferences are held.

Good faculty with experience and practical knowledge.

Placements: As there are various courses there is no specific placement offer. Ruia provides other various courses in which they may have placements and are useful for the students but courses like B.A. in political Science, economics and so on do not provide placements.

Infrastructure: The Infra is really good There is sitting area for everyone with good canteen. The library is huge enough for the students to sit and study. The classrooms r sufficient enough for maximum of 80-100 students been occupied in it. Some classrooms are with air conditioner while some are without it.

Faculty: Overall the faculty's are well trained and helpful. They have good experience in which ever field they have been teaching. Good practical knowledge and training provided. I being from a political Science background had great faculty members. The department head and the faculty members under her were very helpful and knowledgeable in that particular subject.

Other: The events and festivals conducted are worth attending and having fun The surrounding is decent enough.

Review of S.P. Mandali's Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College.

Placements: There are no many offers in terms of placements here. HOD of the department can personally help you to get better. I would advise you to be in contact with the placement cell of our college from the second year at least. Most of the teachers in the department are quite helpful in placements.

Infrastructure: Our college has a pretty decent infrastructure. Our college has a good canteen, and classrooms are always neat. There are hygienic washrooms. There is no hostel accommodation at Ruia college. Sports like boxing, badminton and cricket are popular. Just like any other college, there is no free Wi-Fi facility here. They always lie that there is Wi-Fi facility

Faculty: During my tenure, our syllabus was prescribed by Mumbai University. Now our college became autonomous, so the syllabus has changed. I came to know from that currently studying students is the changes made in the course curriculum are better for us. There's no need to depend more on MU in terms of exams

Other: Ruia is a more academic leaning college. Despite that, the number of options available for you is enough. One drawback is the office of our college is extremely slow and lazy, and the clerks are also very lazy.
