Sahyadri has great placement records over the years.

Placements: Above 95% of the students who went for placements got placed. The highest package offered was by Adobe She Codes, of 27.5 LPA. All the top MNCs like Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, etc., came here.

Infrastructure: There are facilities like Wi-Fi, computer labs for research or project development purposes. There is a library with research systems too. There are a sports department, canteen and hostel. The canteen offers veg and non-veg food options, but there aren't many options to choose from.

Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, and most of my lecturers have a PhD degree. Information science stream is very similar to computer science stream, and the only difference is that we have two different subjects in the 3rd and 4th years. Rest all is the same. For placements, computer science and information science are considered as one (IT background).

Other: We have many science events, technical quizzes and Hackathons. Many intercollege competitions are held in sports and educational fields.

I would rate this college with 7.5 out of 10.

Placements: Placements in our college were pretty good, and placements also depend on the students' calibre and skills. Around 60% of the students were placed in mass recruiting companies. Nearly 20 % of the students were placed in core and product based companies. The rest of the students were placed in marketing, BPO and service-based companies. The highest salary package offered was 13 LPA, and the lowest was 2.4 LPA.

Infrastructure: The college has a good library, and the classrooms were decent. Wi-Fi facility wouldn't work usually. The college also has huge cafeterias, nice study areas, and a huge cricket ground. Parking facility is average. The quality of the food offered was okay. However, the prices are high. Classrooms had fans which usually wouldn't work well, and the situation is horrible during Summer.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college were helpful, but some of them were annoying ofcourse. However, the rest of them were kind enough to share knowledge. All were postgraduates, and some were PhD holders. The college doesn't provide any industry exposure. The course curriculum followed during our tenure was useless.

Other: They charge a lot of your money in the name of placement training. I suggest don't opt for any of those training sessions even if they make them mandatory courses to pursue.
